Review 1：Soundproofing could be improved. We could hear loud music from the 3rd floor.

Review 2：Close to main attractions of Mysore. Breakfast selections and quality was good. Staff were attentive. Play room was great for kids.

Review 3：Furniture in room seemed normal nothing great, WiFi facility is not good , Swimming pool is NOT temperature controlled and it was very cold , worst was I could not access steam/sauna after the swimming in chilling cold pool , to access steam SPA treatment was mandatory - whole SPA facility was not good to expect from a 5 star

Review 4：3 families traveled to Mysore for vacation , we stayed for 2 nights and booked 3 room , 1 included luxury suite. Each one of the Staff were very courteous , willing to help - I must mention Afzal/Hussain , he even offered us a discount coupon for Ola cabs , well equipped with relevant information on Mysore was handy. Also Alwyn from restaurant kind to us as we had very small kids , he was very patient and even helped our kids with playroom so that we could enjoy our breakfast & dinner Rooms are good , big and clean. Breakfast is excellent and delicious , Although food is good but there are equally good options for much less price. Although good place to stay again but I would explore different options next time.

Review 5：We had some issues which we raised with the hotel manager (mr Guru) who said "what can I do to make you stay more comfortable". We requested wifi access for an additional device as well as express laundry service. Upon checkout they had billed us for the laundry which did not want to pay for as it was offered by mr Guru as a goodwill gesture. Their management now have the cheek to say that I was uncompromising in my refusal to pay for this item ! Too right ! Generally goodwill gestures are free !!

Review 21：Arrived a couple hours early but reception desk staff would not allow early check-in (presumably no rooms were ready yet) and so they asked me to come back in two hours. I came back in about 3 hours and even though it was past the posted check-in time, there were apparently still no rooms ready so had to wait another hour in the lobby before could check-in. Porters & security staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff could have been friendlier and clearer in how long of a delay it would be to check-in rather than being disinterested and non-communicative.

At least a mini bar could have served some purpose which of course was not available even for a premium room. Review 28：Even after reminding for cleaning my room twice they didn't do it. We stayed for two days the cleaner came for cleaning we told him to come afterwards but he didn't come. We reminded on the reception twice but still no one came to clean our room. Lift was also not working properly.

It required 2 calls and a visit to reception to get the room. Not a pleasant thing after a long journey. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Its misleading. These days paid wifi is not acceptable.

Review 53：The rooms and the room furnishings and bedding are in need of conplete overhaul. You can see stains and wearing off of the bedsheets and carpets. To me pillow covers, bedsheets, covers/duvets and towels in the bathroom need to be fresh and clean and wornout which they were in this case.

Review 74：I was having bad diarrhea even before travelling Mysore, and it worsened when I reached the hotel. The staff and driver were so helpful to get me medicine and even IV fluid set at 2am! (Me and my partner are doctors, so I had IV fluid infusion in the hotel room itself since I could not retain any fluid I drank)

JP Palace was gorgeous - first class with great lobby ambiance, clean rooms, comfortable bed, wonderful ammenities. The food served on the top floor restaurant was superb. I ordered a very inexpensive dish from the menu and the chef came out and asked me how I liked the food - very classy - actually, the noodle dish he fixed was excellent!! Loved the entire experience!

Review 79：i was unable to change my booking and had to pay for a night I wasn't there. Perhaps this was my fault, but unlike other hotels, they made no effort to accommodate my changing needs. Therefore, i wouldn't book with them again. Also Internet policy terrible. Having to pay to use it in a high class hotel is not acceptable and then it is sporadic at best. Also kitchen hygiene debatable because We got gastro and had only eaten there for 3 days, but perhaps it was something else. For example, No use of spoon to add ingredients to omelette!

Review 123：I am a very senior citizen stayed in this hotel along with my wife for five days. Towards the end my wife became sick. All the staff from top to bottom extended their helping hand, which we normally get with the family members only. Starting from the medicine to special diet was supplied to the room without any extra changes. Time to time they were asking about her well-being. I am really touched. I thank the top management for recruiting well educated and humble staffs. I appreciate the HR department for their good job. All the staffs are humble and cheerful.

Review 135：My expectations of my stay at the Fortune JP palace were met and more. Staff were corteous, hardworking and amenable to helping me. I was impressed with the room and housekeeping even checked to see if I needed anything prior to going to bed. Dinner buffet was amazing, a large selection of food and the supervisor ensured that I tried some of the local delicacies by putting some plates together for our party. The breakfast had a great selection for all tastes. Gym was good despite it being on the small side. Pool was clean and had towels ready on the lounger. All in all I was very happy with my stay there and felt that the service provided reflected very good value for money.
