Review 1：The location isn't so near from the centre. So, it is better to have a car with you.

Review 15：Rooms are furnished with old furniture. Furniture was not worn but it looks like from the 80's. It would be nice if there is a small pool for children. The hotel’s beach is covered with coarse sand but the entrance to the water is unpleasant, with large stones. Hotel Pallini has much better beach. Sunbed is charged EUR 2 if you are not full board customer. Pool bar has high prices, espresso costs EUR 3. The elevators are always full and there is usually long waits on them. From the 1st of September hotel was much less crowded, though.

Review 16：Sea view rooms have stunning views of the pool and the sea. The garden is very beautiful and perfectly maintained. The hotel has its own parking lot and much of it is in the shade. Breakfast and dinner are good, the food is varied and delicious. Every day there is mini club for children with various activities (drawing, making hats, face painting). In the evening there is mini disco for children. Hotel also has a nice playground for the kids, in the grass next to the beach. All in all, it was a pleasant stay but feels a bit overpaid.

Review 17：Unfortunately for us, the customers, it’s the place where we’re humiliated and this is done by the people are working there; I presume they forgot “who’s paying who”. I’ll explain with facts:- Arriving, for a 10 days lodgment, I found the room (a nice superior one) without one (of the two) folding door to the wardrobe (see pictures). I requested to the reception desk to fix the problem or to change the room. They told me they have not another room but they’ll fix the problem. By the way, both neighboring rooms, in left and right, were not used the first day (it was not difficult for me to see it) and the problem was not fixed even the next 10 days, so we had the possibility to admire our underwear every day without restriction;- My son’s single room was an old “cave” with an old and damaged AC system having two “working” positions: switch on or off. And this, of course, for all inclusive treatment;- When I booked the wireless connection was available for the public places but, in fact, more than 5 days it was not working and after that the public place was 10 – 15 sqm in front of the reception desk and the connection was really bad;- The treatment is including for all inclusive also a “variety of snacks” and this it means pizza or cheese pie. The cheese pie it was available only after the noon, so if you don’t want to go to the restaurant (and, trust me, this is not the nicest place) for the breakfast, you’re able to eat the same pizza every morning. The same, if you want to spend more time on the beach or to the pool, you’ll be able to eat the same cheese pie every afternoon. (Last year they used to offer a late breakfast to the pool bar but for this year probably they thought it’s too much.) More than that, in order to have these “variety of snacks” you have to rest to the table and to order them to the waiter but this waiter is just one and you have to wait to see you…(By the way, I spent here 7 holidays during the last 10 years.

Review 18：The place and the sea.

Review 19：I was travelling with a 16 year old. All in: 290 € a day. Food & drinks were appalling for that price. Hotel built in the 60's, renovated 30 years ago, very outdated. It targets specific customers: 78% Russians - staff particularly unpleasant. I thought I was in Bulgaria. I could not imagine spending 13 days in that place. Sought and found something much better on Day 2 of my stay. Hotel policy is to make you pay for the entire stay on arrival. I paid half the price and had to negotiate with Head of Reception for reimbursement. Was forced to pay one night's worth of cancellation fee. DO NOT GO TO ATHOS PALACE!

Review 20：Generally we found staff to be pretty rude, there were one or two members who ok. For what we paid 250 eur for 3 nights the quality of finish of the room was poor, in need of a drastic update. After pulling back the AC cupboard as we found it to be warm in the room we found the filter hadn't been changed in possibly years. Wouldn't recommend.

If you want class, try the touristically developed island resorts in southern Greece instead.

Review 24：Bad food, bad service, No internet connection in the room, just only in receiption area with very slow rate, lift was not working in the first floor, rooms are not clean, AC is unsufficient, no informatin given about hotel when you check in, so you have to find out everything by yourself like how to get towels, how to get to pool and beach, how to come to restaurants etc.

Review 26：AC doesn't work and this will ruin your vacation! Although we opened the balcony door, it was still too hot. When you keep the door open, it's too loud because of the bar across the road until 7 am. We couldn't sleep at all! Breakfast finishes at 9:30 am so we never managed to have breakfast either. Elevators are super old, noisy and slow. One of the elevators didn't have lights in it!

Review 51：Hotel is very good located (2 km from Kalithea), and had beautiful gardens. Even it is a old building it is very clean inside. Staff was very correct and professional, food was very good with different kind of foods and they bring fresh food all the time.

Review 52：Although it was emphasized on the booking.com that the hotel has free wifi but we did not connect in the hotel rooms. Even in the lobby there was not free wifi. When we asked the personnel why the internet was not working they did not care and just said 'there is an internet problem in Kallithea region'. During our stay we connected to wifi just two times. Uzo was serviced with wine glasses in the restaurants and when you asked the personnel to bring uzo glasses they did not. Kallithea is a good place but i did not like this hotel at all.

Review 53：Although it was too crowded, we did not wait in the restaurants. The sea and beach was good. Meals were fair enough.

Review 54：Wi-fi in 2013 at this hotel is charged 5 euro per hour/20 euro 24hrs.Its not possible to have it in room,neither to beach only inreception. 2 last days the Wifi has gone due to technical problems. ForBooking customers Wifi its for free,for normal customers its payable.Howstrange is that? Wifi should be free and everywhere in the hotel as mosthotels offer. Room should be with tiles not with that cloth for floorwho keep moisture ,sand,and dirt. Elevator too crowded and busy all thetimes,no ventilation. Restaurant too crowded,medium quality of food.Thebuilding has a strange decoration not to everyones taste,i felt I was inIndia not to a beach seaside hotel. The beach party would be better andgreater if they can use better sound and light technology.

Review 56：- Staff were not very friendly, they asked me on dinner "are going to eat all that" when I took 5 pieces of sweats for our entire table (not just for me)- I hate it when hotel pull tricks on you. For example NO COOLING in restaurant, and no free drinks, and then you get charged 2 euros for a glass of water or 7 euros for a glass of ouzo. Ridiculous. - umbrellas and sunbeds cost 7.5 euros at beach, even for hotel guests. Ridiculous once again. - rooms have no real air-conditioning, and furniture is a little bit old - all meals in restaurant are TOO crowded, because staff want to get you out quickly. They closed a huge section of the restaurant, and forced guests to find place in small area to make them leave quickly - parking is too small, you have to park on unpaved area most of the time

Review 63：Great place and great holiday. Athos Palace is one of the nicest hotels we ( I and my buddy) stayed. The staff at reception is very friendly and considerate. So be ready for good surprises from the first day. They upgraded us to sea view room even we reserved a Mountain View room. The rooms are large enough and have a wonderful view with a comfortable balcony. The hotel land is large but there are so much green areas and flowers all around. The swimming pool is pretty big and clean surrounded with free chaise lounges and umbrellas. There is another hotel Pallini next to it and you can use their beach as well. The food is delicious and the service is pretty good for a 4 star hotel. The staff is very friendly, we communicate with staff like friends which is mediterranean way, and they also behave us like friends. If you would like to have fun, try to be friends with them, you will get the best fun and unforgettable memories. We had some concerns because of some negative comments I red on web before we arrived there but we have seen that those are just exaggerated comments. It’s definitely worth for the money you pay for this hotel and I highly recommend for a great holiday to remember. The only minus thing i realized that there were not enough energy plugs in the room which is not a big thing. The reception manager lady Desi is great and very kind person, she always listen us , try to solve if any problem and also shows very sincere hospitality . I feel she likes her job a lot and therefore she is always helpful. Now, we are planning to go there second time in august.

Review 66：Be aware that Wifi is not for free - I found it relaxing, and you can get one hour for 5 euros, 2 for 8 euros and 24 hours to be used within 20 days for 20 euros which is fair enough.

Review 67：Hotel is clean and it may not be brand new, it is well maintained. Room is sufficiently big, the place itself can be described as spacious with a beautiful garden, there is enough space at the beach and pool. Large pool, sufficient parking space. Fresh bedlinen every day.

Review 68：Athos Palace is a very nice hotel. We had one large room with balcony and magnificent view. Although the hotel is big, there are many different areas, a lot of green and there is a huge swimming pool. The beach is fantastic. Warm welcome, staff always available and very kind, especially at the reception (they upgrade us from Mountain View to Sea view) and the restaurant. Food was excellent, buffets were full, even a few minutes before restaurant closed (we were always late, we had halfboard). Excellent value for money. Although we were worried about some comments we have read, we find that these are unfair and we were very satisfied with our stay.
