Reviews for Sentido Apollo Blue

Review 1:We expected double room with a Quine size bed, but it was two separate beds, for a couple it doesn't work properly. The sauna hamam swimming pool at SPA center cost 12 euro in addition. The events at the pool bar were loud and it was not possible to relax, the fridge was noisy. Faliraki is dead area, nothing to see, so the hotel location is bad if you want to see more than hotel. The beach is full of stones and the sand color is horrible, we rent a car and went to Lindos, Rhodes old city

Review 2:The room was very nice, big, clean and the nice sea view. The bath room is super. We got two dinners as a gift. The food was good and well cooked but nothing special.

Review 3:Our room was very noisy because it was very close to the bar. Also there was a music show every night till late and the music was too loud, so we could not sleep in our room.

Review 4:Beautiful hotel, very good food, staff was really nice and helpful, very close to the beach.

Review 5:- Very lousy cleaning. Even after complaining no cleaning made. - very poor and bad breakfast. - loud live music on some nights, just in front of all rooms.

Review 6:- a la carte menu for lunch.

Review 7:Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Expensive for solo travellers - geared towards tour groups. Gym - unkempt and not cleaned Breakfast buffet - limited, and average quality A la carte buffet - very poor for content and choice.

Review 8:Good location Close to beach and only a short walk to Main Street

Review 9:was not given the partial garden / seaview as booked. I had walls n rooftop view. I had requested for 2nd floor room for greater privacy n security which i got except for the view. In the end i didnt change room coz i check in really late after my friends had a missing luggage n was too troublesome to unpack n repacked..

Review 10:great friendly staff, good location n very near to the beach, good dining recommendations by staff. Will define recommend to my friends..

Review 11:We only booked one week - wish we'd stayed longer!

Review 12:Everything. Especially the amazing poolside and fantastic beach front location. The hotel also hosted a yamas meze evening with a range of Greek food and drink - as much as you could manage for only €16.50. Faliraki is a great base to explore the rest of Rhodes and this hotel is just perfect.

Review 13:nothing

Review 14:Amazing Resort right on the beach. massive pool, huge and delicious breakfast. staff were friendly and wifi was decent. could not fault this place

Review 15:* that we had to pay for beds on the beach * a few loud guests from Russia of Poland

Review 16:* Professional staff and the choosen solution for a misunderstanding with the reservation via booking.com. Thank you! * Diner a la carte was pretty nice and relaxed.

Review 17:Inability of house cleaners to remove dirty cutlery or wine glasses. We were there for a week and the glasses we used on day one, we left them there just to see if at some point they would be cleaned or removed. They weren't! Asked for a taxi got a limousine, not what we asked for but were running too late to argue as it took him 20min to get to the hotel.

Review 18:Low rise resort, well located. Breakfast was good.

Review 19:Nothing in particular ..

Review 20:We liked this hotel

Review 21:Good breakfast. Nice spacious comfortable room. Kiosk in the premises

Review 22:the hospitality ,the quality and varity of food, the cleanness of the whole hotel and their generosity while dealing with customers

Review 23:Rooms with a nice furnished terrace right by the pool

Review 24:there was no conditioner (for hair). no activities for children at the hotel

Review 25:great service, great location, I recommend on the Junior Suite.

Review 26:the beach in front of the hotel was dirty and very bad maintained it's a real pity

Review 27:All fantastic !!

Review 28:This is a comment on the town of Faliraki, rather than on the hotel. We couldn't find any ATM bank machines in the town that would accept our American bank or credit cards, and the banks themselves were unhelpful about the situation. We had no problem with the ATMs in Rodos or Lindos, only in Faliraki. The rooms only have wired internet, rather than WiFi. We came prepared for that by bringing along a small travel hotspot which worked well. However, it would be better if they installed WiFi.

Review 29:This is a beautiful resort hotel right on the beach. There are also many pools scattered around the hotel grounds, and the main pool is particularly nice. It's an easy walk from the hotel to a number of shops and restaurants, along with all the other resorts strung along the beach. Since it was out of season, we got upgraded to a room with a private pool--quite a luxury!

Review 30:Wifi in the rooms would be much more appreciated

Review 31:Staff were faultlessly friendly and helpful- and little touches like leaving a bottle of bubbly in our room on my 30th birthday made me feel so special. Beautiful rooms and great views- HIGHLY recommended

Review 32:Hotel needs to get wifi in the hotel rooms. The only way to get internet service is thru a port... that is old school for such a modern hotel. Wifi in the lobby did not work that good waited 3 hours one day to get it. Had a problem with our hotel key working and was locked out of our room for some time very late at night and had to sleep in lobby till they got it fixed.

Review 33:Great hotel... early in the season and some things were not open yet. Beautiful location.. bus service to everything. Great Brunch/breakfast.

Review 34:This hotel made me not want to come back in Rhodes. It is not a 5 star hotel. The food at the breakfast it is horrible!!!! The milk is in fact water with some milk drops, the waffles are hard as a stone (the kids tried to eat them, but no chance), the juices ... I don't have words. After the first day, maybe from the food or from the pool, we've all got something to our stomac. From 6 persons, 5 of us were throwing up. Pills, pharmacy, a real entertainment:(. Also at the pool the good sun beds are reserved, and some of the others are broken. In the room, the fridge is making like a engine, so no sleep! One of the bulb light in the room is flashin and making a strange sound. Maybe a free disco and we didn't know. At 8:30 am, someone is cutting the grass with a noisy machine so, again, no sleep. The towel are white- grey and not ironed, the gowns...also an ex-white. If you want towels for the beech, you have to go to wellness center, but is closed, or they don't have no, come back in an hour. Perfect for a 5 stars hotel. We are young people, we've been all over the world, but we did not see something like this. It is a pitty. I talked at the reception, the lady told me that she will discuss with the manager and ... no answer, no excuses, no nothing. Maybe it is their way of understanding business and treatment for clients. I love Greece, I love Rhodes (not Faliraki) and it is a pitty that a hotel is making us not want to come back in Rhodes. I repet, we are young and cool people, with kids, with a big travelling experience, but this hotel was a very unplaisant experience. We are still waiting excuses from the hotel... Maybe they will never come. I never wrote on booking, but now I decided to do this because maybe there are other persons that deserve a god holiday, not a bad joke.

Review 35:Just some persons from the staff, the blonde girl from the pool bar and 2 Romanian guys from breakfast and pool bar. They where nice everyday. Also the rooms are spacious . The garden and the pool pretty ok.

Review 36:Being a 5 star hotel you expect certain service: For example you expect someone to pick up the empty glasses by the pool or to put the long bed back in place once customers leave for the following ones.

Review 37:The rooms are very clean and the Hotel is very well situated (only 5 minutes walk from all the restaurants and bar). Being a 5 star hotel we thaught that the cocktails at the pool bar would be much more expensive than the rest of Faliraki, But NO, it was only 0.3 cent more :) So we had a lot of those :)

Review 38:Room cleaning

Review 39:Excellent location: Near beach, restaurants and shops yet quite in the hotel. Good breakfast. Our room was large and comfortable with furnished balcony and pool/sea view.

Review 40:Although there was a wide range of food at the buffet it was like acafeteria with little variety and no special dishes cooked on the spot.Open wines were not good and bottles were not cheap. Tapwater fordrinking was not availble at dinner therefore expensive bottled waterwas the only choice. The desert buffet was sadly lacking. The majorityof guests were German speaking and the hotel services were clearly aimedat this market.

Review 41:Good location, excellent facilities, quiet yet not far from the localnightlife. Reasonable choice of food at the lunch/dinner buffets.Nice beach, plenty of available lounge chairs and umbrellas (extradaily charge).

Review 42:Dislikes: -Faliraki center is disappointing in terms of atmosphere. Itlooks cheap. -The hotel presents itself as a 5 star, but compared toother 5 star hotels worldwide, this hotel is maybe a 4 star at itsbest. We thought we overpaid in terms of what we got. Some examples:-Wifi is supposedly only one hour free, but the signal is too weak inthe room as to use it even. -Fresh orange juice at breakfast is uponrequest and charged. -No ironing facilities in the room. You have togive your clothes to be ironed to housekeeping and it will be charged.-No minibar in the room. -No refill of toiletries and coffee. Thisshould be daily and not upon request. -As a couple we had to sleep ontwo separate beds, which were put together. The mattress isuncomfortable, since you can feel the iron in it. -The shower cubicleis too small, which restricts your movement when showering. -Every timewe showered the bathroom flooded, since water was leaking from theshower cubicle. -Thin walls, so you hear the noise outside (especiallyin the morning when the cleaners are busy and nightly when there ishotel entertainment (our room was directly opposite the entertainmentarea)) and your neighbor. -No courtesy room available after check out. Most charter flights leave late in the evening, so when you want tofreshen up and change your clothes before heading to the airport, youneed to use the shower facility in the public restroom of the hotel. Inmy case, several other guests/visitors walked in including the cleanerswhen I was changing clothes after I had my shower. -We booked a seaview room and paid extra for that, but didn't see the sea since therewas a building in front of it.

Review 43:Likes: -Beach in front of hotel (but it's a public beach with chargesfor sunbeds). -Clean and spacious rooms. -Large and good buffetbreakfast. -Nice lobby, pool and exteriors.

Review 44:Everything, location, room, pool, breakfast

Review 45:Location, pool, breakfast, quiet

Review 46:Solid hotel, quiet area, a minute walk from bars and restaurants, helpful, friendly staff, spacious rooms, nice beach.

Review 47:Food and drink expensive. Location in centre of faliraki

Review 48:Our room was lovely

Review 49:Soluble juices at the breakfast, internet has not worked for three days in the whole hotel.

Review 50:Probably the best beach hotel at Faliraki.
