Review 1：Far from downtown. Spa is not sufficient, pool is not warm, jaccuzzi is cold. Steam room and sauna is ok. Breakfast is not rich. Alacarte menu is expensive. 1 beef dish, 1 greek salad, 1 coke and water is 33€ and I also didnot order greeksalad. I ordered code fish dish and got greek salad instead and them I got still hungry. :(

Review 2：I've been many times in Egnatia hotel. This time I was with a group of friends and they loved it very much, the staff, the sea view, the breakfast , the cleanliness of the hotel - everything is perfect. We'll stay again when in Kavala.

Apparently we missed out on the fineprint and were stupid enough to think they were allowed in our presence. I do hope the homepage will be changed soon!

Review 19：The location with great mountain and sea views from the rooms and the breakfast area. A short and inexpensive taxi ride takes guests into the centre. The ladies at reception and Elena in the breakfast room. Excellent housekeeping. Spacious, comfortable rooms. The price I paid (I booked well in advance) was very reasonable indeed.

Review 26：The location of the hotel is very unique,but I recommend you if it is possible to stay in a seaview room and you will get the magnificent view of the city of Kavala and Tassos. Thanks to the best weitreses Eleni and the weiter Leonidis for there profesionality and best attitude,they make our stay even better.

Review 27：Poor WiFi. In fact I was not able to use it. Only one set of bathroom toiletries for 2 persons. Far from city center, which was not an issue at all as I was aware of this at the time of the booking and because the taxi is about 4-5 Euro one way, if you do not always want to use your car . We had not hot water in one of the days-just returned from the beach and at least for one hour while we waited-no hot water.

Review 28：We were in a room with sea view, which although at the lowest floor(floor # 1 which is a lever below the reception) had a magnificent view. The open roof floor restaurant is wonderful-tasty food and stunning view. The whole hotel staff were very polite. My overall feeling is very positive.

Review 29：Staff is really rude and arrogant. Service is too slow, behaviour of the staff was really bad. We have been staying in this hotel since 2013 but we will never come again. Staff needs to be change immediately.

Review 30：The hotel is a bit quaint, with some modern accents. There was a big Mp3 player in the room, but it looked very dirty, they'd better remove it because it doesn't make a good impression on the guests. The sink didn't seem very clean either.

This was a disappointment as we hadstayed in the sister hotel (Alexandroplous) 6 month previously & thebreakfast was superb - constantly refilled with fresh & hot food.The 'fitness' room was barely 'fit for purpose'comprising a Static Bicycle, 2 running machines & a few handweights. The Spa area overly hot & a bitter disappointment to findthat you need to pay the Spa Entrance Fee to use the pool.

Review 44：Reservation was for double bed or 2 twin- I was asked an extra charge for the two twin. Description of inside pool is not very accurate as the pool is "part" of the spa and hence an extra charge is required to use the pool. Finally, the pool is not allowed for kids of 10 and below!

But the hotel is really OK. I would like to note in particular the staff at reception. They had a very friendly attitude. were very pleasant by the expression and always was smiling. Review 49：At 1am our electricity cut out my husband called room service who said they would deal with the problem. We were left in the dark for an hour and had to go to the floor above to use toilet facilities. No one offered us alternative lighting. On checking out I explained our grievance to the receptionist who replied only with "I understand".

Review 56：The hotel staff is very helpful, the breakfast - and the view - is excellent. Even in a room to the main-street it is quiet to sleep due to double doors for the balcony. The location of the hotel is perfect to drive every day to a different beach in the region. Not to mention that for first timers, as we were, the hotel is very easy to find.

Review 57：The hotel location is quite far from the center and the sea / beaches, if you dont have your own car or rent one. Unfortunately at chapter cleaning they have to work significantly. A lot of dust in the room, bath in poor conditions, unclean shower cabin, a strange smell in the room and the hair dryer is very old and barely works. You should be aware that the rooms are different, in the sense that some are new and some are outdated, in some of them everything is impeccable and the others not.

Review 58：The balcony view over the city, the Aegean sea and Thassos island is absolutely spectacular. Breakfast is varied and good quality. Excellent value for money, free wi-fi, breakfast included, a wonderful view.

It is a huge effort even to learn the name of a good restaurant in the city, let aside the famous Greek hospitality we have experienced in other 10.
