Review 1：We had a great time! The staff was very polite and helpful, especially Eleni who took the time to show us on the map all the "must go"' places on the island. Clean and green, beautiful palm trees.

Review 2：Great location with some really nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. One of the best beaches on the island just a stones throw away. Lovely staff, room and surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

Review 3：Nothing about the hotel itself. However we didn't like so much the beach in front, Agia Paraskevi, thus we always went to Koukounaries. Also the surroundings are a bit boring and dull. We stayed in Skiathos town afterwards, which is a bit more lively.

Review 5：As we've stayed here before,we tended to compare it to the season when Demitris, George and Stefanos were here, which wasn't quite the same atmosphere this time, but otherwise the rooms were very clean, Stella was very incredibly helpful and plenty of very good Tavernas around, We'd recommend Jimmy's, which is slways good food and service.

Review 12：We stayed at Ostria for a week and enjoyed the hospitality offered by Sophia and her family. The beach, tavernas and super market are all within walking distance, while access to Skiathos town and other beaches is very easy as the hotel is located close to the main road. The beautiful landscaped gardens and slight offset from the main road made for a quiet and relaxing stay, exactly what we were looking for.

Review 18：We really wanted a relaxing holiday with good food and drink as we both work long hours. This really was a lovely hotel in a great location. Anna the owner is lovely and makes you feel really welcome (nothing is ever a problem). The pool area and rooms are lovely. Breakfast is basic but the staff always try to vary this and much better than the breakfasts I've had jn Greece before. The rooms are lovely, individually decorated, balconies are roomy and the beds comfortable. Daily cleaning service. We would definitely return.

Review 20：the Ostria apartments are ideally located. Away from the main road but within a few minutes there are tavernas, the beach and the bus stop into town. The studios are spacious, there's always hot water and they are immaculately clean. There is a lovely pool with comfy sunbeds. The apartments are surrounded by grass, fruit trees and gardens. The bar is good though a bit quiet. Breakfast was good, quite a lot of choice and lots of tea and coffee. Lovely staff and friendly family.

The large garden surrounding the hotel together with the nice and clean swimming pool, offer an ideal place for family vacation. Don't miss the Greek dinner/night organised by the staff! This is a "must stay" in Skiathos. Ideal for families and couples (quite & relaxing).

Review 57：The Ostria is a fantastic choice. If you read reviews, people return year after year and I can see why; we will. We are a group of friends with children and we all had a wonderful and relaxing time and especially loved the pool area in the day. The apartment is basic but spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The towels and bedding seemed to be changed every other day. The balcony is large with a beautiful view. The surroundings are peaceful during the day and night and the views are beautiful and green. The pool area and gardens are very well maintained and there's plenty of space and grass for children to play, whilst allowing the adults to relax. The staff are very friendly and it's a typically family run Greek affair, they do what they can to ensure you have a lovely holiday. All the staff were brilliant, especially Sophia, Anna & Dimitiris who are knowledgable about the island. We ate there a few evenings and also in the day too. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and good too. The Greek night with live music on Tuesdays was good too. Would recommend you go to this. The buffet breakfast was extremely good too for Greek standards and the setting is lovely; in shade under the trees, around the pool on the patio or inside in the cool. Hotel location is superb. Ostria is right outside the no.16 bus stop; in between 2 supermarkets; 2 min walk to scooter hire; opposite one of the best beaches on the island and amongst many different tavernas and restaurants. Overall, the Ostria is very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will also return.

Review 58：One of the poorest breakfast I ever had in a hotel. Very tiny bathroom with no shower cabin or curtain. Wifi was slow and during our stay it worked only within the breakfast/ reception area. Our room was situated at the far end of the hotel building and there was no transmission there. The beach is a short walk from thehotel. We were only a 15-20 minute drive from the farthest beaches -worth the drive! We were surprised to find Ostriaalso has an awesome bbq restaurant - very popular with locals andunderstandably so as the food was delicious! Wait staff as well as therest of the hotel staff are super friendly, polite, and accommodating.Pet friendly!!

Review 62：We had a wonderful week. The family and staff couldnt do enough to help, and the fact that most of the other guests were repeat visitors gives you an idea of what people think. Breakfast was nice, the pool is superb, rooms are fairly basic but exceptionally clean. We had a very large balcony, and a small kitchen area that again was basic but very clean and did the job. The beach is 2 minute walk away. Yes, you have to cross a road, but its not the M1! (We had a 3 year old and a 1 year old in a pram and it wasn't an isue, so don't let that put you off). The area has a good choice of restaurants and there is a decent sized shop run by some championship level smokers. The beach is really nice and wasn't overcrowded. There is a snack bar and a small shop selling drinks, crisps, and beer etc. There is also a small water sports operation that hire boats out for the day - its not cheap but is well worth doing as you can then tour the islands beaches or head off to the other small islands across from Skiathos town. We would strongly recommend staying at the Ostria and will almost undoubtedly return.

Agia Paraskevi is in the middle of the Koukounaries-Skiathos town route, which makes moving around very easy. Room was simple but beautifully decorated, very clean and neat. Rich breakfast (especially for a ** hotel!). We stayed at Ostria for a week and all I can say is that we are going to miss it! When we visit Skiathos again in some years, we are definitely staying there!!! Won't even bother to research for other hotels! Highly recommended! The hotel is located 150 meters from the beach and 100 meters away from the main road from Skiathos town to Kokonaries beach. There is no noice from the road. Great large garden (especially forfamilies with kids).Across the street there is a restaurant serving very good food: Kochyli restaurant. Skiathos is a pretty and welcoming island, excellent for a little holiday. It's even better if you manage to split... a few days here and a few more days in the nearby Pelion peninsula. You will definitely enjoy both.

Review 81：We have been coming to Greece for 16 years and choosing Ostria for ourstaying in Skiathos was one of the best decisions. Rooms are bright,airy and extremely clean. The garden is a wonderful place for kids toplay and adults to relax, with perfectly kept grass, flowers and palm-trees while the pool is exceptionally integrated. The hotel is locatednear one of the best beaches on the island (fine sand, crystal water, nowaves) also close to some good restaurants/tavernas. The family runningthis hotel did everything to make sure we feel like home from the veryfirst minute till the last, and we couldn’t thank enough for that toSophia, Mikey and Takis at the bar. They all helped us with everythingwe asked for, and returning to this place would be a must. Actually, wemet people who booked in advance for the next year. Review 83：The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with a lush garden, nice pool andbar/breakfast area. Our room was very nicely decorated, and hadcharacter without being luxurious. The hotel is family owned, and thatshowed in the service we were given. They will do everything to make youfeel at home. With only about 20 rooms it makes for a more personalexperience than staying in a large hotel. There was no noise at night asthe hotel is nicely tucked away from the main road. We had absolutelynothing to complain about, and yes, we would go back to this hotel.We found the location to be the best on the island. The beaches on the western half of Skiathos is better than the ones closer to Skiathos Town, and there are less people. Still you have everything you need close nearby. Two great restaurants lie just down the Road (Mesostrato and Korali), and there are two "supermarkets" too. We rented a car and explored the beaches of the western and northern half of the island. With 60 beaches to choose from we could find our own private beach on some days. . All in all, we had a perfect stay at Ostria, and we really recommend this hotel. For the money we paid it was excellent.

The accommodation is clean, bright and airy with goodsized balconies or terraces; beds are very comfortable and rooms haveair conditioning. Breakfast is served in the bar area, lookking out onthe fabulous pool and lovely gardens with fruit from Ostria's own treessometimes on offer at breakfast - you don't get fresher than that! Thefamily (Makis, Maria, Anna & George and Sophia) and their staff are veryfriendly and nothing is too much trouble. A warm welcome greets you atOstria and lasts for the duration of your holiday.
