Review 1：San Antonio is fantastic. My wife and I spent a few days in Split. We had rooms in this hotel and we were thrilled. It was extraordinary. We had free parking. The room was spacious, sunny, comfortable and very clean. The room had a balcony with the best view of the sea in the world. The service is excellent, the staff extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant is excellent for all meals. Best of all, we had peace, and we were only 10 minutes away from the center of Split. We recommend this hotel to all who come to Split, no matter whether it is a business or a fun trip.

Review 11：The breakfast was not that interesting and the staff could have been quicker in refilling. We were in the corner room and that means there was another window in the bedroom. The blinds on that window were not adequate and the light came in right on my pillow. All the other window coverings were sufficient to block the early morning sun.

Review 12：This was a great hotel with a great location. Even my two year old liked to sit out on the huge balcony and watch the people on the beach. Although the room was overlooking the beach and above the restaurant, it was very quiet and we were able to enjoy our great room in peace. The bathtub was huge and had a jetted tub. The half bath was also a nice touch. The room was spacious with separate bedroom and sitting room. The food in the restaurant was good. I especially enjoyed my calamari. The staff was really good and responsive and seemed genuinely welcoming to my daughter. The woman in the spa area was very good and very courteous. The pool was nice and it was a great refreshing place to swim when it was too hot outside. With an added bonus of a gorgeous view. Reception was professional and courteous. This was a perfect combination of extremely scenic location and a very nice accommodation.

Review 13：This has nothing to do with the hotel, but it is a stone beach, not sandy, so we had to buy water shoes. I do think the gym/spa could use an update to compete with other resorts down the road.

Review 14：Great view, had a sea view room on the top floor with a lovely jacuzzi tub. Right on the beach! Staff was really friendly and very helpful with any questions we had.

Review 19：Difficult to actually find things we didn't like. The upstairs pool wasn't heated so in the wrong light was a little chilly. But it wasn't cold once adjusted.

Review 20：The location is fantastic - on the beach (with its own spot). Weather was 30 Celsius for our entire stay, which was ideal. The staff we met were attentive, helpful and all smiles. Very chilled atmosphere, no request was too much of an ask. The bar was fully stocked, and allowed us to get beers late into the evening. Breakfast had a good choice, and good quality, fresh food. Hotel is very modern - fresh and clean throughout. Room was air conditioned, clean, comfortable with a balcony which sun trapped for most of the day. Room was serviced everyday. The top floor had a pool, and a balcony with a superb view across the whole resort. Bus stop to Split is just across the road from the hotel entrance. 20 minute bus journey. £1.20 each way. Easy Peasy.

Review 21：In the middle of nowhere. Would not choose to stay here again after staying in split, hvar and seeing the rest of Croatia. The hotel was very basic as well.

Room was excellent, large and clean. Food was very good, we enjoyed every meal we had. Also, we enjoyed the fact that Adriatic sea is just under the window. Very, very, very close. Review 30：I have been to Split for business purposes and I am delighted that I had opportunity to find accommodation in San Antonio hotel. Hotel is clean and tidy. It is very quiet, no unnecessary noise. The staff is very kind and polite, helpful for all needs. Room was excellent, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast very tasty, great coffee too. Not to forget, the view to the Adriatic sea is worth a million! That is definitely the best choice if You need accommodation in Split.

Review 81：Breakfast not very appealing. The pool was directly above our room and the self cleaning was extremely loud at 3AM, receptionist did not know what to do and refused to call the hotel manager so we lost 2.5hours sleep. When we checked out no one apologised.

There is so much potential to turn it around. Pool super nasty on top floor. You don't even want to get it. Ventilation grills above ceiling so nasty. Review 98：When i was reading the reviews I didn't understand the mixed reviews, but when we got there I could see the confusion. There are two types of rooms; the standard ones in the annex which is a building behind the hotel, and the deluxe rooms which are more expensive are in the main building on the beach. We decided to pay a little extra and get the deluxe room, and it payed off, first the hotel decided to upgrade us to a suite which was just amazing! The room is literally one meter from the beach, the view is of the islands in front, just beautiful! I must say it is the same view in the other deluxe rooms. The breakfast includes a wide variety, the swimming on the top of the hotel is indoor but the water was cold. There is a nice private beach, with a great waiter Jocip he was smiling the whole time and always availabe. The hotel is 15 minutes from split, which makes it very trenquile, the distance didn't bother us as we had a car, and we choose this hotel so we could relax. The girls in the reception helped us a lot and gave us great tips.

Review 102：Only downside was the hotels own restaurant. The service is really poor, the food was not great either. It was run by mature men who do not seem interested, nor quick on the ball when it comes to a general standard of service. They even forgot our dessert completely... There wasn't much atmosphere, could of had something to do with the unnecessarily loud outdated music playing through the speakers... The views are incredible though and it is very convenient. Right on the beach itself, which is clean and beautiful.

Review 103：We got upgraded to the deluxe suite and so our room was gorgeous! Fantastic view of the sea, clean and spacious luxury room with a terrace that had some chairs and a table. Looking at the surrounding rooms and buildings I think we got very lucky! The other rooms didn't have the luxury we did, especially in terms of the view. It really was an incredible site! The receptionist staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout. Gave us all the time and help needed. Great advice too. Also organised a transfer for us to and from the airport, which is recommended as the Taxi's in Croatia like to rip ppl off!

Review 108：Practically no fitness machines were working in the fittness room or had been serviced for a long time. Even though we brought it to the personells attention, nothing happened. Waiters in the nice restaurant was extremely slow and very little service oriented - especially the older ones. The younger ones still had customer attention.

If they want to claim that they are 4 star, they need to have more people on staff there. Its around 20 minutes from Split. But, i think its better to stay here than staying in overcrowded Split.

Review 113：Spacious, Nicely designed New Rooms. Sea View Rooms were good. There is a small private beach, which is clean and well maintained. I would stay again at this place.

Review 116：Our room was never properly cleaned. House keeping for example didn't make the beds properly or take out dishes or trash. As well, our room was water damaged and the hallway outside the bathroom soaking wet. This made the room smell a lot. The reception staff ordered a taxi for us that was more than 20 minutes late, would be nice if they could inform us before that it was a bit unreliable or if they start using another company. We ate once at the hotel (except for breakfast) and it was enough, I'd give the meal a 3 out of 10. All in all the hotel is quite dodgy, the management and personell seem to lack ambition and it is pretty far from reaching standards of a 4-star hotel. Podstrana is as well a pretty boring place with very few restaurants and little to do, the beach is ok but so many other beaches that are better. We paid about 170 euros per night for two persons which was ridiculously overpriced for this hotel. Good thing Split is nearby.

Review 126：The pool upstairs was dirty and I would not swim in it. The Wifi internet in room 17 was terrible and would only work in the bathroom. They charged us for beach towels, which is totally ridiculous with the amount we paid for the room. The view from our room was blocked by trees, which kind of defeats the purpose of a seaside room.

Review 127：The beach area was great with plenty of chairs and sun shades. The breakfast in the morning was amazing, but the dinner was average at best. The bathtub was very nice and large. The pizza at lunch was very good also and so was the outdoor staff.
