The Cycladic-style Pension Barbara is conveniently located 100 feet from Katapola Port in Amorgos and 350 feet from the beach. The property offers self-catering accommodation with balcony overlooking the port or its well-tended garden.

Review 1：Clean and tidy with a nice balcony. Very good location right next of the katapla port in a fair price. Barbara welcomed us in the port the first day (very helpfull) and provided us with usefull tips during our stay.
Review 2：We got a very warm welcome from Barbara at the ferry post, she walked us up to our apartment. It was lovely, bright, clean and spacious. Would come back and stay again.

Review 6：For the tourists coming from aigeali port, pension is 25 km far.check your ferry tickets!!! We didnt informed the situation. Otherwise You need to get a taxi and it costs 25 euro. We were so early in the island (06:30 am). there is a bus link to katapola where the pension is. İt is better to wait it or rent motorcycle or car.And taxi driver who sent by pension was drunk a little bit and he got other customer without asking us. Roads are realy continue from high so you are getting nervous with drunk driver.

Review 11：Katapola is a small harbour town in Amorgos. The Pension Barbara is an exellent choice for those who arrive by ferry to the town, only few steps away from the dock. Barbara, the hostess, even met us by the ferry and guided us to the pension. We were so pleased with everything we decided to stay longer at the pension so we added some nights while at Katapola. This was no problem and Barbara was incredibly friendly and helpful. At the pension we stayed in a two room apartment, with kitchenette and small balcony with the best view to the sunset and the harbour. (Better sunset than from the restaurants.) Katapola has no beach but is a nice town with its local charm and calmness. The pension is highly recommended!

Review 13：Super clean room in pension a short distance from port. The owner met me from arriving ferry. She then told me about the island and gave me a map. She was easy to find anyway as she ran the local laundry.
Review 14：Location very close to port, tavernas, restaurants. Barbara met us at the port and we walked round to the room. She was very helpful and when she knew I spoke a little Greek she spoke to me in Greek (I got the gist of it!). She gave us a map and pointed out various attractions on the island. She also brought us a large bottle of water and a little bottle of rakomelo - delicious.

Review 19：We were at first disappointed since we thought from the description we read that the studio had its own balcony which was not the case. But this was not a problem finally .. The cooking device was out of order and did not allow us to prepare our meal. Fortunately Mrs Barbara was very reactive and brought us right away a brand new device. The problem was solved in a few minutes ... No other issue during our stay.
Review 20：The studio at pension Barbara is nicely located close to everything but in a quiet part of the village. It is well equipped and allows you to do your own cooking. The service was excellent with daily cleaning and change of towels. Overall a good address for your stay in Amorgos ...

Well equipped and beautifully decorated in a lovely little town. Barbara was very friendly and also owns a laundry in the village which was convenient.
