Review 1：Wifi not good.We were not satisfied with the car we rented through the hotel. It was a good price but when we wanted to take the car to go to the boat on our last day, we found it had a flat tyre. Tyre turned out to be totally gone bad, it was very, very old, completely dry and thin. Car rental company was not helpful. Once in the office, one guy said in Greek that it was OK, but another guy still charged us money, and did not give us a receipt. We were anxious to get on the boat, so we paid, but it was a very unpleasant experience.

Review 20：With so much going for it, I hate to carp, but there were some downsides. The rooms and balconies faced east, so no evening sun, fine no doubt in high summer, but chilly and exposed in September with a the usual north wind blowing. The lounge layout seemed designed primarily to accommodate two extra sofa/beds to take a family, making it uncomfortable as a lounge - watching the small TV gave your neck a crick, as it was set at 90 degrees to the seating. From beach to bed was 130 big steps, you don't get a view in Greece for nothing: We tended to use our hire car.

Review 25：The rooms are a little tiny and not so practical. The rooms and the funiture seems to have been like this for years. The balcony could have been half size-in that way the rooms could be build a bit bigger (might had a "livingroom" corner). But this is only an idea for the rooms on the top

Review 65：Very dated and ugly interior of room and bathroom. Whole building is old, concrete everywhere, bad 80's architecture. Lots of stairs everywhere. Dirty walls, shutters and balcony. Juices offered at breakfast all sugary and of low quality (not fruity). Balcony with uncomfortable chairs and no shadow till afternoon. No wi-fi in the room.

Quite afew steps down to the beach and shops and restaurants but only took 4 mins to walk as we are fit. Nice beach. Breakfast was very good including bacon and eggs. Pool a good size. The girls at reception were extremely helpful and lovely. I would certainly recommend this hotel it looks abit tired from the outside but the rooms make up for that. Best location we felt to stay in Andros.

Review 74：We loved our stay in Mare e Vista Epaminondas. As a new family, with our 6 month old baby we could not have asked for a better experience. This is a family owned hotel, which makes all the difference. We were welcomed with a warm smile and since our room was already available, we could check in from 10am, also on our last day, considering that we had a baby they moved around their schedule so as to offer us a late checkout; for that we are more than grateful. The Superior double room was very spacious and with all the comforts that one could ask for. The beautiful terrace with the breathtaking view of Batsi and the Aegean Sea was our favourite spot to relax. The breakfast had lovely freshly baked goodies, as well as my personal favourite “halvas farsalon” (made with semolina)

Review 75：he parking is small and can accommodate only 15 vehicles. The people who designed it must be those designing the Japanese cars in the 60s thus it is small, narrow and you will suffer a great lot if you drive a medium to large sedan. I managed to scratch my car’s side a bit despite my car’s parking assistance. I suspect that in the summer it will quickly pack and as such you need to leave the car down the hill and walk up the stairs…. (a bit of a task) Second, as the property is full of stairs you must exercise extra caution on them as there are no hand rails on them and if you get out of the pool with wet feet-shoes, you risk injury. Expecially people with knee problems or who could not walk easily must be extra warned. Third, as the tap water is not potable only a bottle of mineral water was offered and it was in room temperature as the fridge was initially un-plugged. More water should have been offered Forth. Although there was free Internet, around the reception and the breakfast room, of excellent speed, no signal could be received inside our room

Review 76：The bathroom was all right and the shower curtain was of good quality. Water had the correct temperature and there were Italian made cosmetics of the correct quality and abundance.TV (high tech LCD-good reception and some free satellite chanels) and a small kitchenette full of utensils etc.Everything was immaculately clean, the external of the hotel must has just been painted in a rather ugly brown color (nothing to do with the Aegean colors) and I suspect that the room it self was also repainted maybe last year. The colors inside the room were blue and white correctly matched to the local architecture.Once you open your window door you go out to a spacious balkoni and the furniture there is of good quality and you can sit for hours just watching the magnificent view….Superb!!!If something deserves my highest rating is the mattress and the pillows. The guy who made these must have been in my mind and they made them just for me!!! Excellent quality and as such, excellent sleep.There were a bathrob and slippers of excellent quality comparable only to those found at 5Star hotels. What a convenience to nsay the least!Breakfast was abundant and had some interesting bits e.g baked bread with cheese and tomato similar to the Cretan daco. Further, although the coffee was not a famous brand it was rich in flavor and taste and I treated myself two caps. We had our breakfast at the veranda outside and guess what the view was breathtaking.We got a glimpse of the pool who seemed Ok to us (who would ever go to the pool with an excellent beach just off the property?)We decided to set our bill early so that we could wonder around the island and a surprise came from the blond lady at the reception. She asked us what time we had our return boat (at 19h) and she offered us free of charge a late check out at 18h. Wow!!! This gave us the opportunity to enjoy our day at the sea and then have a shower and prepare our return home. Excellent customer care to say at least!!!
