Reviews for Gästehaus Huber
Review 1:Wonderful accommodation which was clean, comfortable and picturesque. Silvi (the owner) is very friendly and loves what she does, she serves an amazing breakfast and cooks eggs to your liking as well as making home-made jams and cakes (yummy). The view from our room/balcony (2 sides) where beautiful and I would love to wake up to that view each morning. We had a car but elected to travel into Innsbruck by bus which was very easy, I would definitely stay at the Gausthaus Huber if I were to travel to Innsbruck again.
Review 2:Everything. The amazing views we have from the property, the friendly owner, the excellent bio and homemade products for the breakfast. There is a small shared kitchen you can use, there is a patio where you can relax. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Review 3:Silvia is all you can ask for a perfect vecation. Her taste, her breakfast, the cleanning, her hospitality.... There are not enough words to describe the feellings, you should go and see!
Review 4:Excellent reception by Silvia, extremely helpful all along our stay. Decor, cleanliness of the room the view and the flowered balcony Quietness delicious breakfast with home made and local products Discussions with Silvia (thank you!)
Review 5:Nothing at all
Review 6:The host family is amazing! We are given very good advice on how to explore Innsbruck. Best fried egg and homemade cake in the morning prepared by Silvia! stunning view overlooking the whole area! We saw a lot of stars at night and there is a large piece of green. Thanks lovely mother of host giving us oil for cooking our dinner!
Review 7:We stayed at Gastehaus Huber for 8 nights and we enjoyed each of them. The room was extremely comfortable, very clean, with many lovely accessories like hearts and edelweiss. Each day our room was cleaned and beds were arranged. Breakfast was generous, full of bio and healthy food. The breakfast room was beautiful and so was the terrace outside where we could eat in the morning. We are a family with a 5 y.o. son and we also used the kitchen for guests to cook for lunch or dinner. It has everything you need in it. But most of all, we appreciated the attitude of the family who owns the pension: positive, warm and open, always willing to help. When we arrived in day 1 at the pension, our son received a surprise present, a toy (small dog) that accompanied him each night in the bed. We traveled in the mountains around Innsbruck and Silvia always had a map and an advice to suit our needs. Thank you, Silvia, you are great !

Review 9:Everything about this place is spectacular with friendly service, clean, modern, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and a fantastic view to the mountains and Lurcerne to top it all off! The nearby restaurant (Kleisl) we went to for dinner was good regional food for a good price. We would have loved to stay longer!
Review 10:We really loved this bed&breakfast! A really nice room and even a kitchen for all guests. Very friendly host. Also really helpfull. Silvia gave us information about things to do around Oberperfuss/Innsbruck. Easy and quick response by Whatsapp :) Great breakfast with delicious homemade cake and local products. The room was cleaned every day (and every day a chocolat on our bed ;) We had a nice view over the surrounding mountains. We definitely would stay here again!
Review 11:Breakfast was awesome! There was healthy choice also. Best breakfast ever! Staff was great and helpful. Great views and easy to go trekking. All details was thought very carefully and with love.. you can feel and see it :)
Review 12:Really a lovely place to stay with gorgeous views of the mountains, super clean/ comfortable accommodations and lovely owners . As much as we could have asked for and more! Cant wait to go back again!
Review 13:Two times I had to re-load wifi router to have it working. It's easy.
Review 14:The location is perfect for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, regular biking too. It's very quiet, has a great view on the valley. It's in about 15 minutes driving from Innsbruck with its beauty. Accommodation is easy, rooms are modern , beds are comfortable. Everything is so clean and tidy. You can use a kitchen to cook in the evening. Breakfast is superb. I highly recommend.
Review 15:The Wi-fi didn't work at all, but I think it was because of the electricity problems which continued some hours during the day when we arrived. For us it wasn't a problem, because we had a lot of other nice things to do in Oberperfuss.
Review 16:Our stay in theTartu guest house was excellent. Clean and cozy room, wonderful view from balcony, opportunity to make some food in the common kitchen, delicious breakfast, the hostess was very helpful and pleasant
Review 17:You walk 10 minutes down the hill for dinner and ski lift is 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was biological and we were given complimentary mineral water, bread, milk, ham and apples on arrival. Very kind people.
Review 18:The guest house is at a top location, close to the airport, 10 min. walk to the center of the village (where you can find two restaurants and a big groceries store), and just next to the paths leading higher up in the mountains. The room is spacious, newly renovated, furnished in the best Tyrol style, with two large windows providing a spectacular view on the valley all the way down to Innsbruck. We loved staying on the large balcony, enjoying the sunshine and the view with a cup of tea. Breakfast is delicious –among others, you can find a different homemade cake every day! There is a fully equipped kitchen (even a dishwasher!), where you can make yourself something if you do not feel like going to a restaurant, and where free tea and coffee are available. Everything is always very clean and tidy, in every detail. But what we have most appreciated is the excellent service at Gasthouse Huber –something that you can find only in your own family or in a 5 stars hotel: We had a problem with our reservation and Silvia Huber solved it for us; one day she took us by car to the top of the mountain (the Oberperfuss cable had finished its service just the day we arrived), giving me the chance to have a longer walk, and finally Mr Huber gave us a ride to the airport on our way of departure. Strongly recommended!
Review 19:Comfy bed and quite room. Beautiful scenery. The Huber's are fantastic, very helpful. The breakfast is amazing, fresh homemade food, best ever! Definitely would come again!
Review 20:The bathroom is just next to your bed seperated by an opaque glass, you hear everything happen in the bathroom......
Review 21:Nice and helpful host with stunning mountain view from the balcony. Oh Yes, the breakfast is great.
Review 22:A family run guesthouse with a modern twist. Very nice rooms, good shower & a communal kitchen if you want to make yourself a little something. Breakfast was amazing, homemade cake, fresh coffee & so neatly laid out.
Review 23:This was definately the best place we stayed at on our 2 week Europe holiday. Sylvia and her whole family were so friendly, gave us so many tips on things to do, drove us around and just made us feel like we were part of the family. The city of Innsbruck is about 20 minutes away but we got a guest card upon arrival offering free buses to the city. The room was very clean and cosy and had the comfiest bed. The breakfast was 10 times better than I had expected, with freshly baked bread every morning. And the stunning view from the house! Everything was just perfect.
Review 24:That's a pity we stayed there only for one night... Definitely would come again! Great value for money - everything was perfect - room, breakfast, landscape and the hosts!
Review 25:Wifi dropped almost daily, but rebooting wlan box helped each time.
Review 26:Staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, kitchen facilities, free parking, vicinity to Innsbruck and ski resorts, atmosphere, newly renovated rooms.
Review 27:The Huber's were great and very accommodating. The rooms were just remolded and were clean and mordern. The view was amazing and it was overlooking Innsbruck. The breakfast was delicious and fresh.
Review 28:Lovely place to stay with super comfy bed and nice new rooms and bathroom. Sylvia was really helpful, will definitely return in the future. The house is a short drive up the hill with a wonderful view of the valley. Peaceful and calm.
Review 29:Nothing except we wished we could have stayed longer.
Review 30:We loved the location overlooking the city. The accommodations wereclean and newly renovated. The breakfast was exceptional--greatselection and many home-made foods were included. Sylvie went out of herway to make our stay fantastic. Our favourite place to stay during our 3weeks in Europe!
Review 31:- Bedding was a bit rough - Bathroom offers little privacy but for us this was not really an issue
Review 32:- Friendly hostess - Clean and attention to details - Very nice breakfast - Location & view
Review 33:In order to arrive there you have to drive on a very narrow road, so be careful !
Review 34:Although we had a serious problem with our car on the day of arr, Herr Huber made us feel relaxed with his " don't worry-be happy" and Sylvia looked for the nearest car workshop. We had a wonderful stay, the breakfast was delicious and our room was so cosy decorated. Sylvia is doing the best so everybody feels relaxed and happy to be there. Congratulation ! Stathis and Angela

Review 57:It was simply perfect. Beauty, peace, fun.
Review 58:Abso-freakin-lutely nothing.
Review 59:Liked everything...Especially the hospitality of Silvia and family. The room was in my opinion better than any 5-star hotel and I've stayed at a few, so I'm not kidding when I say that. Amazing location too. And the super-reasonable rate. It was almost unbelievable. I'd say a must stay if you plan to be in the area.
Review 60:The hospitality of the owners. Personally sent us on 10 minutes uphill car ride for us to start the mountain hiking and ensuring us got safely back. Provided us with a lift back to the train station in Innsbruck after ending our stay there. Taxi ride from Innsbruck cost 35 Euros but they mentioned if we call them earlier, they may pick us up from the train station. Breakfast is excellent. Room is nicely decorated with spacious balcony.
Review 61:Definitely a room for intimate lovers. The toilet is behind an opaque sliding glass door. If you want to empty your bowels in privacy - you have come to the wrong spot.. :)
Review 62:The last house in a remote village. The road leading to the house is exactly the width of your car. When you park, and sit for a while , you can hear silence and birds singing - something you have not heard for a long time if you are a city dweller. Near the narrow road just beyond the house is a wooden bench - and a wooden cow water trough with permanently flowing water - opposite the view of the whole valley as far as Innsbruk, and the mountains around. Inside, the house is immaculate. The breakfast buffet is to be admired. The beds comfortable, with feather down pillows instead of foam rubber. Modern funishings, minimal. Nothing overbearing,. Everything enough - but perfectly enough. Including the views from the windows and balcony. Thank you, Bernie and Sylvia, our hosts. We enjoyed staying with you - very much.
Review 63:My only concern was that I tend to like a little more privacy for a bathroom. They had renovated an older home very well but had placed the toilet and shower within the same space as the bedroom. The toilet has frosted glass but I still sent my husband to the balcony when I had to go...ha. This wouldn't be a concern for most people I'm sure! Regardless of this I would still go back a million times - I loved the charm of this home!!
Review 64:We showed up and a very sweet older lady opened the door and handed us a card that said she didn't speak any English and that her daughter-in-law would be there in 5 minutes. Even though we couldn't communicate much with this older couple that owned the house (as we didn't speak German), we could still tell they were wonderfully sweet people. Their son and daughter-in-law were wonderful. They suggested a hike that we did the following morning - the view everywhere here is breathtaking. We were in Europe for 2 weeks - this was the cheapest hotel we stayed in by far and it was most certainly my favorite. Their breakfast was absolutely delicious!
Review 65:We had a really nice stay here with our friendly hosts. The view is really nice, the breakfast was great and the room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Thanks so much.
Review 66:Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review 67:The owner was amazing, so very nice and English was great. Wi-Fi wasbrilliant & the breakfast was fantastic. The view from our room inthe hotel was 10/10, overlooking Innsbruck and the surroundingmountains. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for our timein Austria! Thank you!
Review 68:Great place - a family run house, with very nice hosts. The house has been just renovated, it's very clean and fresh. The breakfasts are really good and wifi works in the rooms with no issues. Although you might need a car to go to the city if you're not a fan of walking (Oberperfuss or Innsbruck) i really recommend this place.
