Review 1：The end of the dinner is 8:15 pm... Whereas it is the beginning of the dinner in other hotels. The sheets were not really clean. The room and furniture look very old. Not modern at all. The soundproofing of the rooms is bad.

Review 3：Very hot room with no air conditioning. Many insects in room if the door was opened at night to let cool air in. Bed sheets were not fitted so they did not stay on the bed smoothly. Bath drained very slowly.

Review 5：The promised free Wifi did not work in the rooms so needed to spend my time in the noicy lobby where the others were watching tv, some others drinking. I should have worked in the evening but no possibility for concentration. I was very angry.... I arrived 9pm to the hotel and should have had dinner which was included in my room rate but receptionist informed that the restaurant is already closed. According to the hotelcard the restaurant should have been open till 10pm. No compensation for the missig dinner neither for not working Wifi. And more over, I had a booking for an other hotel but changed it because during the arrival they informed there is no Wifi. That's why I booked hotel Helikon. Could not believe my ears when heard Wifi is not working! It was too late to start looking still an other hotel so I stayed....

Review 7：Very misleading web site. Poor customer service, failure to maintain advertised facilities such as paddle boats (only one), rowing boats(only one) and sailboards (none -all parts missing). No indoor tennis courts. Broken step at main entrance. Steps to tearoom rotting and torn coverings. Lack of towels for pool and lake. Obsolete notices eg shop. Reception staff obstructive. Lack of "tourist" information about hotel and the town which is a very attractive holiday destination. Lack of information about security for valuables and pool locker keys.

Review 9：It is a horrible place! The worst hotel I stayed in. It is old, I thinkthey didnt even touch the hotel ever since they builded in ussr time.The staff if super slow. Nothing was working in the room, not the tv,not the fridge, and when we asked about ac- they just starred and said"What AC?" Horrible place!

Review 11：35 degrees celcius with no air conditioning and poor air flow resulted in quite an unpleasant night. Keeping a window open attracted a swarm of river mosquitoes as well. Wi-fi reception and speed were below standard. At 96€/night all this didn't make for a very good price/comfort ratio.

Review 17：The hotel is situated on the bank of Europe's largest lake, Lake Balaton. The hotel is forty years old this year, and like most of us 40 years olds, needs a little attention. But perfectly loveable!!

Breakfast & supper buffets generous with huge choice, plenty of fresh fruit & salads too. Pool great. Secure parking.

Review 20：The Manager was sooooo unfriendly. That is the opionon of the whole group. He was even yelling at kids. No idea who recruited this guy as a Manager there.

Review 21：The waiters and people at the reception were very friendly except the Manager. The rooms were old, but very clean. The food was also good. The rate is really good. Only the Manager ruined the mood of all guests as he was very unfriendly.

Review 24：I didn't like having to go to the lobby for wifi. Not having wifi in the room is an inconvenience that is easy to remedy.

Review 25：The location makes it a no-brained for tennis players. There is plenty of food at the buffet.

Review 26：I was really not appreciating the man on the beach, who was taken little arrangements with some people to pass the boats and water bikes to some people before another ones. The service in the restaurant is very slow, looks like the waiters don't want to serve you fast with drinks, in order you don't drink at all. Only the water is available on selfservice.

Review 27：The hotel is ideally situated next to the central beach of Kestzhely and not very far away from the famous castle. The hotel has it's own beach with all activities on it. The food was very good, but too much people for 2-3 plates, always have to wait in the queue. The personnel of the hotel is nice, but not really attentive to the people, specially the man on the beach is really unpleasant and even rough towards the foreigners. The room even simple one was quite nice and with new sanitary in it. The swimming pool is magic, and the only one nice person we've met in the hotel was the lady in the fitness room and swimming pool, thanks to her!

Review 28：Older staff were rude. The dinner at the first night gave me stomach cramps, there were no staff around to take our drink order. Facilities were outdated and shabby. The bedrooms looked liked they hadn't been refurbished since the hotel had been built.

Review 32：Hotel needs renovation. Everything is old including the room furniture. It was very noisy outside on Friday and Saturday. Nice to party, not too nice to sleep. Not too many people speak English. Food is not bad but not for the price you need to pay. Drins are too expensive.

Review 57：Weak wifi only worked in the lobby occasionally. (Wifi in the rooms would be helpful.) Male staff members have not been told that this is 2013 and not 1970 Hungary. Grumpy old men on front desk. Lobby area was sometimes full of drunk men singing louding for hours. Coffee was undrinkable.
