Review 1：Very poor breakfast. Only 5 channels on TV, 3 of them didn't work.
Review 2：This is a restaurant with some rooms behind, more like a motel. The room was very clean but quite small. Everything looks new.
Review 3：This was the most spacious and luxurious accommodation we had in 12 nights in Iceland. The large designer-decorated room smelled wonderfully fresh when we entered, and the large bathroom contained amenities, including the only washcloths we encountered in the whole country. The adjoining cozy restaurant offers a wide menu and huge breakfast; we felt entirely cosseted. The owners take very good care of you -- an undiscovered gem! We couldn't recommend it more highly. It is a bit difficult to find as the front of the restaurant doesn't face the road name it's on, but rather is a short way down a perpendicular street.
Review 4：Being right next to the Route 1 services, views are not great. Hella is small and there's not a wide selection of amenities or places to eat, but Kanslarinn Restaurant offers a selection of simple meals.
Review 5：The room was very large and well appointed (keetle, tea, coffee, fridge and TV). The room was very clean and well presented. We stopped over here to get the bus to Landmannalaugar and it was ideal being right on Route 1 and opposite the bus stop. Breakfast was tasty and had a good selection. Excellent value for money.
Review 6：The staff is extremely welcoming and ready to help. I truly enjoyed my 2 nights stay. They offered me a better room, with private bathroom. Dinner at the restaurant was good and at affordable prices. Breakfast was excellent, WiFi was ok. The hotel is located next to the bus station of Hella, from where you can take the bus to Thorsmörk, and to all the other attractions.

Review 12：Friendly and helpful staffs (I guessed the owner). If you look for travelling to Landmannalaugar, you'd better stay here and go there by TREX bus. It is 5 minutes walking to the bus station. The hotel has restaurant and it is very delicious. The room is very clean. We love this place.

Review 19：Don't be fooled by the hotel's somewhat underwhelming outer apearance. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable and while the bathroom was shared, it was only between 3 rooms, so you don't need to fear any queues. The manager was extremely nice and the breakfast was good. Also, the place is conveniently located, just by the ring road.

Review 27：The rooms and bathroom are very new and modern (don't let the exterior fool you) and the host was very kind and accommodating. Great for our 2 night stay in Hella to be close to Landmannalaugar and it was great to wake up to fresh bacon and eggs in the morning!

Review 30：Don't expect much from the outside. It looks like these rooms were built on to an older restaurant (which has great fish and chips!) so the outside of the building is a bit of a hodge podge. But don't let that turn you off. The rooms are very modern and spotless.

Room was actually very well decorated by Iceland standards and included everything we could have possibly needed, including our own sink, which was a nice touch for a room that had a shared WC. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and the best we had out of three different hotels in Iceland.

The restaurant was good as was the included breakfast. Owner doesn't speak a lot of English, but enough to cover the basics, and he was very friendly.

Review 49：It was an INN - a trip back in time: Family restaurant in front (good food), pub on the side and the rooms in the back - all run by a lovely, warm-hearted innkeeper who was happy to help with whatever we needed. Even called his wife to inquire about possible Northern Lights in the area. Located conveniently right off the highway, but with residential area on the other side so had some family atmosphere at the restaurant as well.
