Renovated in 2011, rooms at Wellness Hotel Gyula have air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV and minibar. A hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms.

Review 14：The mattresses of the twin beds were in a poor condition. They were clean, but were not firm anymore. One of them was so curved that almost felt like sleeping in a bath tub.

Review 15：We spent one week in a superior room with our two young children. The room was nice, clean, decent sized taking into account the extra bed and the baby cot. They also provided baby bath tub, potty and child toilet seat. The restaurant serves good food, they also provide child seats, bibs, plastic child plates and cutlery. The hotel's staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa's amenities were just enough for young children, but older ones could get bored. It has one jacuzzi and two pools, the one for the little kids has a slide and some water toys. They have an amazing indoor playground, with slides, a maze and lots and lots of toys.

Review 20：Staff is not good enough with English. When you have full board with check in from 15:00 and lunch serving time 12:00-15:00 you are without possibility to use it. We sent this inquiry, but got back answer that said nothing. In there, we've read that you can have lunch on arrival day, before check-in. This is written in official hotel info that you get in the room.

Review 47：We enjoyed the wellness facilities provided by the hotel. Easy to get to the thermal baths. The hotel provided tickets with 2 entrances for the baths so we could return for lunch! Very good service in the restaurant and bars. Easy to communicate with the staff! Very surprised when some of them addressed us in Romanian language!

Review 52：Parking is a bit expensive (I guess it's like that all around Gyula center). The massages at the Hotel are almost twice the price of the massages in the city spa (9000huf vs 4900huf)

Review 53：Location is great - if you're going to the city spa (a 4 star spa, soon to be 5 stars, primarily for rheuma) you can't be any closer - admission is 500huf for 2hrs of 50m pool, or 2000huf for whole day for everything (warm baths+pool...), or 1600 after 16h (btw, bring your own towels&bathrobes as you don't get any there). The hotel's spa has Finnish sauna (90-100C), Infra sauna (50-60C), steam room, salt room, cold pool (just for dipping after sauna), small pool+children pool, whirlpool... pool temp is 33C. Basically it's everything you could wish for from a spa. Spa works until 20h (on Fri&Sat until 23h). There's option for bike rental, but you can also rent it a bit cheaper in the nearby street. During the non-weekend parts of the week the silence is almost absolute (once you unplug the fridge, that is). The guests are mainly from Hungary, and usually fill up the hotel for the weekend. The rooms are spacious, clean, there's the fridge, the free vault/safe, nice bathroom w/ hair drier, you get spa towels&bathrobes (no slippers though). All in all - very pleased!
