Guests can enjoy an outdoor experience in style with Royal Camps, which features fully furnished tents and mud huts, as well as dining facilities. It has an outdoor pool and a variety of activities can also be arranged.
Situated 22.4 miles from Jaisalmer's city centre, the air-conditioned Royal Swiss Cottage Tents made with triple-ply canvas feature roll-up windows and doors. They are fitted with a four-poster bed, attached bathroom and outdoor seating area. Mud Huts are also air conditioned and come with an attached bathroom.
Guests can enjoy a variety of activities ranging from camel and horse safari's to a jeep safari. Camel cart rides are also available. Folk music and dancing can also be organised. Transportation ticketing services are available.
Royal Camps also has a kitchen, which serves Indian, Continental and Chinese dishes besides local delicacies.

Review 1：Water problem,not very clean...pool was being used to store water, food was unsanitary, OK for young couples who want adventure... And it wasn't cheap.

Review 3：The entertainment/ cultural program was extremely poor quality considering Rajasthan is well known cultural destination. Food was average to poor.

Review 4：Did not like anything at all Rs 5000 for deluxe tent... For 2 nights doesnt worth at all... Deluxe tent with no facilities. The electricity us a big issue and when asked to deliver the breakfast in the room clearly denied. In Rs 5000 it doesnt include dance show and dinner. What are they charging for Rs 5000. The swuming pool looks as if not purified for ages now... To start with your package will not include any safaris and other facilities. You can only expect the same breakfast every moring Poha and bread/ butter or jam.. Sick and they call thenselves the royals of sam.. My foot... To worse it even more they did not even provide a room heater as well as they know it gets quite chilly at night at this part of the world.... Complete dissapoint... I would recommend not to spend for even a night there are lots of othet places in Sam which are more superior than the Royal camps...

Review 5：Booking online is misleading. All the local resort people take money in advance and when you actually checkin they will offer you a sub standard room. online booking is only for 5* 4* hotels.. not for a resort like this.. i was surprized to see the audacity of resort manager that he offered us sub standard tent where as we booked the premium tent.. our taxi driver told us this is a very common scenario in Jaisalmer resorts!!!

Review 6：The property is understaffed. The dinner and the breakfast was good but do not cater to different tastes. The kitchen is Veg, which should have been mentioned.

Review 7：The closeness to the open sky and land. The resort is as clean and comfortable as possible for a tent.

Review 8：They started charging extra and finally I pais extra of INR 2000 to accommodate my son and to have camp stay. Food was not to any standard but okay to survive

Review 10：After booking this place i make a call to the manager n he refuse to confirm the booking, after threatning him for consumer form he ask me to visit d place n says dekhte h, the place royal camp is 45 km from jaisalmer city,he didnt provide any transport ,as we hd reached the place at 1500 hrs n didnt know d place no food was provided, directly ask for Rs750 per person for dinner n camel ride ,food was horrible since we r hungry we hd no option
