Review 11:Judith the owner is fantastic. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are clean, modern and airy. The village is gorgeous. This is how all B&Bs should operate. Lovely.
Review 12:Previous owner decoration was a little amateurish but functional.
Review 13:Room size, cleanliness, breakfasts, fresh milk and friendliness ofowners was brilliant.
Review 14:Hosts Judith and Bob Archer were very friendly. They provided excellent breakfasts to order and also added some personal touches like "real" milk left by the door each afternoon and lovely treats in our room. Very attentive, welcoming and friendly place to stay. Highly recommended. Many thanks Jane and Martin Clancy, Australia
Review 15:Water pressure low in shower if you did not want a bath, but nice bathroom.
Review 16:Warm inviting and friendly hosts. Quiet road, great breakfast, good and comfortable amenities. A beautiful little town.
Review 17:Bed was a little on the high side, which made it hard to get into for a short person like me, but this is nit-picking
Review 18:Comfortable B&B in a quiet location, just off the main road of Pately Bridge, run by a friendly family. Great breakfasts, using excellent local produce.
Review 19:Can't think of anything.
Review 20:Nothing was any trouble. Judith and Bob gave us an unforgettable stay. The welcome, the breakfast, the sweets, the room, the beds - all perfect.
Review 21:All good.
Review 22:Owners, Judith and Bob, are really friendly, welcoming and competent hosts, without being intrusive. Nothing is too much trouble for them because they want you to have a good experience at Roslynn House and it is first class. Bob's breakfast is terrific and you won't need lunch. The rooms are quite large and very comfortable. It is a really good value B&b and we'll certainly stay there again when next in The Dales.
Review 23:Felt the ensuite bathroom was a bit in need of up updating and refurbishment, which I am sure the news owners will tackle once they have settled in. The extractor fans were noisey and the sound travelled from other rooms late at night.
Review 24:Comfortable beds, lovely breakfasts, great staff and a warm welcome. Everything we needed was there in a perfect location.
Review 25:Virtually everything: great location, great accommodation, friendly owners, excellent breakfast. A highlight of our cycling trip across Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Review 30:judith and bob had taken over from liz and lawrence thew day we arrived we think they did a great job made us very welcome despite them being very nervous.keep it up guys well done
Review 31:The stay at Roslyn House was slightly marred by a slightly pungent smell. This was brought to our attention by the owner before we entered our room (bedroom 1) stating that unfortunately they were fully booked during the first night of our stay and that if we wished we could be moved for the following evening. the smell was not constant but probably was drain related. As the smell was not constant we chose to stay in the room for the remainder of our visit although it did occasionally re-appeared.
Review 32:It was hard to get the shower to a stable temp. However when it was stable it was grand!
Review 33:Owners are great hosts and the breakfast was incredibly good! of

Review 42:Nothing of any consequence
Review 43:Best of all was the fact that the bathroom extractor fan, stopped running when the light was switched off instead of droning away for 20 minutes or so!
Review 44:Nothing to comment on
Review 45:our room was lovely bright and airy with smart décor , the walk in shower and bathroom were nicer than some 4* hotels we have stayed in ,the bed was very comfortable with the option of extra pillows which helps when you are used to more than one at home, the house was quite with no noise from other guests even though it was full ,after a good nights sleep we where treated to a superb breakfast lots of choice and tastes catered for the full English was excellently cooked to our taste and the choice of more given though not needed we didn't eat again till evening it was so good . Review 63:The owners: Wonderful The house: I wish! The location: Ideally situated The food: You've got to believe this The room: No 5, lay off!, it's mine Eat local: No problems, but you will put on weight.
Review 64:Everything was wonderful, the closest we have found to a perfect place to stay.
Review 65:The ambience was perfect, it was such a relaxing place from the moment we arrived until we reluctantly left. It was Kathy's 70th on the Saturday, and they added to our enjoyment by setting up a bottle of Champagne for our return from watching stage 1 of Le Grand Depart. We had cycled to Ripley to engage in the excitement that made Yorkshire buzz. After the peleton had sped by we cycled back to Pateley Bridge, and as I answered a phone call I foolishly left my rucksack behind on the verge, and noticed several miles further on. A helpful motorcyclist went back to look twice, but couldn't find it. I was getting realy worried when Liz pulled in. A wonderfully kind Yorkshire person, had found it and phoned her, as it had our room key in it. Liz had driven immediately to get it, and stopped to reassure me. After the delightful bubly, we had a wonderful meal at the Sportsmans' Arms. Next day we drove and walked to a rock above Blubberhouses, where we could see the whole climb and greatly enjoyed the longer view, and the company. Still brilliant waether! Liz & Lawrence had said we could come back to change, so we eventually left at 3pm to drive north through exotically remote moorelands with fantastic views and very old villages. A totally wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
