Review 1：Residents in next room had a dog! which was constantly noisy - Clearly had been left in the room on it's own. Quietened down at midnight when owners returned. Resulted in a BAD night's sleep for us!!!!

Review 7：We stayed at Ellingham house for 6 days and all I can say is a huge Thank You to Chris and Iain. They are the most friendly and helpful hosts ever. They gave us great advice for our tour of North Wales, and suggestions for places to eat. Our room was large and spotless and the bathroom was really nice too. The breakfast every morning was really good with lots of choice. The house has recently been lovingly renovated by the hosts and is in a convenient location near to the centre of Colwyn Bay.
Review 8：On map looked like an easy walk from train station. Didn't realize all up hill. Chris gave up a lift to the train station when we left which was very nice.

Review 20：Excellent accommodation. They we're very friendly to our pet and our 1 year old. Without us having to ask they had a high chair ready for our child at breakfast. One of the best B&B's that we've stayed at.
Review 21：house was too hot, trouble sleeping although pet friendly nothing in house to show the fact not even a bowl of water. I found the whole area very unfriendly especially restaurants no real pubs and nowhere would allow the dog in. Ended up with no where to eat in evening I would not rush back there.

Review 32：Chris and Ian were absolutely amazing hosts. I had requested for flowers chocolates and champagne to be placed in the room prior to arrival which they were. They were more than accommodating and went above and beyond to make me and my partner comfortable and enjoy our stay. The breakfast was also amazing and well worth getting up for. I would highly recommend Ellingham house and I will stay again without question.

Review 79：Not so much a 'didn't like' but you can get a better rate by calling direct (I used booking.com) and they charge £1.60 to use a credit card as payment. Breakfast from 8 - 9 in the week may not suit business travellers.

Review 81：We were in room 3, and the exclusive en-suite was across the corridor, so one had to make a quick dash (in the robes provided) - not too convenient. My only slight point with regard to the breakfast was that I would have liked better quality toast (not standard sliced).

Review 92：I was expecting something much better. The welcome at the door, the barked: "Have you booked?" The tiny double bed. The rather poor breakfast and a sausage that was inedible. The décor which was, at the latest, 1970's. Who buys tea-cups and cutlery like that in 2013? Most of all though was the feeling that we had intruded into some sort of domestic row and were not really who they wanted to look after.
