Reviews for Hotel Hvolsvollur
Review 1:We had to let ourselves in as there was no staff in the hotel. Subsequently, the bar and restaurant were closed causing us trouble to find something to eat late on a Sunday evening.
Review 2:Rather dated and not much sound insulation. Dining area/bar not very attractive. Price was steep compared to other places we stayed on the trip, but as we booked late there were not many options.
Review 3:Clean room, comfortable bed, good wifi, nice staff. Breakfast good. Location convenient for traveling to the south.
Review 4:The manager was quite gracious. He greeted me by name upon arrival and took great care to make sure we were comfortable and well fed. It was a lovely experience.
Review 5:As any hotel in Iceland the end cost ,but was one the best we've tried upto now they didn't remember my birthday !! But the other half didn't communicate properly
Review 6:A la carte menus ,nice room ,very nice food ,not rushed , great staff
Review 7:The TV channels were only two: one with only advertisments and the news channel with a too weak signal.
Review 8:In the shower there were several shelves were we could put our bottles. Excellente! Very nice and helpful staff. The room was calm and quiet and we slept well.
Review 9:The hot tub was inacceptable: old and dirty. The hotel is dominated by travel groups which leads to a very touristic atmosphere. The view out of the window of the room offered a construction site of a neibourghomg building.
