Review 7：There was no coffee or sweetner supplied after the last guests,the sideboards were very sticky,the curtains were dirty and musky,the water was luke warm so couldn't have a shower even though it has a caution sticker with hot water and when we were trying to check out there was no staff around and the doors were locked so had to leave our payment in a leaflet with our name and amount with our room number so we didn't have a very good stay whatsoever and won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

Review 9：The room was cold and unclean the shower was cold but all the rest of the taps dispensed hot water the handles where hanging off the door and the key was a poor fit to the lock and the electrics where faulty I couldn't switch the tv off at the wall
Review 10：Some repairs needed such as the dodgy lock on the bedroom (no10). It was very difficult to open every time. The bathroom door handle was very loose, almost falling off! The toilet seat was also very loose and moved sideways when we used it. The bedding was stained and crumpled although it smelled clean.
Review 11：Friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble, especially with us being vegetarians and they bought veggie sausages and mushrooms for us. Very welcoming to my husband's guide dog.
Review 12：I didnt like anythig, it was dirty, smelt and the travel cot that they provided for my daughter was appauling, there was no matress to it and her foot went through the bottom, the window was afire escape which when opened nearly fell off of its hinges, they ataff had an awful attitude, thats when you could find her .. i had to ask for clean towels on arrival as there was what only can be described as poo stains on mine, then the change of towels were even worse. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.

Review 14：Need a bit more cleaning I feel that before you get your guest a little clean up will do.Very dusty and dirty marks on most surfaces.No towels or shower gel in my room,until I asked for it the next day.blood and stained marks on duvet,not matching bedding,creased sheets.

Review 19：It's a very shabby old fashioned building, with dated decor. The location is very run down, we walked for half an hour and the nicest place to get some food was KFC (or at least the only place that didn't look poisonous). We also got woken up very early by screaming in the hotel and were met with a few police men and women on our way down to move the car to the rear parking area to avoid getting a ticket. The officers then arrested one of what sounded like 7 or 8 screaming guests.

Review 23：Could do with a good clean and new decor. The couple above us sounded like they were starring in some kind of adult movie which was something I then had to try and explain to my 6 year old so sound proofing maybe something to look into especially when they had a shower afterwards and it sounded like the water was coming into our room. One lot of bedding had a blood mark on the duvet, one set of bedding had pen all over the pillow case and towels felt damp so that needs looking into.
Review 24：Lady on reception was lovely. The room was a decent size and a lot bigger than expected. We booked it because it was the cheapest one so went with the view of you get what you pay for and that's what happened.
Review 25：The first plus is the location of this hotel. You can see the entire seashore from your room window. Next is the room, which is well maintained by this family. Very good service !!

Review 27：The Hotel was close to amenities, Manager very knowledge, friendly and helpful, nothing to much trouble, good value for money.Had WiFi and parking was available on a first come basis but local car park cheap enough to park all day and fee night parking.

Review 29：Dirty place, really scruffy, tired. Bedding old and marked. Very oldmattress. Inside kettle was green. Cups, saucers etc dirty. Floorsticky. Bathroom dirty, no hot water. Mirrors streaked. Toilet seatloose. Taps not working properly. Plugs unsafe. We weren't shownwhere breakfast was to be. Had ordered continental but decided to leaveand eat somewhere else as we couldn't stomach eating there. Otherresidents looked like they were either homeless, criminals, or had someform of addiction. Definitely not a holiday destination.

Review 45：Staff accommodated my late arrival. I was able to store my luggage for a few hours the next day. I walked to and from train station which was convenient for me. Nearby library had wifi.

Review 60：The smell when entering the hotel was awful. We were stood out in the rain until a man opened the door then he unlocked the lounge, took our money, locked the lounge door again and disappeared, he was the last member of staff we saw in our stay. There was NO hot water at any time and our fellow guests appeared to be on the councils homeless list.

Toilet set coming apart, flush lever splitting on cistern, tiles coming off by sink, water not hot for shower, bed linen ripped, no coffee in room only tea, wallpaper on ceiling coming off, double bed mattress can feel springs. Looked like some has spat on toilet door and it was left. Looking for a refund on what I paid. Wouldn't stay there again.

Review 65：Bed with stained sheets and leaned to one side slightly. Water only Luke warm. No bath towels only given hand towel which had really bad brown stains on. Cups were thilfy coffe/tea stains on the outside and one had sugar dried in the bottom. Poor lighting. Bathroom door hard to close due to rubbing on the floor.

Review 77：Staff who were covering were unfamiliar with the hotel. Rooms smelt musty & damp. Dirty stained bed linen. Dirty cupboards and flooring. Cold water shower. Noise from other residents very disturbing. Breakfast room dirty with some dirty cutlery that didn't match. Breakfast poor quality and looked as if it had been sat around fro a while, egg white was grey. Would never stay there again.
Review 78：It was dirty the wardrobe smelt awful and my wedding clothes smelt musty after being in it. The beds weren't clean there 2 as a couple fighting and arguing verbally being aggressive all through the night . Food was or and the whole place was in need of a clean. Nothing matched even the plates and cups didn't match. Poor standard worst I've ever stayed in I'm sorry to say. The girl working there was very nice which made it easier.

Review 80：The bed and bedroom furniture was in a poor state of repair we basically slept on the matress springs. The bathroom although clean was also in a poor state the shower tray over flowed and and cubicle door wouldn't close and ended in us mopping the bathroom floor after every shower. The cooked breakfast wasn't very nice at all. Staff presence was vertically non existent but we're available at the press of a bell and the television lounge was always locked. To sum up we probably won't stay at the Kensington again.

Nobody serving in breakfast room when we got there, had to locate staff. Crockery and cutlery was dusty and water marked. Cereal was stale. I could go on!!
