Reviews for Tudor Cottage
Review 1:Inconvenient bath, tap difficult to regulate.
Review 2:Nice medieval cottage, but still newly refurbished and comfortable. Beautiful garden. Beautiful location in the countryside, far from big highways, near the sea coast. Nice owners.
Review 3:I don't know where to start, Ann and Ash are so amazing in hosting and keeping the Cottage. It has been a great experience, both me and my friend were amazed. Every little detail is dealt with perfection. I felt so comfortable and relaxed I felt sorry I only booked for 1 night. Breakfast was excellent and not to mention the tea and teacake they offered at our arrival. I'm truly grateful and cannot recommend it enough. Federica
Review 4:The 'please do/do not' notices may make some feel uncomfortable.
Review 5:Lovely cottage and friendly owners. 30 minute walk to Porlock for food but nice scenery long the way. Excellent breakfast although not sure if we ticked the boxes as we ought. All very thoughtfully set out.
Review 6:The brevity of our stay!!
Review 7:Amazing place! Beautifully restored 15th century home with a lovely garden. Attention to details was most impressive including a torch/flashlight for night walks, butterfly shaped butter at breakfast. I know these things are not really important, but the fact that they existed shows the general approach of the owners. Also, great for walks, coastal path, beach, river.
Review 8:Tudor Cottage and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful, my friend and I also felt so welcome. The breakfast was yummy to. We would definitely stay here again.
Review 9:A little pricey for a longer stay and a longer stay is recommendable.
Review 10:Fantastic location in beautiful nature park close to sea and cosy villages. calm and impressive settings - natural luxury.
Review 11:WIFI is a little hit and miss in parts of the cottage but actually you could see that as a positive to getting some real peace!
Review 12:A beautiful property in a wonderful location. Easy walk to the beach in 10 minutes and good location for exploring Exmoor. Our room was very comfortable with lots of attention to detail around facilities and decor. First time that we booked a room without en-suite facilities but this was absolutely fine - the private bathroom is just a few steps along the corridor and is well fitted out. The breakfast was very good with a good variety on offer. Ash and Anne are excellent hosts.
Review 13:We didn't have a bad experience, but it would have been nice to have en suite. We had our own bathroom though. Some of the lanes to the cottage were quite narrow
Review 14:Ash & Anne were very friendly. We loved the cottage, it was clean and we were made very welcome. The breakfast was excellent. It was peaceful
Review 15:A very warm welcome to a lovely chocolate box cottage in a quaint little village. The super king size bed was great and the breakfast was excellent. Dinner at The Ship in Porlock was excellent too. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and we had a lovely weekend.
