Reviews for Apropo Hotel

Review 1:It was a filthy shabby run-down excuse for a hotel, with rude staff. I took photos to prove just how bad this place was because they refused to refund our money when we said we would not take the room. This place is sub standard in every respect and charges the same as a luxury 5 star hotel.

Review 2:This "hotel" is an afterthought. Clearly the hospital built a shopping centre, added an extra floor and thought "why not create some rooms we can rent out?". No services. £30 a day to access the Internet- what a rip off!

Review 3:The breakfast is poor. It is offered for only 2 hours: 7:30 to 9:30, the food sits unrefrigerated and then reappears the next day. Bread, but no toaster. Hotel needs free wifi. No tourist info, bus schedule, map, restaurant info.

Review 4:The staff was friendly and very helpful. Room issues were handled promptly and courteously. Perfect location for our purpose: on Sheba property. Room was large.

Review 5:This hotel exactly met our needs for the occasion - i.e. an overnight stop before an early flight the next morning. It is clean, the room was large and it is quiet and comfortable. There was somewhere to take a stroll and compared with most urban environments, the view over the hospital grounds was pleasant enough.

Review 6:Staff was absent when we arrived and didn't answer phone calls or desk bell. We had to wander up the elevator to find someone on another floor after 10 minutes. Parking and wifi were both PAY ONLY. Parking was far from hotel entrance. Price was VERY HIGH for value received! Breakfast was a sorry sight.

Review 7:Too far away from Tel Aviv center. We could move around only by taxi, cause one of us is on a wheelchair. The fair is about 100 shekel (one way). The cost of paid WiFi at the hotel is very high.

Review 8:Very convenient location (just next to a small mall and a taxi station).

Review 9:No Internet - neither wifi nor wired. (Wifi is supposed to be available in a hospital coffee shop nearby, but I didn't find it.) No guest laundry and no connection with any laundry facilities.

Review 10:I was working at the Sheba Medical Center, and this hotel is on the campus. Campus is not within walking distance of anything, but taxi stand is right outside. Hospital pharmacy and limited hospital supermarket are alongside lobby. Rooms have mini-fridge/freezer, sink, interesting two burner electric cooktop, but no microwave and no dishes, pots, pans, utensils. Excellent cold breakfast available every day

Review 11:It was fine. We were looking for a hotel near the airport. It was another experience in Israel which is always good. The hospital was incredible - the largest in Israel. Almost like a museum.

Review 12:I found this hotel when searching the Internet for a hotel close to Ben Gurion airport. This place is no where near the airport. It is on the grounds of a hospital complex, and beyond a guard station. The description of the hotel did not mention the guard station. We drove around quite a bit before finding this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for folks looking for a quick one night near the airport.

Review 13:The staff at this hotel is really great. We got in at 2 am, and the lady at the reception desk was really nice, she showed us where we were supposed to park, had the room ready, was very pleasant.

Review 14:Farther from the airport than we thought, and we only had access to a taxi - no other public transportation - to get to the airport. I would highly recommend it for a medical patient, but not for an airport hotel.

Review 15:It was clean and comfortable

Review 16:Dirty walls, old sofa, curtain in the shower.

Review 17:Close to hospital, good for families of seek people.

Review 18:No more than a 2 star. Noisy and old.

Review 19:We were charged $185 USD for one night for 2 adults and 1 child. The rooms are dated and noise from the hallway easily traveled into our room.

Review 20:Location was good

Review 21:A basic functional hotel but in an isolated position. I was surprised to find the bathroom floor covered with water as I emptied the bath.

Review 22:At Easter with few places available at very short notice this was nearest to the airport at 21 kms and cheaper than remaining hotels with any availability.

Review 23:A little bit far away from leasure places, but it is very "purposeful oriented location", just in the hospital.

Review 24:If you have some business in Shiba hospital, it is the best place. It is very clean, nice, comfortable, big rooms... highly recommended

Review 25:Everything.

Review 26:Nothing

Review 27:People at desk VERY nice. It was fine for the price.

Review 28:This location was about what am $40 super 8 would look like at $160.00 A NITE THERE IS NO VALUE HERE. Also it's a 440 CAB RIDE FROM THE AIRPORT.
