Reviews for Brambles Bed and Breakfast
Review 1:Although we originally booked two nights 26/12/15 28/12/15 we had to cancel the first night which was okay with the proprietors. They were true to their word that if they re-booked the room we cancelled, we would get our cancellation fee back, and we did. Even the Hotel Inspector I believe wouldn't find any faults, no cobwebs, human hair around the bathroom, dust along skirting boards etc.
Review 2:Impeccable attentive service, clean well equipped room with everything you need. The previous positive reviews are both accurate and well deserved. Brilliant
Review 3:Price was competitive, location was well placed for my business meetings, room was quiet and ideal for working - wifi included. Breakfast was perfect - cereals, fruit, toast and a full English are offered. Evening meals at nearby inn in walking distance along a quiet lane.
Review 4:All the comforts you hope to see in a room. Particularly liked the nice thick bath towels and bottles of water. Lots of nice touches. Superb breakfast in the morning.
Review 5:Only issue were a few stray flies in the bathroom
Review 6:Absolutely lovely B&B - I really wish I could have stayed longer! The owners were really accommodating and friendly. The room itself was beautifully decorated and had a really comfy bed, along with a modern bathroom.
Review 7:Wonderful room, great breakfast, our hosts were most helpful in suggesting places to visit and directing us to local places for lunch and dinner. This is a true gem, have already recommended to friends and family
Review 8:The hosts are most welcoming and clearly understand that a B&B is more than providing a room. A great location well away from motorways yet easily accessible to the M5. Excellent dinner meals provided by the Pub 1/2 mile away.in Uplowman.
Review 9:Having to leave early!
Review 10:Happy, thoughtful and positive hosts. Large quality towels, many little extras in the room to make our stay enjoyable. Coped well with my gluten free breakfast.
Review 11:I was only staying one night
Review 12:Fantastic rooms. Great welcome. Superb Breakfast. It's the little touches that make Brambles a place I'll always come back to. Very comfortable bed, just all round lovely.
Review 13:I had a wonderful stay in the garden room, there was a great feel about the place was made to feel very welcome, was very clean will be going back for sure ... Thankyou very much for a lovely stay : )
Review 14:Whilst it is really close to the M5 and Tiverton Parkway (just over 5 minute drive for both) it is a bit out of the way and there are some tiny little country roads, just about wide enough for a car, you have to travel down.
Review 15:Unlit tractors on roads leading to the venue on very narrow country lanes - only happened once in two different visits.
Review 16:This accommodation is well-situated for visiting family in the area.
Review 17:Room excellent, facilities in room were brill ,the owners were friendly and explained were the local eating places were, the breakfast was excellent quality and the brambles is off the beaten track but really worth a visit.
Review 18:Nothing
Review 19:The whole stay was excellent from the initial welcome to when we left. The cooked breakfast was excellent it was one of best we had and we have stayed in some very expensive hotels.
Review 20:I was pleasantly surprised, a cottage in a lovely setting. the owners were very accommodating, we were stuck in traffic on the way and they waited until we arrived at 9 in the evening.
Review 21:We were going to a funeral in Exeter and had a long journey from the north and wanted somewhere near the motorway so the location was ideal. We had a very good breakfast at Brambles and an evening meal at the local pub which we could walk to. We did enjoy our three nights at Brambles.
Review 22:Do yourself a favour, book into this B and B. The host was warm and welcoming, the location beautiful, and the best night sleep since arriving in the UK.
Review 23:The bed was a sprung bed and little hard but I didn't stop me sleeping, it is just different from the very soft bed I have at home! Would ask for this room again.
Review 24:The Garden Room was lovely, well equipped, homely and warm. Always a welcome home from a day out in respect of the lights were on and the room looked inviting, a nice touch. The bed was made daily, bins emptied and complimentary tray replenished. When I opened the curtains, I could see the hills which was fab. Alison was very pleasant and I would certainly stay again.
Review 25:Just a little difficult to find in the dark although the instructions were excellent.
Review 26:Very friendly welcome and sharing of local knowledge from the owner. Pretty setting and peace and quiet. Local pub served good quality home cooked food and was very close considering the small hamlet that the BandB is set in. Would happily book again. Excellent drinks tray provided and kettle just boiled when seen arriving.
Review 27:Nothing at all!
Review 28:We loved the remoteness and friendly owners. It was easy to find using our Sat Nav, although the owners did give very good instructions. The nearby pub was very friendly, offering a good range of pub food and beers. However it was 1 km away, down a very narrow, hedgelined quiet lane. We chose to walk and found it fun but you wouldn't do this in bad weather!
Review 29:It was all excellent.
Review 30:The property is very comfortable and good value and excellent value for money, far exceeding expectations in all respects. There are a few single track roads to go down but follow the excellent directions sent by the proprietors then there are no problems with access in a car.

Review 38:Everything was great once we got there. Good instructions on how to find it. Breakfast great. Peaceful rural atmosphere. Nice walk to local pub for dinner.
Review 39:Parking a little tricky. Had to do a lot of manoeuvring to get into, and out of, our space. Would have been nice to have fresh, or at least well-dried, towels for our second day.
Review 40:Excellent breakfast, Really efficiently prepared and served. Unbelievably wide choice. Amazing view from the Garden Room over the Devon countryside. Heavenly peace and quiet. Oodles of hot water on tap; although we were in the annexe, it came through immediately. Sensible, simple-to-work, efficient, sturdy shower.
