Review 1：The accommodation was both comfortable and practical in a breathtaking location. Some may prefer a more executive finish to their accommodation but part of the charm of visiting a Greek Island is to escape from the pretence of the modern world!

Review 4：The apartments were in a fabulous spot overlooking the sea. It is such a relaxing place to stay. The owner is lovely and very helpful, he sorts out any problems as soon as they arise. These apartments are really well looked after, even the towels get ironed!

Review 7：The apartment was very basic. It was described as having a private terrace/balcony. In fact it just opened up into the general back garden so that anyone could walk past our back door. It was very noisy. Our booking details - including credit card details - were printed out and left on an unmanned reception desk for anyone to see.

The beachfront location is nice but the beach itself is stony and not pristine at all. The breakfast was mediocre and there was no espresso but rather use a pot of brewed coffee.

Review 18：The breakfast was just ok & didn't start until 8am so we only went once during our 6 day stay. This particular beach the property is on is average but there are many other better beaches nearby. No elevator or tvs(which was fine for us). Typical European showers, impossible not to soak the entire bathroom when showering.

Review 19：The location of these apartments was good for our needs. The apartments were spacious & clean and the owner was very accommodating. They had to move my kids from one apartment to another in order to accommodate another guest that couldn't use stairs & moved all if their belongings AND discounted the new room. Several restaurants & markets within walking distance. Family run place.

Review 20：There was nothing we didn't like, a pool would make it perfect but as you're so close to the beach and pools at other apartments are available it's not really a problem at all.

Review 23：The location was perfect. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back and nothing was too much trouble. We did change room to a top floor apartment and this was definitely the best apartment. The views all round were lovely it was light and fresh and spotlessly clean. We plan to return as soon as possible.

Review 30：Wonderful location for these comfortable, very clean, well equipped apartments. Breakfast on the beach is lovely and the attentive nature of the staff is very much appreciated. Little more to say but if you want to book a holiday and get what it says on the tin - relaxation, peacefulness, cleanliness with great views then this is the place to stay. We stayed in one of the top 3 apartments and for the views and space I would pay the extra. There were only 2 of us but easily big enough for a family. Great holiday.

Review 63：The sea is just a few meters from the territory of the apartments that is great! It's great especially in the morning when you sit in the bar area and have a breakfast. The breakfast is quite good. The only thing I would recommend is to have fresh orange juice instead. Rooms are really large but need some renovation but in general all is OK. Unfortunately the beach in this area is not so good, so you should drive another place in order to relax. So, car is highly recommended. Also, please note, the hotel doesn't offer beach towels. The owner allowed us to use bath towels as beach towels but the towels (by the way the towels was very high quality).

Review 64：Mosquitoes at night and the beach right in front of the hotel - the seabed was covered with stones, not suitable for small child feet :) Both were compensated by the amazing beaches all around the island, the great food, and the atmosphere at the hotel.

Review 65：Great location for a relaxing vacation away from big cities and party places. Loved the welcoming attitude of everyone at the hotel, and the advice we were given on where to go and what to do. The room was amazing, and we enjoyed many long, lazy evenings on the balcony. I personally also took advantage of the improvised library at the Reception, and learned a lot from the book on Kefalonia there.

Review 66：The location is superb. The breakfast is varied and it is served next to the sea. The service is high-quality, I felt like a king. The room is large and have a breath-taking view. Excellent value for money! What more can you ask for?! So glad I didn't stay at some usual hotel room, it's a much better feeling when you have the whole flat for yourself! Totally recommend to anyone :)

Review 68：This was one of my best holidays. From start to finish, everything was so great. Our flight was delayed, but Nontas (the owner) was there to welome us. The flat is very spacious, very clean and so quiet. We had a top floor apartment with amazing views from the balcony. The breakfast is served literally on the beach. It is family run, and everyone was so friendly. We rented a car from Venus ( in the village) and drove to many amazing little beaches. Katelios has many nice restaurants, so we did not have to go far. The apartment is on katelios beach, and you can use the sun lounge chairs from the apartments on the beach. We were so sad to leave and Nontas gave us a bottle of Kefalonian wine for us to take home. I would definitely go back again next year and for longer!

Review 70：I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Albouro and will be back in the future for certain. It is all about location here - simply gorgeous, right on the lovely little Katelios beach. It is a peaceful spot, gorgeous views. The apartments are simple, but comfortable and always very clean. They are cleaned every day and the bins emptied, and the towels and bed linen (sparkling white) were changed half way through my week's stay. The family who run these apartments are so welcoming and friendly, and cannot do enough for you. It was a lovely week, and a big "thank you" to Nontas and his family!

Review 71：A gorgeous, lovely, relaxing spot! The apprt. was great, modern furnished, clean and full renovated. I really enjoyed the stunning seaview from balcony and tasted the delicious, very traditional breakfast! Thanks to the friendly owner Nontas and Galini the cleaner for all their help.
