Reviews for Perth Youth Hostel
Review 1:Dorm rooms at Perth university. Rooms were clean, comfortable. Kitchen a few doors down to cook your own meals or restaurants nearby within walking distance
Review 2:Bed too soft. Shower broken. First room allocated was filthy and was not cleaned for me. When I arrived back at 10pm the warden moved me to another room where I discovered next day the shower was broken. Overpriced for the standard of accommodation
Review 3:Having own room where I could lock up my stuff when out
Review 4:Very basic room and bed, even for the price, and not really well cleaned, still smelled like unwashed undergraduate and bed was almost dead... Far away if you don't have a car, wifi worked very intermittently
Review 5:Very friendly staff, and all very easy
Review 6:Initial room was quite warm and was noisy due to traffic. This was quickly remedied by being able to change room.
Review 7:Private single room with en-suite and quite. Get to experience what it might be like been a student at college/university.
Review 8:high quality youth hostel. single rooms with own bathroom. only to share a good equipped kitchen with maximal 5-6 other guests. Never stayed at a more convienient youth hostel.
Review 9:Only had one pillow but bought extra ones with us as we had seen lack of pillows on the reviews
Review 10:Very helpful staff . clean rooms. Exellent location great price
Review 11:The staff was not very helpful - when we arrived, the windows were open, and it was really cold in the room (12° outside...), but the heating didn't work; initially they didn't care about us at all, it took several attempts to get something working.. The trick in the end was too open the doors in the kitchen to trick the thermostat into thinking it was too cold... Also, we wanted to stay one night longer, for which they initially told us it wouldn't be an issue, but then on the last night they said they are full... turned out later, when we already booked something else, the guys was looking at the wrong page in the calendar... - The fire doors of each of the rooms on the corridor can be a bit loud - The bathroom is tiny.. - Furniture is a bit old
Review 12:+ Kitchen area was very nice and modern + Parking not an issue + Rooms are spacious + Wifi works fine
Review 13:Could not get full wi if services as link is controlled by the college. A fair walk to very indifferent Indian carry out. Bed mattress thin for less fit folk than me,

Review 19:Using satnav, the post code took me into the nearby housing estate. I would have done better to follow signs to the college.
Review 20:The staff are exceptionally cheerful, helpful and keen to do all they can to make their guests welcome. They even remembered me by name on my return visit a week later. The accommodation is modern and clean, normally accommodation for students at Perth College. I particularly liked having an en-suite.

Review 24:Friendly staff, simple but good accommodations - youth hostel is a college dorm during the rest of the year. Ask for Perth College when you look for it. Will book it again, if I should return to the area in the future.
Review 25:A bit far out to walk back at night but that can't be helped
Review 26:It was quiet, well off the main road, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean, pleasant to be in and even had a good view.
Review 27:Beds/pillows weren't that comfortable but were of normal hostel standard. The entrance to the building smelt faintly of sick but did not affect our stay or flat/room.
Review 28:Own cooking facilities clean, easy and accessible, rooms clean. Weren't disturbed by other travellers. Clean room. Set up was as in University halls.
Review 29:Pillow worn out (flat). Always sleep with 2/3 - promised another. Never arrived hence poor might's sleep on woefully inadequate one already there. Bed not made so had to do it myself. Bathroom design - sink far too small & couldn't wash face over it as shelf protruded out too far! Very poor design hence floor always covered in water whilst washing.
