Reviews for Hotel Pastura

Review 1:One minus - water in the pool turned out to be cooler than in the Adriatic and it was not bearable to have a swim even on a warm sunny September day. Another minus (not related to the hotel itself!) - it was not possible to rent a moped in Postira at the end of September which was a disappointment. Maybe something hotel owners could think about for the future for their guests?

Review 2:Room with a harbour / sea view which was lovely and worth extra fee. Room was spacious, lots of storage, big bathroom - all clean, simple and modern. Wi fi working ok. Breakfast was good - continental with fairly large choice of cereals / cheeses / hams / eggs / fruits etc. Amazing evening meals - great a la carte menu with lovely sea bass /amazing juicy steaks and lamb. Every time we ate there we couldn't stop complimenting the food! Lovely restaurant service, reception guys and housekeepers - all friendly and helpful during our stay. Access to the sea just outside the hotel. Nice swimming pool area. Location of the hotel in Postira is great - little fishing harbour at the doorstep, close to other restaurants or bus stop to Supetar (frequent ferry to Split).

Review 3:Unpolite staff, their english is very poor, could not use the sauna because have to reserve it in advance, small gym with a huge size of mirror, one towel for 2 guest, could not have (poor) breakfast at terrace. When we complained, the staff said it is the hotel manager's instruction or did not answer, but they cannot solve the problems. it is not a wellness hotel!!! Bad experience...:(

Review 4:Close to private beach.

Review 5:I'd gladly pay more for half-board if it meant a broader menu and improved cuisine.

Review 6:The tranquillity of the quayside location made for a very peaceful, relaxing break.

Review 7:No kettle or cups in room for us to have a coffee or tea if we wanted. Wifi quite poor . Set seating at breakfast was disappointing . There was plenty room for us to sit elsewhere but not allowed .

Review 8:The spacious suite and balcony. The fact their was entertainment on nights was a bonus .

Review 9:the photos on booking.com are very much photoshoped. The room didn't look that good (we had a suite on the ground floor). Wifi didn't work in the room the entire stay. In our room was freezingly cold (early Sept). While we complaint at the reception, they said they didn't care. While people in next room were closing their doors the wall in our suite was trembling. We ordered lasagne and all got sick afterwards. Breakfast was awful. Coffee was the worst I had ever. The hotel is way too overpriced and not worth this amount of money.

Review 10:Pool, proximity of the town and cafe's.

Review 11:Location excellent, right next to local restaurants. No interruptions and easy to find sun lounger and umbrella at no cost. Hotel arranged taxi/boat/taxi transfer.

Review 12:Really disappointed with our stay here - we were expecting something special after reading previous reviews. We arrived around 8pm after a difficult day's travelling to find the car park full, with no room on adjacent roads either. Entering reception we were told the hotel was hosting an annual party, which explained the lack of parking, and that there was likely to be some noise by the pool outside our window overnight. With a tired 11-year old we declined an invitation! Woken at midnight by the DJ and music which continued for 3-4 hours unabated. Repeated requests that night and during our stay to speak to the manager were met with "he's just gone home" or "he's not in yet". Reception staff were completely disinterested. At the end of our stay we were told that we would not be charged for the first night - great, but an apology earlier or better still advance warning at the time of booking would have been better. Other issues - wifi never worked in the room, worked very slowly sometimes in reception, safe in room never worked, pool was not particularly clean with lots of insects/hair etc in it. Really not the standard we would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Review 13:Room itself was spacious and well appointed (we had a one-bedroom suite), location of the hotel on the seafront was good. Restaurant staff were lovely, good choice of food and best part of stay was eating dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea and the bay.

Review 14:The sunloungers were 10 kuna each which is not much but as a guest I didn't feel we should have had to pay extra.

Review 15:The room was cleaned daily and was very modern. The pool looks right onto the ocean and is right beside all of the shops and restaurant. I had a massage and it was very relaxing

Review 16:Great location, just a few minutes stroll from the lovely village waterfront. Exceptionally clean, very welcoming staff, beautiful pool with swimming area in the sea just a few paces away. Ideal location for family holiday with young children. Cosmopolitan mix of guests, many children, very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Review 17:Means were ok but didn't like that only a la carte people could sit outside . I was put at the back on my own and had to keep the table for duration of stay . Staff tried to explain but I always love breakfast outside .never went in pool as so many children using it .

Review 18:Good location . Right by the beach . Bit enough sunbirds but if you could get one it was great . Usually reserved by 8am so moved up the coast and bought a sun mat x

Review 19:Wi fi in room could be better. Tea/coffee would be nice to have available in the room

Review 20:Staff were fabulous and nothing to big a problem for them. Went as guests and left as friends as promised.

Review 21:Our apartment was separate from the main hotel and had no WiFi

Review 22:Fantastic location, right beside the old harbour with it's own swimming area into the sea. Excellent food and service throughout our stay, we would highly recommend a stay at hotel Pastura.

Review 23:Hotel Pastura is a lovely hotel in a a beautiful Dalamatian town. Postira is a real hidden gem in Brac and much nicer than many of the more well known resorts on the island. The staff in the hotel were a delight and the overall facilities, vibe and atmosphere was excellent. We had a breathtaking view from our enormous balcony overlooking the Croatian mainland and mountains. This is a great hotel for both young families, couples and anyone looking for a wonderful break in Dalmatia.

Review 24:The view from the bedroom was stunning, the staff couldn't do enough for you and it was an easy walk into the nearby small fishing port. What more could you ask for?

Review 25:Overbooked from seaview room reserved to apartment in annex for full duration. Seaview rooms in hotels opinion are also those facing car park with side sea view off balcony, so buyer beware. Apartment was not cleaned properly, bed linen not changed in 3 days, and breakfast not a 4 star standard

Review 26:Brac island itself very pretty

Review 27:We had to ask for a kettle. also as the hotel gets busier in July & August it will be hard to get a sun bed - people had started leaving their towels on the beds overnight to 'claim' them - the hotel should have some rules around that. Oh and some of the gym equipment needs to be updated the treadmill and the bike both only work in a limited way

Review 28:The staff were great. Postira is a friendly little town to stay with enough restaurants and bars and a couple of shops and in the evenings there are some stalls to buy souvenirs. They do great cocktails and we really liked the range for breakfast. Our sea view was delicious and it is a place you can have a lovely restful holiday

Review 29:There's no actual beach at the hotel which is a bit annoying but if you walk round the Coast for about 10 minutes there's a little bay to sunbathe in.

Review 30:Great location, quiet with enough shops and restaurants to keep it varied.

Review 31:The only small criticism and it is small... No towels for the pool area. The rest fantastic

Review 32:The location absolutely fantastic the staff are nice and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Plus the whole place was just so relaxing. The best place for a holiday

Review 33:having to leave after 3 days!

Review 34:perfect location, knowledgeable, helpful staff, lovely modern apartment with superb views, excellent dining room and buffet breakfasts

Review 35:Some staff not too friendly tho some were fine Not keen on being told where to sit for breakfast. It seemed a bit rule happy, not allowing people to take cups of coffee out of the dining room. We were allocated an apartment some way from the hotel when we had booked a normal room. Only when we refused to pay full price was a room found instead.

Review 36:Location, pool.

Review 37:no beach close to the hotel/in Pastire; quality of breakfast quite poor - no choice of vegetables, limited bread/pastry choice, egg dishes not freshly prepred/cold; masseur in wellness with no empathy/poor customer orientation (questioning simple demands)

Review 38:hotel was clean, good quality/price ratio

Review 39:The male receptionist did not seem very customer focused .

Review 40:This is the 2nd time I have stayed here.It is a nice relaxing place.Breakfast very good, and staff in the restaurant are all very attentive .

Review 41:staff let us wait for 2 hours and 35 minutes to check in. they were so late and careless, not even attempted to speed up the process. It did ruin our day completely.

Review 42:location, comfort, sea front next to it.

Review 43:Not that many good restaurants, fine for a few days but not a week. Hotel food was great but few other places.

Review 44:Lovely place with beautiful sunsets and nice atmosphere. Perhaps rhe best view from the balcony we have ever had. No beach by the hotel but even better with sun beds on the cliffs and swimming in deep water without having to walk on rocks.

Review 45:Minor point - whilst use of gym free, guests expected to pay equivalent of £5 for 1hr use of sauna and or jacuzzi but I expect this charge was to cover additional electricity.

Review 46:Location Staff - very helpful Breakfast Recommendations for day trips, local festivals and public celebrations and other restaurants

Review 47:When we arrived, we were pleased to find ourselves upgraded to an apartment. It was very well set up and comfortable.

Review 48:Wifi was very poor

Review 49:Close to the see. Nice pool for young kids. Good restaurant with helpful staff

Review 50:Paying for sun bed.Be nice to have kettle in room.

Review 51:It is the 4th time I have stayed here.Rooms with harbor view nice.

Review 52:The wi-fi was not very good.

Review 53:The receptionist - Adrianna was very helpful and had some very good ideas for activities to do.

Review 54:The coffee at breakfast was truly awful.

Review 55:Great location, great price really friendly staff.

Review 56:Breakfast rather average.

Review 57:Views of the harbour town and sea, spacious room and balcony.

Review 58:Lovely hotel on picturesque harbour.

Review 63:This is a great hotel in a great location with great staff.

Review 64:Area to improve would definitely be the Wi Fi connection.

Review 65:The views, the location

Review 66:Breakfast seating "system" was awkward.

Review 67:Very good service, excellent food, beatiful location.

Review 68:Nothing

Review 69:Location. Spacious apartment. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Review 70:Wifi was not so good in the rooms

Review 71:Great location. Clean and quiet. had everything we required . excellent breakfast.

Review 72:staff were so friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and happy. very clean. excellent all round.

Review 73:Beware- all the facilities you need to pay extra for including the sun beds, the gym, jacuzzi etc. I chose this hotel for their facilities and I was really upset when they asked me to pay my sun bed! I've never heard of this before! When I queried this with the manager she was quite blasé and said "we wouldn't want to Advertise it". Finally out key card stopped working 2-3 times per day which was rather frustrating.

Review 74:The hotel was clean, amazing views, good location & the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 75:Food was not great, and close by restaurants are also not great, but still in the acceptable level. The property is not four stars, but not bad. Some staff members could use some training especially reception personnel.

Review 76:Relaxed village, the little bay is not crowded. Some staff members are nice and friendly.

Review 77:A few hidden charges, sun beds.shows health spa,you have to pay a little extra to use.Just a pet hate of mine.

Review 78:Staff very good and helpfull.Very nice shower and view from room.free internet.Breakfast very nice.

Review 79:The swimming pool is great for children, BUT the water was so dirty, we couldn't see the buttom of the pool. No filtration or very bad filtration... They clean the pool only on Saturdays. The hotel is already quite expensive, but if you want to use the jacuzzi, you must pay again...

Review 80:Nice hotel with an ideal situation, close to the centre of Postira which is a nice and small village. Restaurant is good but expensive. The view on the harbour is fantastic.

Review 81:The breakfast was the same every day and a bit limited The foodavailable in the restaurant was a bit hit and miss There wasn't akettle in the room I would have appreciated a welcome drink, it makes abig difference after a days travelling

Review 82:Location was good and situated in a pretty village Staff were veryhelpful Room was as expected with sea view

Review 83:Sun-shades - too thin, poor quality and not enough of them - I got burnt through the sunshade.

Review 84:Lovely location - very easy to find. A short level stroll to several harbour bars and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets. Nice clean pool and pool bar.

Review 85:The Hotel was in a lovely location. We had rooms overlooking the seaand little harbour. All staff were friendly and helpful and organisedtaxi transfers to airport. Great to be so close to the sea and to havea pool as well.
