Review 1：It's was perfect. Amazing and stylish.

Review 2：Location was fantastic and perfect to explore the island of Kefalonia. Lovely little restaurants located around the area of Ketelios too.

Review 3：Mariela the manager, and her staff are great people who go the extra distance to make your holiday a real pleasure. Do take the advice from Mariela if you want to know where the best fish restaurants are on the island, you will not be disappointed ! The home cooking they produce in the hotel is top quality and plenty of it, breakfasts will not disappoint anyone ! It is in a lovely scenic location within an olive grove and yet only 5 minutes walk to the beach. With only 5 rooms in the hotel we found it very quiet and peacefully charming, and we had the ecopool (non chlorine) to ourselves most of the week we stayed.

Review 4：Beds were a bit hard for our soft bodies. If you sleep on a futo or hard mattress they will be great.

Review 5：Melina hosted us amazingly. Really makes you feel special as a guest and helps you find the many great secrets to the island. The property feels like a relaxing retreat.

Review 6：We had a perfect ten day holiday at Olivemare. We were extremely well looked after - the staff paid great attention to detail and our comfort and wellbeing was taken very seriously. Facilities and food are great. The location is perfect - very quiet and peaceful, yet only a five minute walk to the sea and beachfront tavernas.

Review 9：The people that run the place and super hospitible and lovely. We had such a nice trip we loved how relaxing the week was. The gardens are beautiful and the setting is very peaceful. The island is has lots of things to do keep you busy as well. We loved our holiday.

Review 12：The whole hotel is decorated to a very high standard ,with good quality furniture and fittings. The bed was a kingsize with fabulous pillows, so comfortable. first time ever we had a completely private shaded patio with padded sunbeds where we spent hours relaxing with a book , there is a lamp provided so can sit out til late and has a view of the sea. With only 5 rooms it was very quiet and most of the time we had the beautiful pool area to ourselves. food was homemade and beautifully presented, cleanest place I have ever stayed, and all the staff so helpful and friendly, very near to local beach etc. only 2 minute walk , fabulous!

Review 13：If I was being really picky, personally the bed and pillows were too hard for me but I appreciate this is very personal. Also, as it is like a house, the bedrooms back on to the main breakfast area so we were woken every day at 7am when they started preparing breakfast. It might be an idea to build a separate kitchen so people can sleep in. However, this is meant as constructive criticism and it really was one of the best places I've ever stayed.

Review 14：The house is absolutely beautiful. A really relaxing place which feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but is only 3 mins walk to the seafront and restaurants. Lovely pool and good sunbeds. Room very nice and private balcony a nice touch. Really lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. The perfect place to relax and get away from it all. One of the nicest places I have stayed in the world.

Review 15：A t.v. in the room could have been nice... Better signs directing visitors from the main road to the hotel could have saved us the need to go and ask around.

Review 16：The room was spacious, spotless, had all the amenities promised. The balcony that opens to the garden with the sunbeds was great. The breakfast with fresh products, locally produced was excellent. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 18：There was really just a sliver of sea to be seen from our veranda though view may be better from other rooms. Shower room small but adequate but shower door not quite closing properly.

Review 19：The ambiance was excellent. Very tastefully decorated. Peaceful, calming environment in beautiful gardens. Staff were fantastic, considerate and could not do enough to please. We really appreciated all they did for us and we would like to return and recommend this hotel to our friends.

Review 20：A beautiful, peaceful retreat. Crisp white linen and great style throughout. Definitely should be classified as a luxury/ boutique B and B, it is totally justified. Fresh produce served at breakfast, appears quite repetitive at first but don't be frightened to ask for more, as staff are more than willing to accommodate. Pool is divine.

Review 24：The hotel is wonderfully serene and stylishly finished. The breakfast had a good choice of fresh breads,fruits,cereals, delicious Greek yoghurt.....and more. The pool is pristine and chlorine free. Everything is recycled. And wonderful surroundings!

The food there is amazing, made up from fresh ingredients. If you stay there make sure you try the food not only the breakfast but also dinner. The location is quite good as well. Located not far from some really nice beaches. I would HIGHLY recommend for couples that want to enjoy some peace and quite.

The breakfast was lovely with most of the food homemade - best bread we had in Greece! Our room was spacious, light, unfussy design with a delightful terrace. There is also a lovely pool with sun beds. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from a pleasant beach. The owner, Madeleine, gave us good insider tips on where to visit - ask about the wonderful Setso bar...

Review 43：The blinding white of this small bijoux lost in its olive garden, the fantastic original and homemade breakfast, the swimming pool with oxygen, the lavender and the hanging white curtains that I felt I was lost somewhere in Provence.

Review 50：Stunning hotel, great attention to detail. Light and airy rooms. Fab breakfast, extensive menu for lunch/early dinner. Well located near to both the beach and its tavernas, and other tavernas up the hill. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Review 51：This place is well designed and when you arrive imediately makes you feel like you are staying somewhere special. It feels more like staying a millionaires villa and with limited rooms you don't have lots of people using the facilites and you do feel like you are staying somewhere quite exclusive. The pool area is lovely and tranquille and the breakfast is probably the best continental breakfast I've ever had. The rooms are also spacious and the bed very comfortable. If you are going to kefalonia then treat yourself to a stay here.

Review 52：The only thing we struggled with alittle was its location-we felt like we were in the middle of no-where. This didn't help as both us cannot drive and felt alittle contained in Katelios as it was so tiny.

Review 53：Olivemare was such a beautiful retreat-with boutique style surroundings. Our room was minimal but chic and with everything we could have wanted\needed. I loved the attention to detail with the Korres Cosmetics and Coco Mat Dressing Gowns and Slippers-set out delicately on our Bed for our arrival. Marianela was fantastic and provided wonderful atmosphere and a sense of "care" about everything she did-nothing was too much trouble. Fiona the Chef, puts on a truly gorgeous Breakfast every morning-we thought it was so impressive-we ordered a Meal on our Last Night from her Menu and it certainly didn't disappoint! Delicious.
