Inside the Golden Cape Natural Park, Hotel Lone features a terrace and a spa area. The hotel is 650 feet from the sea and a 15-minute walk from central Rovinj.
Built in 2011, all modern designer rooms at Hotel Lone have free Wi-Fi and a private balcony. They include all modern facilities, including flat-screen satellite TV and laptop safe. Every room has air conditioning.
There is a spa area with a hot tub, steam bath, sauna and massage room. The outdoor pool is shared with another hotel. It is surrounded by a spacious sunbathing area, and guests can also relax in a large indoor pool, which looks out to the lush garden.

Review 1：We were staying in the hotel for nye. The theme was The Big Gatsby,however the reality was different, something mixed between the RnR, Jazzand a bit of Gasby taste. The nye night was not moderated at all, andmusic was all but for dancing. The Eve was barely announced and apart ofa firework, not much of efforts were done by the hotel staff tocelebrate the night properly. This is what we were missing a lot, andthe staff was more concerned about their own appearance then the well-being of guest. The service was awfully slow, in particular in the nightbar, however, the staff at the coctail bar was much faster and helpful.At the night before we were invited to the night bar for a performancethat delaye for more than one hour and it started with a stripteasealthough we were told it Will be something else and some guests camewith the childern. Bad performance though. The bottom line - an averageservice for the nye night, low performance of staff (moderators andanimators, if any) and not the value guests would expect for money wepaid.Very pity and bad advertisement for the hotel.

Review 5：The rooms didn't have tea or coffee which 5 star hotels usually have. One day bathroom was badly cleaned (hair on the floor, dirty bathtub) but other days all was fine. Inside pool is too small, it was crowded and there were no more unoccupied chairs or beds.

Review 6：We loved kids club and activities for kids! Hotel and its surrounding is beautiful (pine trees, nature in general). Our rooms were also nice. Special thanks to a waitress in downstairs restaurant - she helped us with a baby while we were eating and was very kind. Food was pricey but excellent. Bravo to the chef, fish was wonderful!

Review 9：Constructive criticism. I checked in and was handed a spreadsheet of special events over the holidays. No explanation, direction, location, description, etc. of anything was provided on the paper. Also, location of breakfast, while fairly obvious, once you know where it is, also was not provided. So, the point being, the hotel guest would perhaps benefit from the hotel having a 5 minute "orientation", explaining all special events, location of facilities, restaurant specialties, etc....

Review 11：I can't ignore the mostly ignorant clientelle, utterly undereducated as how to use the spa facilites like turkish bath and the like,further, to my indignation, I even saw some clients in room slippers coming down to breakfast or even to the swimming pool and steam bath area! Further, there were noisy dogs in the hotel, you could hear them barking in the morning hours and in the lobby! Disgraceful!

Review 12：The location near the park Punta corrente is exceptional, the city centre is also not far away. I loved the lush breakfast and the sports facilities. The room I got was perfect, the hotel fulfilled my wishes, for which I am thankful. The staff were very kind!

Review 34：- the hotel is very badly designed (although it is called "design hotel") as being close to the sea, no rooms have full sea view (some have "partial" sea view). - we were offered a room "upgrade", which was large but very depressing and dark. We reverted to the standard room but the hotel tries hard to fill all rooms, so be careful with "upgrades". - we requested a room higher up and with a double bed, but ended up in the middle, with twin beds. - there is a lovely small terrace next to the breakfast restaurant but with only a few tables. If you are not early, there is no chance to sit outside but in smelly indoors.

Review 36：If I had to say one bad thing about our experience, it would be the noise of the night club and the inability to lower the room temperature below 23 degrees. The ocean breeze is nice with the balcony open, but you need to choose temperature or noise...

The location and hotel were perfect, as it is tucked away in the corner of Rovinj and just a short walk or bike ride to the down town area. The hotel provides bikes to guests on the weekend to ride down town which was really convenient. It is nice to be able to talk downtown to restaurants and tourist spots, then return to the secluded resort like atmosphere when you are done. The hotel is clean and modern and certainly gives you the feel that you are in a 5 star environment. The staff were all very friendly and most of them speak very good english and german for travelers.

Review 53：An amazing Hotel in the beautiful Rovinj. Fantastic and exceptional design of the main building and public areas surrounded by lovely gardens. Superb beach with crystal clear water and pool areas give you the chance to relax. We had booked a Premier Room and unfortunately it was not overlooking the beach but the back garden. When we asked if there was a room with beach view they explained that all Premier Rooms are overlooking the back garden but although the hotel was almost fully booked they offered us for free an upgrade to a suite with magnificent views. Rooms as the rest of the hotel are modern minimal with exceptional design. Even the back gardens view of the rooms is really nice and relaxing. We tried Restaurant L located in the beautiful gardens.Excellent food and amazing location with tables spread under the trees. Breakfast also excellent. No words for the service far above expectations Surely one of the best if not THE BEST hotel in Croatia. Do not miss it if in Rovinj.

Just one thing you need to know if you are planning to spend time at the sea is that it is public and there will be lots of random people there. These people can lack culture (leaving trash everywhere, smoking just in your face, etc.), but again there is a big chance you'll never meet them :)

Review 91：The Lone hotel is an architecturally designed modern hotel that still manages to feel comfortable and welcoming. It's cool, sleek, and very stylish mostly white theme contrasted with light timber accented rooms. It's set in beachside park and a pleasant 20 minutes walk to the old town. The outside areas and large pool are shared with a sister hotel next door and maitain the ultra cool style. There is a large park adjacent to the hotel and bikes can be hired for those who get sick of lying on the sun lounges by the pool or beach! The staff were friendly and very helpful especially Adele who made dinner reservations for us and gave us other tips for our travels in Croatia. Great breakfast and as we were leaving, the Sunday afternoon tea was being set up. For 50 kuna (about 10 Aussie dollars) you can eat as many cakes, pastries and other amazing sweet delights all centered around a theme as you can fit in and have a cup of coffee! Friday and Saturday night there is sushi and sashimi! We thought the hotel, staff, amenities, and our room were exceptional.

Review 94：Hotel is one of the best we visited, with 5 star service. Hotel rooms are gorgeous, cosy with big terrace and big bathroom (shower and bathtub, big mirrors, soft lights). Very modern design. Facilities ( swimming pool, gym,launge bar, outdoor swimming pool and garden) were clean with top service and polite staff. Many small details to make you feel well. Also I would recommend spa services (massages). Definitely will be returning to this hotel and Rovigno.

Review 95：The only real “minus” is the L restaurant, which is (or want to be) too exclusive and “destroys” the possibility of excellent Istria cuisine. The second thing is, that you cannot order choices of room service (like club sandwich) in E restaurant (my second time in this hotel and it was closed again) or lobby bar, but you must do it in your room or in before mentioned L restaurant ... makes no sense!

It's way overpriced and the service is a bit pretentious(white gloves for stainless steel cutlery?). They are trying hard sogive them a break. They'll catch on.

The rooms are verycomfortable and the staff try their best to help you when they can. Theprice for rooms is reasonable for such a fancy place.
