Review 1：We felt amazing in this little cottage only for us. Everything was so cozy and romantic. Views at the lake and mountains/volcanos right in front were stunning. I would definitely reccomend this accomodation for a couple. I personally liked the fact we didn't need to meet the owner at all. He just sent us really detailed information about the cottage, how to reach there and what facilities are around. The location is perfect if you have spent your day around the Golden circle. For me Lax à Rangá was one of the best accomodation options on my 10-day trip through Iceland.
Review 2：When we entered the property we noticed the sink was slowly leaking. We emailed the owner, because we are without phone service, and we were otherwise fine. The owner later emailed with a partial refund and was very accommodating
Review 3：We stayed for two nights and were very comfortable. Very clean and functional, plenty of room for two. A great base to explore from. We were very happy with our stay.
Review 4：We had a reservation for three nights but we didn't have our room done. Because there is no front desk, we had to go to the Hotel next to the cabins to ask for help.No breakfast, no help, 110€ per night It's expensive.

Review 13：We didn't see the owner at all, all went well except the lock was tricky to work and another guest had to help us. would have been nice to have seen the owner at least once. This is a fishing lodge, the fisherman were not keen on us being there... they didn't say anything, it was just their behavior that gave us that feeling.

When we came, key to the room already was left inside the house, when we were leaving we just shut the door and left the key on the table. No check-in, no check-out it's a great idea!

Review 26：Rooms and furnitures are very new, simple and lovely. Hot shower with good pressure, makes a perfect bath after a long day of hiking. Good heaters in the room. Hassle free arrangement with the owners - no reception but owners had emailed us early to tell us how we could collect the keys.
