Built on the panoramic slopes above the seafront, the Miramare is a hotel and bungalows complex situated at the peaceful Gargadoros. It features an indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools.
All accommodations at the Miramare Resort have a stunning view of the town of Aghios Nikolaos and the Mirabello Bay. Decorated in traditional Cretan style, each unit is air-conditioned with a large living space and satellite TVs.
A buffet breakfast is served daily in Miramare’s restaurant. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed on the large terrace with views of the bay. There is also a poolside bar and a lounge bar so guests can sip a refreshing drink poolside or indoors.

Review 1：It was a shame that the use of the tennis courts was charged as extra as the courts weren't anything special.

Review 2：It was in a beautiful location, rooms were lovely and spacious. Breakfast was good.

Review 3：Didn't think the room was being cleaned properly, especially, the bathroom floor and basin. Actually left toothpaste in basin and on the vanity as a test on it was not wiped away. No power point in bathroom. Sparce decor of rooms.

Review 4：Views were awesome. Dinner buffet was very tasty typical Cretan food. Private pool with our suite. The location of the big pool was stunning.

Review 5：Several pools, Aegeon restaurant and pool area especially. View excellent, location a long walk to town. Parking available-free. Be mindful of room location as many stairs. Wifi limited to lobby areas only.

Review 6：Had a sea view room and that was the only nice part. The room itself wasnot clean, the showerhead was dripping (could not be stopped) and thebath was dirty (stains). When I called about this, the concierge saidthere was nothing that could be done as all the cleaners had gone home.The floor had ants and the room itself was very basic. There is a chargeto use the safety deposit box and there is no wifi in rooms. Everyonehas to congregate in the lobby to get any wifi signal. Would notrecommend at all.

Review 10：Tricky to find first off. Very hilly so lots if stairs....but lifts also! Great local cafés from the expensive Piano Bar, to little local home cafés. Parking can be a drag but if you can go by foot everything is handy. We had 87 year old mum so access was hard some times due to slopes etc. local beach was divine but no seating....either on the rocks or on a tiny strip of sand....which I'm sure was the local kitty tray?!?? Water was crystal clear and wonderful temp even for late Oct.

Review 11：Our room looked out over the bay to the mountains......some stunning sunsets and sunrises. Facilities were spot on, rooms private and comfortable. We used this as a base to explore the East side of Crete. Lovely local village township with lots of cafés, restaurants and a lovely sea lake with fishing boats....gorgeous for a walk on the promenade. Local beach was a 2 minute walk with crystal clear waters ....but rocky shore! A great place to stay for proximity to everything...!

Review 12：Hotel is positioned between Agios Nikolaos town (15 mins. walk) and in the other direction, 5 minutes along a paved walkway brings you to a good, sandy beach at Almira Beach. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Free wi-fi!!

Review 13：We arrived and 2 min after someone was carrying our luggages and taking us to our room. What was our surprise when we saw in our room a bottle of local wine and sweets of the region waiting for us, so kind of them! Moreover, they gave us an incredible 2 rooms suite with big pool (we booked a room with little pool), probably the best room of the hotel! Decorated with style, comfortable, big bathroom, kingsize bed, everything was perfect. The hotel has an amaizing sea view anywhere you are and is calm, perfect to rest next to your private pool on sunbeds! 20 min from the center on foot, closer from beaches. Agios Nicolaos is a really cute town with in its middle a lake, perfect for nice walks and to hangout. We can just recommend it.
