Renovated in 2014, Park Plaza Belvedere is located just steps away from the beach and a short walk from the town of Medulin. Review 1：evening meals were very poor for this class of hotel and the food was sometimes cold or just luke warm the dinner plates were always cold

Review 11：Take care with allergies. Our daughter has a serious allergy to cheese, which we informed the hotel of. We ordered a dish and we requested no cheese and explained about her allergy. The dish came with cheese clearly int the sauce. We sent it back but the chef insisted there was no cheese - I checked again - there was. A very nasty situation could have arisen if she had eaten the dish.

Review 12：Generally a nice hotel. Beach is not sandy, but the children enjoyed snorkelling in the sea and salt water pool.

Review 14：Nice hotel will all the facilities including indoor swimming pool and gym. A lot of sun beds on the swimming side and the see side, need to put a towel in advance but you will always find some empty place. Excellent food in the in the restaurant, and many small bars on I the see side.

Review 15：The rooms were small and more importantly there was literally no sound isolation at all. We checked in and we clearly hear our neighbours. We asked the reception to do something but the front desk agent Kristina was completely reluctant. Also, the air condition had a stong, channel smell which was not cleaned correctly. We asked to clean this but it had the same smell afterwards.For this money we would expect even standard room with balcony, a bigger room with sound isolation and quality airconditioning. (35 degrees during the weekend)

Eating outside in the balcony was enjoyable although for a non smoker it is annoying having cigarette smoke puffed in your face over breakfast. The spa and swimming pool areas both indoor and out and well looked after and very neat. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 25：There were local children and teenagers sneaking in the private hotel pool area. Instead of trying to look invisible and enjoy the pools, they were fooling around and guests did not rather go to the pool. The sad thing is, that the employees at the towel station, which is the only entrance point did seem to know about this and did not stop the youngsters to get in. If I as a guest can tell who is not a hotel guest, than a local employee should definately know. But other than this, the hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

Review 26：The hotel is offering mainly inclusive holidays package which attracts very greedy and unconsiderate people: stealing the shade umbrellas at the pool, taking our toasted bread at the breakfast in the morning... Be prepared to fight! Hopefully it's what you like to do on holiday...

Review 30：Meals - we had a half-board package. I did not like that the meals actually ended ahead of scheduled time. For example, breakfast runs from 7:00 - 10:00, but already at 9:30 the variety of food becomes very poor; there was no selection of different types of bread etc. At 9:45 the staff starts cleaning the room, which is also annoying. The most unpleasant experience though occurred at check-out. The bid that that I got from Booking for a 3 days stay was 285 EUR. However, the hotel charged me 370 EUR (mini bar and extras excluded). I travelled solo (1 adult) with 5 yrs old kid and an infant. It turned out that I eventually paid more than 2 adult friends who used the same type of a room in the same time period. This is because hotel charges extra 30 EUR for kids older than 3 years even if they share bed with adults (small print). I complained to the head of reception, unsuccessful though.

Review 37：Our room was at the end of the building so from the lift it took us ages to walk to the room. Good workout when you are carrying a baby. There is not much to see nearby.

Review 38：Indoor swimming pool was great. The buffet breakfast and dinner are great. It's always busy and noisy so our 7 month old son's 'singing and shouting' never bothered anyone. Gym is fab.

Review 41：We've spent 5 nights in the Hotel in September, good quality for price. Nice and quiet room (sea view with balcony). The breakfast was meeting the expectations. Hotel has a small private beach (pebbly), I would recommend that instead of the crowded sandy beach nearby. The hotel has a good location, several minutes walking distance from the town's port.

Review 47：staff was friendly but not professional. cleanness on balcony and garden was not appropriate (the chairs on our balcony were dirty, the sunbeds in the garden, for which they ask extra charge were even worse). Much to few parking lots - daily fights to find a place on the hotel territory to leave your car (many guests chose the option to park the car on the meadow next to the hotel). Early Check Inn was not possible and / or receptionist was not really interested to realize our wish. (however we could meanwhile use the spa area). There was neither inside nor outside a heated pool (>23°) for babies or smaller kids. The terrace is really nice - but there are only a fiew tables there and it was a daily fight to catch one of these.

Review 57：- Minor improvements to wifi connectivity in rooms would be nice. There was a decent connection but weak stability, it kept crashing. Nothing horrible though. - As many before me mentioned I would strongly suggest that the hotel would add the price for sunbeds and sunshades in to the price of the room or made it free. During our stay it was 15 € for two beds and sunshade. It is really annoying when you go to 4 star which has its own beach to pay for it. Also the number of sunbeds was really really small. Nowhere near enough for all guests. When confronted with the problem at the reception, the situation was explained and also said that it will be different next year. Since I write review for this year :) it had to be mentioned.

The stuff was quiete all right, but I would appreciate if every waiter could speak english (at least a few words about ordering food). Breakfasts were superb, dinners almost too, but I would like to taste more local food.

Review 69：We had to pay for a drinks at the dinner. The price for us as a hotel guests was higher than in the hotel restaurant outside, near the beach, where anyone can come and eat. This is for me a big disappointment. The hotel room is quite small. The beach near the hotel is not very suitable for children and very crowdy. Its not the private hotel beach and therefore anybody can go there. Another disappointment is that sunbeds around the pool are paid. I was in many 4 star hotels but no one wanted to pay for sunbeds near the pool. Big minus for the hotel in my opinion. Parking is not yet finished.After the rain ,when you do not catch a good site you have to park in the sludge. Nevertheless i would recommend this hotel we enjoyed our stay there.

Review 70：Hotel is very nice, new. We booked seaside room with balcony and its worth the money. The view from the balcony is very nice. Halfboard is tasty, we were satisfied. Hotel is close the sandy beach which we appreciated because of our small son. Staff in the hotel is very polite. Also the animation team is excellent, the mini disco at the evening and baby corner near the outside pool is very fine. Hotel has a good position near the promenade with many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed very much.

My daughter loved the entertainment close to the hotel. There was a permanent fun fair and water parks (inflateables on the sea). The indoor pool was amazing. Overall a very relaxing holiday.

Cleanliness of the hotel meets a very high standard. Hotel staff was very polite and hospitable especially in the restaurant. Location is of the hotel is great, walking distance to Medulin, ancient Pula is only ten minutes by car and also other nice places in Istra are pretty close and very appealing to visit. There is a public beach which is overcrowded and you have to pay for the sunbeds. 3. We had a seaview but it was ruined by the piles of rubble in front of our balcony. 4. This place is NOT for couples without children, impossible to find peace and quiet. 5. The parking lot is always so full that you have to drive around for 20 minutes hoping someone will leave. When I complained about the lack of parking spaces, we were asked to park our car on mud or one block away from the hotel. 6. We regretted choosing halfboard, it's far better to eat out and try the Istrian specialties (seafood, truffles etc). Next time we're in Istria, we're going to Rovinj!

Review 113：The staff are very polite and helpful. The food and drink onsite is very cheap (around 50 kuna for a pizza)! There's lots to do within the hotel (tennis, golf, swimming, spa etc.) and it's also very close to the beach where you can rent boats, kayaks and jet-skis. Review 127：Completely new, directly on the coast, with nice pool and excellent food. Friendly stuff, great general manager who helped solved for us an important problem, wi fi working everywhere. Hugh sunbeds on the beach. Animators for kids were great! Little bit far from the vilage, but big plus was silence all day and night.

Review 129：Wonderful płace for holidays! Close to beach and town center. Perfect location to sightseeing Pula, Rovinj and other gems of Istra. Eating was delicious!

Review 130：On the third day of our stay we were asked to pay for the sun beds at the pool. The staff told us that there is not enough sun beds for all guests and n this way they wanted to avoid the reservation habit - throwing the towels on subbed early in the morning. I did not like this, there are certainly other ways to solve the situation. The family rooms were too small. We were supposed to have a balcony, but it was a terrace shared with 3 other rooms, provided no privacy. At the beginning of our stay the hotel was not fully booked but then it changed and there were sometimes not enough tables in the restaurant. The pool area seemed also too small for so many people.

Review 131：The hotel is well located at the beach, near to the village and sand beach. It is new and during our stay there were still some things being finished (gym, ATM machine, garden...). What we liked: - the design of the property, - nice pool area, - the cleanliness, - and especially the staff was very helpful and friendly. The first day we arrived very late in the night and told the hotel in advance. We were very pleasantly surprised when we were told that a dinner is waiting for us in the restaurant. That was very thoughtful.

Review 132：Hotel is nice clean new fully meets the standard of 4 stars including catering and luxury bedding. Too bad they went out to dinner clients in flip-flops and baggy shorts, so I guess it must be. The only problem were some waiters at dinner, who after 25 minutes of walking around my desk finally took away the used plates so I could order dessert. Perhaps it is unusual for them, but they will have to adapt to the excellent standard of this hotel.

Review 134：- Many facilities advertised (gym, newsagent, spa, indoor swimming pool, ATM etc.) were still being constructed. We felt that the hotel's description on booking.com amounted to misrepresentation. We paid for a 4 star hotel with these facilities yet those facilities were not yet operational. - Construction work was still ongoing at the hotel (gardens being laid out, wiring being installed in some areas etc, view from room was effectively a large area of mud). This all seemed not good enough for a 4 star hotel. - Lack of staff training. While staff were generally very helpful and polite, we encountered one very rude waitress. Also, cleaning staff would enter our room without knocking.

Review 136：Room cleaning was done at weird hours, like 2-3 pm, when our kid was sleeping. Therefore, we had our room cleaned 3 times in 7 days. Fitness center was not ready equipped at all when we arrived - this was a great inconvenience because this was the main reason why we chose this hotel.
