Reviews for Premier Inn London Heathrow M4/J4
Review 1:The staff were a little over-friendly and it did not seem genuine. One staff member pressured us with their evening meal and breakfast special. When we said "no", she questioned us until we gave a firm, "we do not want it, thank you." Also, the TV was locked at volume 15. With my not-so-perfect hearing I would have liked it just a little louder.
Review 2:Proximity to the airport, restaurant on site.
Review 3:See previous comments
Review 4:Towel holder kept falling on to the floor as it was not secured to the foot correctly. Some banging during the night which kept me awake, this was reported the the office girl. Draught beer was not working and the girl behind the bar didn't seem to know what a G and T was
Review 5:We encourage people to seek an alternative hotel. Visit this hotel if you don't mind dirty bedding, don't care about droplets of blood on your sheets, don't expect accountability and don't care about a good night's sleep.Accountability is unacceptable at this hotel, as the hotel refused to give us a discount. They claimed they addressed the problems. This is just an excuse - given the circumstances. You decide: We found droplets of red blood and blood stains and hairs on at least 7 different sheets and duvets. The manager visited our room 3 times and went to the hotel laundry room 3 times to find clean bedding. I eventually had to accompany her to the laundry room and go through the laundry with her in order to secure clean bedding! This meant climbing over and around the hotel's dirty laundry baskets and piles of sheets. I then had to help her make and remake our bed several times before finally acquiring a clean set of laundry. Even then my husband and I were forced to sleep under two separate single duvets because, apparently, there were no clean, large-size duvets left. This whole process was very stressful.Given the droplets of blood I asked if there could be bedbugs. The manager replied that they check for bedbugs weekly. I wasn't reassured by this reply given the amount of stained laundry. We asked for a room change and were told they had no empty rooms. We were not able to sleep properly after all this stress and worry. We reported such but both the night manager and morning staff refused to give us a discount. They indicated that we'd have to argue our case by writing the customer service department. This is ridiculous and an insult! We should have been offered immediate compensation in the form of a discount. We shouldn't have to argue our case with a third party when staff onsite were well aware of the problems.
Review 6:How the security lock on the doors to our floor did Not always lock behind us. This keeps you alert, as your security is compromised.
Review 7:Food clean room and easy route back to airport Good service
Review 8:Staff in perticular New member of Staff on Duty that confermed my reservation and was very informative
Review 9:getting bothered whilst at dinner by group of other people staying trying to chat us up
Review 10:very comfortable had all facilities required for a business trip would use again without thinking about it
Review 11:After being stranded at Heathrow due to fog, we booked last minute at this hotel. We had no bags, no toiletries & 2 very tired small children. Hotel staff couldn't do enough for us, we're very accommodating & the service was amazing.
Review 12:Pillows!
Review 13:Loved the staff everyone was so friendly and helpful - location tricky!! Pillows not at all as comfy as other premier inns we've stayed in though
Review 14:Not a dislike, but would have liked the option of a gym, but certainly not a deal breaker.
Review 15:Friendly, helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble. Very nice room, clean, very comfortable and tidy. Well maintained to a high standard. Free wifi in all areas and the option of having dinner for a great price. Service station for petrol behind the PI if needed.
Review 16:No real negative otherthan can hear doors in corridors . Sound proofing would be ideal but what do you expect for a budget hotel.
Review 17:The breakfast. Fresh fruit and hot breakfast. Good as a 5 star.
Review 18:Paying £8.00 for car park on top of not cheap price for stay. Had to wait about an hour for dinner in restaurant after ordering
Review 19:Close to heathrow. Staff helpful
Review 20:I did not like the porage that was served to me, it was like liquid. I could have drunk it, I only ordered it once, as I do like my porage, I have it every day. But that was the only dislike I had.
Review 21:I liked the hotel, staff. and service,
Review 22:The hoppa was late for my return trip to the airport. Not the fault of the hotel but there does not seem to be a public bus service option from this hotel.
Review 23:The staff and the food at the restaurant
Review 24:Food in restraunt was over priced and not even very nice I had the fish and chips and the fish was dry and overcooked
Review 25:location, friendly baby fox visitor, free wifi and the bath n shower
Review 26:Could have given better directions on website on public transport options from underground. Was not aware or hotel hoppa bus options which made transfers so easy
Review 27:The entrance has a machine to sell Hoppa Hotel tickets. Took my moneyand no ticket. Staff did try to help but National Express isworthless. Do not answer phones and their ticket office at Heathrowwill not do anything.
Review 28:There were plenty of staff who all gave excellent service & actively showed they cared about customer's needs & comfort. Great meal deal & the room was fresh & clean like new with comfy beds.
Review 29:Not free parking Told didn't need to book a table for tea. 20 mins later after dropping things in room we were told hr wait, at 9pm with v young chn. Room too small for 4 beds or 3 and a cot.
Review 30:Clean handy location
Review 31:There are no free shuttles at Heathrow. The bus ride took ages to get to Hotel....however was only a 15 ride in the opposite direction. Premier Inn is at the end of the bus circuit...however has the advantage of being closer on the return trip....hence only 15 minutes.
Review 32:Comfortable sleep and quiet room. We left on early flight so preferred to stay near the Heathrow terminals. Hotel was approx 15 minutes bus ride.
Review 33:Bed's mattress on its last legs. Toilet flasher unit not in good operating order requires few pumping actions to get just about enough to flash. Parking too expensive for guests staying in the hotel.
Review 34:Staff faultless, facilities, reasonable size TV in the room and the Wifi provided for the guests at not cost.
Review 35:Slow service in restaurant, high prices. Weird to pay for parking when it is not a down town location. Breakfast should be earlier, (starts at 7) and a continental breakfast should be included. $12 per person is too expensive for breakfast.
Review 36:Mmm, like is a strong word. I guess the reception and Managers are responsive.
Review 37:Additional £7 parking charge-cheeky! Receptionist did not remind me about this. USB port in room not up to recharging my iphone and as there were no information cards in the room booklet felt let down. Background music in restaurant was far too loud, so I asked a member of staff to turn it down which was a small improvement. However, by the following day's breakfast, it was up again! I was asked by at least 3 members of staff whether my b'fast was ok-please back off and leave me alone! No flight info in the foyer which is a surprise as we were less than one mile from Heathrow!
Review 38:Close to Heathrow Next door to a cheap petrol station Good evening meal Dark room Good soundproofing
Review 39:N/A
Review 40:Bed was comfortable a very goodnight sleep, would recommend to any one goin dwn South to stay at this prem inn not far from central if you have a car.
Review 41:Don't think you should pay for car parking for overnight stay. Should be free for residents and just charge for people flying on holiday .
Review 42:Bed was fabulous really comfortable. Food excellent as well. Shower great too .
Review 43:The only thing I was not too happy about was the fact that, even though we had paid for parking, we were lucky to be able to squeeze into a tight parking space, having returned late at night. Such things can be a problem especially if, like in my case, a person is travelling alone with two young children.
Review 44:Each and every staff member was so friendly, and acknowledged my children and I every time we walked past reception.Little things like that make a customer feel appreciated. The hotel was clean and fresh. Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. Will definitely return.
Review 45:Staff are so helpfull and pleasant never had such good service as this and that includes 5star hotels. Kids did not want to leave as they had such a nice time. Food in hotel was fantastic and very good value too
Review 46:The only thing we were disappointed in was the fact we had to pay a minimum £7 to park our car, surely if your staying in the hotel parking should be free, stayed in plenty of premier inns and this is the first one we had to pay to park .
Review 47:We visited this hotel as we took our grandchildren to Legoland, it was easy to find extremely clean and the staff were very friendly.
Review 48:Paying for parking. How crammed it was in hotel restaurant in evenings.
Review 49:Fabulous staff, couldn't ask for nicer stay and this was mostly due to the polite, friendly, assertive staff.Beds we're lovely, room size was good and our 1year old loved it!beer garden too to sit out and eat but no playground as such. Didn't matter as son enjoyed running length of it.
Review 50:Weren't made aware of the air conditioning, thought it was just a heater, so I was very hot during the night, even though the bed was extremely comfortable. If there had been a sticker of some kind above the controls it would have been more obvious.
Review 51:Arrived at 11.45pm staff friendly, helpful even though they were busy at that time of night. Children eat free.
Review 52:Parking is £7 but it's probably the lowest for the hotels around the area. Pay per view TV would be a great idea.
Review 53:The staff are very polite and always tell you about the 'good night guarantee' whether you are a regular customer or not. The rooms are always clean and the big bed is mega comfortable and there is good sound proofing. WIFI is great, but if you was a supper fast version you will have to pay extra but I didn't find the need. The free one did just fine. The restaurant is fantastic with great variety of food.
Review 54:I stayed with my wife and 2 kids to catch a flight next day , i booked a room with 4 beds however the bed i got was very bad and i couldnt sleep the whole night. I think the room was meant for 2 but they converted for 4 by putting extra bed with very thin mattress.
Review 55:OK Breakfast, very supportive staff, good location Good if you travelling along for business
Review 56:Had to wait longer for my dinner than the other peopel in my family. And i had to ask about my desert, because my kids already had eaten theirs but I hadn't gotten mine yet.
Review 57:Sound-insulation of rooms not ideal (problem was not aeroplanes, which we didn't hear at all(!), but noise within hotel)
Review 58:A brief (c. 9 hour) stay, but the hotel served its purpose in providing a reasonably comfortable, good value base for getting to Healthrow for an early flight. Regular shuttle-bus service.
Review 59:The reception staff allocated a normal room while I had booked a family room. In addition, the normal room did not have linen on the sofabed, it took them more than 30 minutes to provide the linen after I went to the reception for a reminder and having to talk to the manager on duty.
Review 60:The clean rooms and the food.
Review 61:Dinner was extremely slow, ordered at 8.30 and 1st course was 15 minutes later but 2nd course did not arrive until 10.20 by which time I was too tired to eat
Review 62:Very good reception and explanation of sleep policy.
Review 63:In truth, I was VERY disappointed that the hotel is not on any direct 'hotel bus route' when I tried to board at T4 I was told I would have to change from T5 before I could get to the hotel. I had a broken leg and was on crutches with 3 large suitcases and a 7 year old after a 12 hour flight. So I was forced to take an expensive taxi ride both ways... you should tell people of this inconvenience!!! I was not impressed.
Review 64:Once I got to the hotel everything was fine, staff very helpful, room comfortable (tho you could have had cartoon network on the TV!!!). The dinner in the restaurant was truly excellent, and meal deal is great value. and Breakfast was also very nice... a true Full English.
Review 65:Although we didn't have breakfast there, we did have dinner, and it was a delightful surprise! The restaurant was renovated last year, they told us, and the atmosphere, decor, staff, and food were all great!
Review 66:Location is bad since its infront of a cemetery , staff is helpful , the room sizes are fair ,cleanness is good, but bed sheets contain old stains
Review 67:Comfy stay at Premier Inn. I had a flight stopover and needed sleep! The room was modern and the bed was lovely, just what I needed! And the food in the restaurant was great too!
Review 68:For some of the staff I found their English poor and the dinner package cost was not explained well and ended up costing more than I was expecting.
Review 69:I was very impressed with the room and comfort/cleanliness generally of the hotel.
Review 70:Hotel resturant closed at 11;30 or 12:00 We were late getting in and I was so hungry, but their was only snacks in the lobby.
Review 71:Clean quiet and close to airport
Review 72:I had asked for a twin room but also requested a room not too far from reception as my wife is disabled. On arrival I had been allocated a double room. This was unsuitable as I was travelling with a friend. After much messing about a single bed was delivered to the room.
Review 73:The hotel should tell travelers how to get to them e.g. Take the H58 bus from terminal 5.
Review 74:The night clerk was marvelous, I arrived late and left very early. He absolutely could not have been more helpful
Review 75:My satnav seemed to think you were located on the slip road onto the M4 eastbound - not your fault, I know, but irritating!
Review 76:Restaurant. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality and value.
Review 77:fan in bathroom was extremely loud .
Review 78:Hotel staff was extremely helfyul, courteous and friendly. Best hospitality and sevice i have recieved in any hotel stay thus far.
Review 79:Quilts are just too hot. Need to get ones that regulate your temperature better, or give you a choice like they do with the pillows.
Review 80:Staff always friendly and helpful
Review 81:Sound proof could be improved. But you cannot have everything for the price I paid.
Review 82:This is a low cost hotel and you get what you pay for. Clean room, good bed, no frills such as toiletries and shaver outlet.
Review 83:Only disappointment was the restaurant wasn't open for lunch
Review 84:The staff were very professional and friendly. Rooms very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming and we would definitely stay again
Review 85:Just a place to stay to catch an early flight to Italy. The doors shutting to each individual room in our corridor were audible in our room, and continued through the night due to people catching planes at all hours. Never heard a plane though. And great to have an ATM in the dining room.
Review 86:Shuttle bus does not go very frequently - but for 2 or more people it makes more sense to take a cab anyway The restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner - we arrived at lunchtime - there is only a gas station in walking distance where we could buy something (or delivery service) Free internet was slow.
Review 87:Staff was very nice and helpful, rooms were modern, quiet and clean, dinner was very tasty (Indian), breakfast: good variety offered on buffet
Review 88:I could not find the hotel!! I could see it - but couldn't find the way in. Perhaps the local by laws do not allow signs to be put up.
Review 89:It was clean, friendly waiting staff.
Review 90:Pay for parking overnight- standard for Heathrow area hotels. Watch directions carefully to find the correct turn off on the M4 and roundabout junction.
Review 91:Clean
Review 92:My main issue is the quilts. They start off all snug but then in the middle of the night you get so hot you throw them off. Premier Inn is good a giving you a choice of pillows, but maybe if they invested in a choice of quilts or temperature regulating ones they would keep their air con/heating bills down too.
Review 93:Staff always friendly and it's a 'Lennys'. M4 can be noisy if you are on the wrong side of the building. No where to really 'go' if you were staying for several days. The restaurant is pleasant but small and a bit cramped.
Review 94:My only gripe would be that there should probably be a safety lock of some kind higher up on the doors. My 3 year old was able to unlock the door easily so a safety catch higher up could have prevented him getting out of the room
Review 95:Beds were very comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful
Review 96:Had to fight to let the hotel let me park there as i did not book a sleep park abd fly packafe, but sorted it in the end
Review 97:Close to airport good friendly staff
Review 98:Since you asked: two points: almost all of the yoghurts offered on our first day at breakfast had an expiry date of the next day; this was rectified, but only with another yoghurt 7 days fresher. The second point was a Cod & Chips dish which my husband ordered; at the end of the meal, when asked by our nice server, whether our meals were to our satisfaction, my husband said that he was disappointed that the cod was not up to the standard of a "real" fish & chips, that it tasted like a "fishstick", not a filet of fish as it appeared. This was not the fault of the Kitchen or the Chef, but rather a sub-standard catering choice for what should be a real English meal. To their credit, the Premier Inn Manager immediately apologized and removed the charge from our bill, which was unexpected but much appreciated. Excellent Customer Service!!
Review 99:I chose this hotel as I had stayed at a Premier Inn in Glasgow last year; the standards are high with very comfortable beds, good linens, modern bathrooms. The Staff in all departments (Reception, Restaurant, Housekeeping) were very attentive and helpful, especially when we had a couple of negative experiences with the Restaurant. Excellent soundproofing of rooms guaranteed us a very good sleep; we both liked the purple night light above the bed which helped getting our bearings in the middle of the jet-lagged night! Accessible by Heathrow Hoppa-Bus (UKP5 p/person each way or purchase round-trip for UKP8 p/person from dispenser at the hotel). Menus were in keeping with a value-based hotel chain; set-price buffet breakfast and enough variety for lunch/dinners/room service for all tastes; bar offered a decent choice of beverages, even a Happy-Hour from Mon-Thurs! We will choose definitely Premier Inn again! and
Review 100:It was difficult to find- if you put the postcode into your sat nav it doesn't take you to the hotel so make sure you get directions / look on a map to get the correct turning. Other than that nothing. Location is good for heathrow and you can get a bus from the hotel although you have to pay.
Review 101:The staff were very friendly, especially the girl who greeted us at the front desk. Bed comfortable, loved the mirror with light around it! Had everything we needed.
Review 102:You have to pay £7 to use the hotels car park - and the only way practical way to get there is by car. There is a £5 shuttle bus to the Airport but I didnt notice it on the booking.com website
Review 103:Close to Heathrow Airport
Review 104:The only downside was the domestic incident in the room next to ours which lasted well over 2 hour's, which resulted in the lack of sleep and the guilty couple being arrested at 3am!
Review 105:Friendly staff and very clean, good prices at the bar and a lovely breakfast
Review 106:Insufficient car parking spaces. Meagre supply of beverage making materials (but could request more at reception)
Review 107:Easy to find hotel and close to chosen airport car park. Very quiet despite being very close to M4
Review 108:Every night I used the hotel restaurant, as I was on business. The first night they told me it was fully booked until 8pm, I was a lone diner so asked if they would be a table available any sooner, they said no but they would ring my room if a table became available before 8pm. Arrived at 8pm to find the restaurant empty and the waiter saying it had been quiet all night. No one had called my room. The second night, the service was very slow, I waited 25 minutes for my dessert.
Review 109:Great rooms, very clean and comfortable.
Review 110:The service had to wait for more the. 10mins for them to open the door. No enough towels. I booked breakfast when I got there I was told no breakfast is included
Review 111:The only things I like was the goodnight sleep
Review 112:very hard to find a fault with this hotel
Review 113:Everything about this hotel is spot on, It's clean, the staff are friendly, the breakfast was good, the bed and pillows were brilliant, very hard to find a fault with this hotel
Review 114:No WiFi for my entire stay.Staff did not seem updated on status. One minute they had been told it was working the next they realized it was not. Shame as everything else was great.
Review 115:National express shuttle bus driver was very sour faced and didn't help with lots of luggage, maybe they could take a leaf out of hotels staff book!!
Review 116:When we arrived in early evening, myself and 2 teenagers and LOTS of luggage , the desk staff couldn't have been more helpful. First of all didn't interfere with a tearful goodbye to relatives dropping us off, then helped us to the room with our cases, along with another member of staff beckoned from the restaurant area. Happy faces making us feel well looked after. Clean and tidy room too with everything we needed for a relaxing bath and good nights sleep. Late checkout gives you plenty of time to not feel rushed at a busy time. Would definitely stay again.
Review 117:The room was directly opposite the door onto the floor and the house keepers cleaning cupboards, constant banging of doors through out the night. All they need is the slow close mechanism for the doors.
Review 118:Never been let down by premier inn before, but surprisingly dissapointed this time.
Review 119:No proper indication on how to arrive to the hotel (with the address on the website the nat/sat bring you front of it but on the highway)
Review 120:Room was really good and clean Breakfast was good Staff nice and friendly
Review 121:I know if I asked I would have been provided with more, but I think more tea, coffee and milk in the room would have been better
Review 122:Friendly helpful staff Room clean and comfortable Bar and restaurant good value for money with a lovely atmosphere Breakfast 1st class Location to Heathrow excellent
Review 123:Whoever trains the staff should take a bow. I stay at Premier Inns 2-3 times a week and here are the best staff for service, politeness, efficiency and attention that I have ever had at a Premier Inn, anywhere in the UK
Review 124:it would be nice to have a laundry on site or a laundry service..there were laundry services close by who did pick ups from other hotels in the area but not from ours.. :(.. otherwise there was nothing to dislike about this hotel.....
Review 125:The staff were all very friendly and eager to help anyway they could...they interacted with the kids and made them feel important.... the hotel was very clean and tidy and close to the airport but there was no airport noise noticeable. the Restaurant food was lovely and well priced...
Review 126:Beds less comfortable as in other Premier Inns, but still ok.
Review 127:Very friendly and helpful personell. Very easy to reach with Hotel bus shuttle from Heathrow Airport.
Review 128:Only a small criticism, there weren't any tissues in the room, only toilet paper, and in a family room in the winter time with a few snotty noses was not ideal!
Review 129:Hotel was clean & comfortable, we had a family room which had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice. All the staff we encountered were helpful, friendly & courteous, especially with our two young children who received a balloon each which made their stay!
Review 130:Music in dining room very intrusive in the evening. Had I had my partner with me who is deaf in one ear we would not have been able to talk as the ambient noise would have prevented him hearing.
Review 131:Location is good as last pick up to get to terminal but on bus long way from terminal in rush hour having dropped off at so many hotels. Reasonable cost. Attentive staff although being asked three times by three different staff if my steak was ok was a little over the top.
Review 132:I don't see why i had to pay for parking while staying at the hotel..plus i couldn't even pay cash for a drink..it all has to be paid by card..
Review 133:Bed was nice..nice an clean
Review 134:The receptionist went out of her way to be helpful, it was absolutely pouring down with rain and she got the umbrella out and walked me to my car so I did not get wet. I have stayed in much more expensive 4/5 star hotels and not got that, so keep it up well done!!
Review 135:After a busy day traveling the staff straight away were so friendly chatting to us. They ensured we were sorted to get to the airport in the morning and offered dinner and breakfast. The dinner was amazing, the best burger I have ever had! Such friendly staff and great value for money!
