Review 1：Poor WiFi but seems to be something common in Amorgos.

Review 2：Global compromise between having a nice view on Katapola bay, being in a quiet environment, having some space for ourselves and being close of all services (car rental, port, shops, etc.). The apartment is very (very) clean, kitchen is sufficiently equiped and the terrace has a very nice view. Perfect situation to move on the island !

Review 3：Locals do not drink tap water so we were told to buy all our drinking water - wifi in the house is close to non existence need to be outside.

Review 4：The place is walking distance from the port. Sophia meet us and took us to our room, she was very nice and helpful. Organised a car for us and told us places to visit. Place was spacious and clean bedrooms a little on the small side.

Review 5：the only problem was that they were not at reception when we arrive, so we needed to call them. But if you know in advance that you can find them in the twin, it is not a problem.

Review 6：The room was perfect, everything to cook at home. Nice terrace (without view, but still nice!). Great value for the money. Discount in motorbike price. Really nice hosts, but they were not in the reception. Good location!

Review 7：This was the best place we stayed in during our trip. It´s small, quiet and clean, and has a very beautiful garden as well as pool area. The very special thing about Georges Pension is Helen and her family/staff, who made us feel very welcome. Helen was very helpful with al our questions.

Review 8：Read this!!Not once was there anyone at reception, if you needed any information too bad there was no one there. The view is spoilt by the rude bar staff. I couldnt enjoy a second of it without being hasseled to buy food or a drink. We tried to drink beer we had purchused at the supremarket on the rooftop but were kicked out (even though we were paying guests). Worst of all they charged my card twice and have overall been very flippant with my card imformation. The place seems nice but I do not recomend anyone stay here. There is a beutiful place close by called Via Via where the people are lovely and you can enjoy the view in piece.

Review 11：It was nice to be picked up from the port, but we had to carry the luggage up some stairs as the location of the hotel was a bit further up the hill (and so was the room). The room as basic but quiet at night. Due to a late arrival, we didn't have much time to enjoy the balcony

Review 12：No staff on site and no information as to where to find them. Luckily we saw a sign in a shop and asked, the shop and the rent-a-car is owned by the family and where check out takes place.

Review 14：I have really nothing to complain about. But what can be disturbing depending on how sensitive you are: thin walls you hear your neighbors (upstairs), but no major problems. wifi did not always work.

Review 17：Vi loved the pittoresc village and the down to earth people. Fantastic Island, stunning scenery and we liked the snorkeling and (small) cliff jumping.

Review 18：We were very close to the Ferry port and town centre.It's just a 2 minute walk. The owner picked us up and guided us to the studio which had a very big balcony with a beautiful view over the port. The owner also rents out scooters and cars and this was done by her mother. Incredibly friendly and very cheap.

Review 19：The apartment was really awesome and the family as well. very good facilities and terrace. They also have a rent a card and a shop nearby. The village is very cool.

Review 46：The only problem was that although there was wifi, it only workedintermittently at times. Other than that everything was great.

Review 47：This was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of the village.The owners were extremely kind and generous, meeting us at the port andhelping us with our bags, giving us fresh eggs from their hens severaltimes, and also baking us a special local treat to take with us when weleft. The garden was gorgeous and the view from our third floor patio ofthe village, sea, and mountains was superb. We loved staying here onthis beautiful island!

Review 48：Noone met us at the port (as they said they would) to take us to the hotel, so we had to find our way ourselv. It was not so hard and you can walk there from the port. A young boy (maybe at the age of 13/14 and could not speak english) met us and gave us a key to the room. We did not see those who rented out the rooms before we checked out. You have to carry your bags quite a bit to the hotel, since there is no roads for cars to drive there

Review 49：Okay rooms (3 rooms included bedroom, kitchen and bathroom + balcony towards the mountain). Quiet, no traffic at all close to the hotel

Katapola is a small village, personally i likes Aeliagi better because it has better beaches, less expensive shops and a little bit more life the owners car rental is not the best one in my opinion, they do not give full insurance, Asset across the street will give you a car for 35 euro a day with full insurance.

Owners have a car rental just at the harbor and you can store your luggage there while you are waiting for the boat. the rooms are spatious and have everything to cook in there (but shops in katapola are very expensive). Owners are very nice and helpful people, the house has beautiful garden, everyone has a space to sit outside. they met us at the port conditioner works perfectly, good beds
