Review 1：I had problems locating the hotel as the location indicated in the booking.com map wasn't correct.

Review 2：The owners were most kind and welcoming and had no problems with my early check in.

Review 3：Lovely place to stay in Batsi - just 80 metres from the beach, but very quiet. Staff are great and really thoughtful; noticed my wife's walking difficulties and offered us a ground floor studio straight away.

Review 4：No bathtub cabin or even a curtain at the shower to keep the water from spilling all over the bathroom. Very poor toiletries,a couple of soap bars only. No sea views.

Review 11：Owners were beautiful people made you feel so at home, lovely welcome and made a real fuss of us both when we left, we booked another night and let us keep the room until taxi arrived. Near the beach and all facilities.

Review 12：These family run studios are very caring and cannot do enough for you, cleanliness is high on their list. Nothing is too much trouble for them,which is what you want when you are on vacation.

Review 13：The beach in Batsi should be cleaned. There are sigaretts and some plastic litter around. No big problem but could so easily have been fixed. Batsi may be boring for teenage children. For us with younger (6 and 9), it was perfect :)

Review 14：The blue & white coloured studio was just what we hoped for - clean and with possibilities to open up windows / balcony doors on more than one side of the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Renting a car was easy because Nicoletta arranged it all, car delivered and picked up at hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet lane where our children could run out without us worrying of traffic. The location also gives no noise from traffic / tavernas etc. (Only noise you will hear is from animal (cats, hens,..) in the night if sleeping with windows open :)) The beach is just down the little lane and across the road. Cars drive slowly. Batsi and Maistrali is recommended for familys!

Review 15：The shower/bathroom was like a wet room but didn't drain away so I had to leave the floor towel outside the bathroom door. . Not a major problem but floor was quite slippy.

Review 17：We came here for 3 nights and stayed 6 nights. Maistralli studios has a really nice feel about it with close proximity to beach, good swimming and restaurants. Nice balconies, fridge, 2 ring hot plate, good bathroom with shower.

Review 20：There is no electric kettle, iron or safety deposit box as stated on booking.com and the only toiletries provided were two small bars of hand soap. The wi-fi didn’t work either. I tried to get online several times even trying nearer the reception but never managed

Review 21：We were picked up at the port after I had emailed the owners to ask for this. On arrival we were given the choice of two rooms and the lady was very friendly and concerned as to if we wanted anything. The room was the usual Greek studio with two large comfortable single beds and a wardrobe with two coat hangers, not much drawer space and the usual two-ring cooker and a fridge. The utensils were very basic. However, the bathroom was very modern with bright tiles and a hand-held shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The balcony was quite large and the patio doors were modern and secure. The bins were emptied every day and the towels changed every other day and bedding after 3 days. The gardens were very well kept and it was just down a lane (about 100 metres) from the beach. There were a couple of sheep and goats in the little meadow next door. There is no passing traffic so the only thing that might wake you up are cat fights, dog fights , I had to get up and shut the patio doors which kept the noise out and church bells on a Sunday morning. It’s just really nice and quiet and at the bottom of the lane there are several tavernas and a little supermarket not far away. The family were unable to return us to the port but Nicoletta kindly booked us a taxi which cost €12 so that was fine. These studios were a very good price and I felt were excellent value so we would definitely stay there again.

Review 29：Air conditioning didn't work and when I asked was told there was a technical problem which would be fixed next day but it was never dealt with and the staff never explained why or asked if we wanted to move room.

Review 30：Clean well equipped room. Convenient location close to beach and bars/taverna etc. Batsi is a great place. Try the 'themalos' restaurant, fab food and offer live music and arts events. Oti Kalo is also great for food.

Review 32：The location of the hotel was excellent.Only 2 minutes from the beach and the main seaside road of Batsi. Maistrali is a family business hotel, traditionally constructed and designed, bearing the colors of the Aegean sea. The owners are greatly friendly, helpful and very hospitable. What was much appreciated is that they offered to take us at the port early in the morning while leaving, as the public transportation on the island is rare and uncertain. I would definitely stay there once again. Batsi is also a wonderful place. Had a great time despite the bad weather.

Review 33：Amazing location, right in the heart of Batsi, do not listen to the Internet which claims it is far out. Couldn't be more central and so close to the bars and restaurants. The couple who owned it were charming and very helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone! 10/10

Review 39：First of all the owners! They were so helpful and they gave us alternative options how to enjoy island "beyond" the sea which is obvious, so close, and there are wonderful beaches! The room was very clean! A great relationship between quality and price. (It is cheap for what it offers)!
