Review 1：No curtain/blind at very large floor to ceiling window with view to open plan lounge where the sofabed and occupant are in full view of passers-by at night when the lights are on!!, so had to walk around in the dark to avoid being seen from outside :o(

Review 2：Our apartment was very spacious and comfortable; the kitchen was even equiped with a dishwasher although we didn't use it. The bathroom was excellent with a wet-room style shower and superb water pressure... great for waking up and freshening up. Lovely sea view from spacious balcony. Shame that we visited right at the end of the season so were unable to take advantage of any excursions :o( Enjoyed water taxi from complex to the old city of Rovinj; inexpensive and regular timetable. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautiful streets and buildings and also the gorgeous cafes and restaurants built into the rocks along the water's edge.

Review 3：Lots of noise from groups of rowdy youngsters until small hours of the morning. Other guests not friendly and ignored any friendly overtures. Shortage of utensils and basic items. ie. No kettle,toaster,fish slice or corkscrew. We ended up having to buy one at the market. The pots were all too large to be useful.

Review 4：Access to the sea and swimming were excellent, apartments were modern and clean.

Review 5：I read some of the other reviews and had some reservations regarding staying here. However, our experience was perfect!! The staff found us two rooms right next to each other ~~ even providing a free upgrade to make it happen. The waiter at the pool was friendly and the food and service excellent. The taxi service from the hotel to Rovinj was totally on time and very convenient.

Review 6：No response from management to request to replace reading light bulb and provide a kettle to boil water. Resort was overrun by a German school group - pre-teens screaming and running around day and night. Lack of sound proofing between apartments. No view.

Review 8：Finding this place for the first time was a nightmare, particularly late at night! There is very poor signage on the approach to Rovinj as to where Amarin Resort is located(what is there is small and not visible in the dark). Having been up and down the same road twice we eventually had to ask in a gas station but when you turn at the final sign for the resort it doesn't state that it is 2km down the road! Having turned you pass by a few houses and shops and then it turns into a country road and you are convinced you have gone wrong as there is no sign of life. Please, please, please improve your signage as it is the only thing that lets you down as what awaits when you finally do arrive is wonderful!!

Review 9：The apartments were beautifully clean and spacious and there was plenty of parking available. The setting for the resort is stunning, I wish I had been staying for at least a week!

Review 10：Family with small kids got appt after heavy smokers-smelled badly for over 3 days, personnel a bit slow, waiters especially, last lunch waiter didn't show up at empty restaurant within 20 minutes so left, understandable as the end of the season but should get better.

Review 12：1. Although recently renovated, the lower floor had couple of visible damp spots on the wall near the floor and you could smell it in the air. 2. For premium apartment one would expect to be fully cleaned at least one in a week. Unfortunately, only towel and bed linen change was included. 3. Inter-staff communication was poor. We requested apartment cleaning at the reception for the next day and had to repeat the request twice more until it was done three days later. 4. Internet connection: session is limited to up to 30' and it was quite annoying to re-establish it. There were also couple of connection break downs, lasting from several to twelve hours.

Review 13：The facility itself - great location just near the private beach, apartment (we had premium one), restaurants, sport infrastructure etc. Each duplex apartment, besides the terrace, has its own little garden and decent amount of privacy.

Review 20：There were some problems with our apartament on arrival and we have been asked to spend fist night in the hotel close by. There were no chances to stay even 1hr in place like this as it was far away from standarts we have paied for. After coming back to reception we have been asigned a new bungalow (why this couldnt happend from the beginning?) Other dislike are numerous bugs in the apartament. We found scorpio looking creatures which were really awful... Many ants on tarrace. Not all bungalows are with sea view as You may think after watching pictures attached.

Review 21：Good location. Nice beach nearby + nude beach few minutes walk. 5 minutes driving to city center. Quite and calm surrounding. Tasty bakery on the camp

Review 22：This resort is awful. From the 30 minutes it took us to check in to the small unclean, uncomfortable rooms. The beds were pieces of foam on plywood. The courtyard was full of weeds. It looked nothing like the photos.

Review 32：It depends what you want from your holiday. This is 6.3 km from the old town, but if you want the beach and pool, then this is the place to be. There are busses into the Old Town, where there is more selection of restaurants.

Review 42：Sport entertainments were cancelled regularly due to wind or rain. Bbq evening was very poor. Housekeeping basic but adequate. Apartment window faced a brick wall and the small garden outside area was rather grim. I did request sea view. 16 pounds per day to hire 4 sun beds and 2 parasols at the pool. I think that this should be included. The weather last week was poor and this will have affected my scoring and did not suit us as an outside type of family.

Review 43：The location of the apartment was good gor exploring the surrounding area. Resident band on for one night were very talented. When sport activities were on they were good but not enough effort was made to gain participants. Rovinj and Porec and Pula and local villages were good days out and accessible from here. Laid back restaurants north up the beach. Watch out for the naturists though. Spent a week in the mountains and lakes which was amazing whereas this was okay for relaxing and exploring Istria.

Check-in was chaotic, very disorganised, we had to wait until 3pm and then still nothing was available. Bill is charged in Kuna and you can end up paying more than the price you booked. Sunbeds are extra - at that price they should be included.

Review 52：We were sold by the official pictures showing a tranquil, stylish and organised looking pool, set in front of a beautiful beach. In reality that couldn't be further from the truth. The pool area is swamped with children, their caring mothers and papas, and all sorts of inflatables. Staff running around but doing not much at all. It was total chaos. Much like a busy intenational airport lounge, on the beach. You get given electronic bracelets to pay for stuff, which just ads to the institutional feel of this place. We had a new-style apartment (next to more knackared looking older ones), which was perfectly functional but void of any character or style. The apartment was like Centre Parcs but in Croatia. Staff, to be fair, at reception they were very friendly and understanding of our choice to cut our stay short, no penalties charged. Staff in the breakfast area have to learn how to smile.

Review 53：There is much to like about this property if you are the right target group, i.e. a family with lots of children. It's got pools, beach, restaurants, activities, etc to cater for all your practical needs. if you're like us, a young (ish) couple on a road trip through Europe looking for local charm and chatacter, then there is very very little to like about this place.

Review 62：you pay 446 eur per night in one bedroom apartment - and they charge you for sun umbrella and sun bed by the pool - quite big extra money every day - dont know exactly the sum - my husband paid it and it was in kunas - but we were dissapointed... there is a noisy camp in the same resort - and the people from caravans and tents are sharing the same pools and facilities with those from premium apartments... so it is definitely not such a quiet and privat place as it looks in the catalogue professional photos... :) but we enjoyed it! can recommend...

Review 63：we stayed at premium one bed room apartment, it was very nice, new, modern, very clean; two TVs so the kids could watch their channels and we could watch ours, nice restaurant, lovely pizza, clean 3 pools with sea water - a very nice pool for young kids which is not shown among professional photos, pity :)

Review 66：incredibly badly organized: the strand has enough place for less than one tenth of the guests and places had to be payed extra (I payed 324,20€ per day for an apartment with 5 beds) which is amazing! Same story with the swimming pool (also extra payment) where sistematically (against under every security and safety rule) there was ten times the allowed number of people. nevertheless the strand was visited by people who arrived in the morning and left in the evening and did not belong to the resort and/or the camping. I will never visit again this resort - for no reason.

Review 72：1. Room. The rooms in the older part of the resort are very far from the beach. The rooms are small and stuffy. The airco in the room is not working properly, it makes mainly noise. We didn't sleep any single night. It was very hot outside, but the terrace is not covered from the sun, so we weren't able to sit there. There is no dishwasher at the kitchen. 2. Beach. The resort is overcrowded, there is not enough space on the beach and by the swimming pool. It's almost impossible to find a sunbed and umbrella after 10:00 am. 3. Staff. The staff is unfriendly at all. Before the check out our key cards were blocked and the airco was turned off (it was +40 outside!) 4. Parking. All parking places near our room were continuously occupied and we had to park the car at the reception area.

Review 79：The hotel was perfectly located outside Rovinj, but had a boat connection straight from the hotel pier. The boat departures every 30 to 60 mins and costs 25 Kn per adult. The hotel was nice. Our apartment at the new part of the area and it was nicely decorated and also had a view to the sea and Ronivj. Well equipped (dishwasher, micro... but you need to take your own dish washing stuff). In the area there were all the services you could imagine; supermarket, fruit market, small shop, restaurants, cafes and all kinds of activities for all ages (minigolf, water sports and so on). The pool bar / pizzeria had a wide selection of food (pizzas, steaks, salads...). In the heat of July it was nice to have the pool and the beach but still stay very close to the lovely Rovinj!

Review 95：Apartments Amarin were not what we expected. It was very far from the town of Rovinj, not as described. Our room that we booked through booking.com was supposed to have a balcony and view to the sea. Our booking confirmation showed that the room would include the balcony. We got a room without balcony or a view. When we complained to the staff at the reception they said that they did not have ANY rooms with a view and only some rooms had a balcony. They were rude and unprofessional. All the photos listed on the booking.com had a view. We were not the only ones complaining but the staff could not do anything about it.

Review 98：Everything! The infinity pool was a dream! Our appartment was sopeaceful and quiet and was cleaned every day! We had a daily change oftowels for 3 people sharing a 4 bed appt! We were given appt no 313 andit's location was perfect. It was close to the pool and dining areaand beach! There is a public shuttle bus which leaves for rovinj every 5mins past the hour for e1.50 Single. We also took the taxi boat torovinj in the evenings for e3.50 Single. We liked rovinj but we lovedamarin even more! The infinity pool is awesomely beautiful. We booked atrip to venice through the reception and the staff were so helpful. Thecleaning staff were so neat, tidy and clean and our apprtment wascleaned to perfection on a daily basis! We were also able to take thetowels to the beach and the pool every day! We would love to returnagain next year! We also too the public bus to pula to see the famousarena (colloseum). And the bus station at rovinj is very good for daytrips to other parts of croatia and serbia etc. amarin is the best placewe have ever stayed in......well done amarin!

Review 101：Food was less than desirable. Our apartment was broken, AC didn't work right, and the place hadn't been fully cleaned. We had to call the desk multiple times to get things taken care of.

Review 103：The staffs were behaving rough and the checkin was not so good. While check in, I told that, i like to pay the money for the apartment booked, but the staffs were not interested to do it and instead they asked to pay the next day. But till that time they asked my id card as security. Also the bed was not as expeced. I got 2 single beds, where i expected a king size bed. And the singes beds were not comfortable while combined. I didn't slept well for the days i have booked. The beach is not sandy as shown in the picture. It is sandy to an extent but not as in the picture. While checkout , they disconnected the power at 10:45 am, while the latest checkout time is 11:00 am.When i copmplained, the staffs didn't gave a proper response In total, i didn't had a good time in this apartment

Review 104：there was no hot water for two days and when we told at the reception what happened all we got for answer was that the price is what it is, so pay and leave.

Review 106：we got a much better room that we had to (i think they had teenager groups in the standard accommodation we chose). the pool with the view on the sea is very enjoyable! Prices were VERY cheap (15€/night/pers). The restaurant is nice! the buffet is good and with a lot of choices!

Review 108：We were pleasantly surprised. Improved could be the seating situation by the beach front resteraunts. Currently separate between bakery and other areas. People should be able to sit anywhere and order anything. Seating is very tight for those looking to have lunch.

Review 109：The Apartments are newly renovated, clean and the bed was comfortable. The Kids had a fold out Couch where they also slept well. It was a 5 Minute walk to the beach and People were spread out well. We ate dinner in Rovijn and the water taxi Service was super and reliable.

Review 114：After making a choice according to photographs viewed on the Internet, I can confirm that the apartment was in line with expectations. Amarin is a structure that can meet the needs of a diverse clientele, including those who, like us, loves to use the apartment as a base for excursions in the area, returning in the evening in a comfortable environment.

One very bad point though is that the on site supermarket either over charge you by scanning the same item twice at the checkout or give you the change from a 100k note when you give them a 200k. This happened 5 times to my partner and myself over the two stays we have had at this resort. Each time we were given our money back straight away when we complained so watch out. I did tell the office at reception but was told it was nothing to do with them. This was the only thing wrong the rest was fabulous .

Review 129：Cleaning is poor, the room that we have stayed in was in pretty bad shape, old and cheep furniture, AC was performig poorly. WiFi is fee but it is worthless as it works extremely bad. Bad coverage and very low speed... Worthless! Avoid the rstaurant on the area! Bad food, my wife become ill after an hamburger. The only plave that is worth eating on is the pizza place. For fresh food go out of the area and take left. 50 meters away is a pressty decent restaurant that serves tasty food. For the same amount that we have been charged for you can find much better places to stay on. Clearly overpriced!

Review 132：Big, clean apartment with great balcony Securitas is taking care of the main gate + the security in general = good feeling Nice staff All sorts of activities available

Review 133：- you are charged of you want to use the chairs at the swimming pool or beach, same for parasol - swimming pool is very busy due to general use by hotel/apartment/camping guests

Review 134：- design of apartments - nice beach - airco - parking - close to Rovinj (Taxiboat or 5 min by car)

Review 135：Apartment was overpriced. More than 1000Euro/week for below average accommodation. Surprisingly poor service level at reception desk. 1. No service available until next day when safe stopped working at 19:00. 2. No availability or flexibility when offering to pay extra to keep apartment a few hours more. (Late flight) 3. Hamburger meal offered in beach restaurant lowest quality experienced in years. Someone is obviously saving too much money.

Review 136：That we did not have to share apartment with a mouse. Like our neighbours.....

Review 137：Noise. Bad sound insulation. We could hear furniture moving (probably cleaning ladies) at 8am on Saturday for at least an hour or more in the neighbouring apartment. You can also hear families talking in neighbouring yards or the streets.

Review 138：The design of new apartments, layout of houses, beautiful greenery and flowers, facilities for children, nice beaches.

Review 139：no curtains on sitting room window , sun shone through at 6am where kids slept on sofa . when we asked for curtains we were told they didn't have any. (poor effort) charge for sun beds at pool.( get the last cent out of you). apartments were clean NOT spotless. ask the staff to try a smile , doesn't cost any thing (I think). would I go back ,probably not.

Review 141：When booking, the tourist may need the special requests specified in thebooking details . if the hotel can not perform these requirements isnecessary to notify the tourist to be able to decide: maintaining orcanceling the booking. Review 142：At inside modern apartament with comfortable rooms. Location of Amarin,and distance to Rovinj.

Review 143：Very small apartments, not at all clean. Old and cheap furniture, dirty curtains, dirty walls and cealings, bugs etc.. If your planning a romantic trip, it is not the place to go. The pool is big and nice and it would be nice if you have one of the 10.000 kids that are there. The beach is small, because the long part is settled in rocks. Way to expensive for what they offer. Very disappointing.
