Reviews for Kerrigan's B&B

Review 1:Friendly staff, clean modern large room and bathrooms, good breakfast and centrally located. Quiet despite being above a pub. Staff very accommodating and helpful.

Review 2:It's a pub and we had to go into the bar to check in.

Review 3:Adequate accommodation if you want to be close to town. Some parking out the back although there weren't any spaces left when we arrived back late.

Review 4:Fan in bathroom stayed on for approx 20 mins after light turned off, very noisy .

Review 5:staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was yummy and plenty of it .

Review 6:The toilet in bathroom was not fixed properly into floor, you quoted us E60 we where charged E80 and the key stuck in the door , you had to jiggle it

Review 7:the staff where great the place was clean

Review 8:none

Review 11:Lovely hosts, great facilities. Got to do washing and they dried it for me for zero cost. Lovely breakfast. Nice pub downstairs. Quiet location. Free parking.

Review 12:late check out would of beengood but it was a very busy weekend in mulligar

Review 13:we were at a wedding and didnt get up for breakfast, they offered to make us something even though it was way past time.

Review 14:Can be a bit noisy in the evening but it finish early.

Review 15:The Kerrigan family were very helpful and very friendly. The rooms can be a bit noisy depending what is happening in the bar but it finish early. We loved it and there are great restaurants close by.

Review 16:The bedroom smelt of tobacco smoke even though it was meant to be a non-smoking room. Could not get the shower to work and was told the water for a shower was not available until 7.30am.

Review 17:A good location for overnight stay if travelling from Dublin to West of Ireland from late fternoon/evening ferry or airport.

Review 18:Terrible, a disco down stairs, loud music, I could not sleep it was so bad I was awake until 2am .. They would not refund my money when I had discovered how bad it was, I wanted to go to another B&B. next day they never cleaned the room, no towels etc. room had no heating on for two day..They would not apologise they said what do you expect its on top of a pub. Avoid if you want a good night sleep and a warm bed.

Review 19:Nothing...Bad experience. :(

Review 20:Our door would not stay closed on the catch so needed to lock it every time. Would have liked an evening meal to have been served in the pub below.

Review 21:Good location. Slept with windows open and no noise from road or pub. Comfortable, large room and off street car park.

Review 22:A fantastic family run business just like our farms at home in country Western Australia. Congratulations to Brendan, Justin, Natalie and other family members for your welcome.

Review 23:I didn't know how to work the T.V. but it was fine because I was gone for most of the day! :P

Review 24:There was a gig that was going on right across the road and it was just so convenient for me and the price was brilliant!

Review 25:If paying double the price find faults but not for the exceptional price paid

Review 26:Best value for money I've ever gotten, bed was very comfortable, breakfast excellent, no noise from pub whatsoever and a great location.

Review 27:Visited from Manchester with my partner and can truly say it's the best b&b we've stayed in. Clean rooms, friendly and flexible staff, lovely fresh cooked breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more.

Review 28:TV remote didn't work, bedside lamps didn't work, electics did not have correct fittings, one emergency fire extinguisher was missing

Review 29:Location, friendly staff

Review 30:No hairdryer no plug in washbasin in our room 8 thought they would be basic requirements in accommodation as we paid 160 euro for 2 nights b+b which is same price we paid in top hotels and al of these things were in room.

Review 31:We did have a parking space, but if it had been busy, then the spaces would be a problem. This was the only thing but it didn't effect us.

Review 32:Everything, couldn't fault it. Room was light and airy, central in the town, breakfast was really good and staff were very nice.

Review 33:If at all - the only thing to complain about would be a loud environment - but I think this should be the well-known price to pay for town centre and integrated pub :) So better bring earplugs with you, then all should be fine. (In room no. 1 ask for a blind to the corridor window.)

Review 34:- Very friendly and helpful staff - Comfortable bed, cosy rooms, all very clean & tidy - Good breakfast - Fast and stable WiFi - Parking space available - Located directly in town centre, and pub integrated

Review 35:The Beds were a little un-comfy

Review 36:The locality was excellent, for a small family run B&B the reception was outstanding. Albeit it a little dated it was clearly trying to make the best out of it. But really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Breakfast.

Review 37:The shower was not good- complicated and cold not matter what with poor pressure. Pity as everything else was great.

Review 38:The beds were very comfortable, lovely quiet rooms, clean place, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast-yum!

Review 39:problem with showers , a bit hit and miss , sometimes just ran cold . It appears this problem is on going in some rooms

Review 40:nice friendly owners / staff

Review 41:Shower didn't work, water only dripped out and what did come out was freezing cold also when you tried to turn on the tap in the sink the whole tap turned around. Other rooms may be different, we stayed in Room 4 i think.

Review 42:Staff, Location, Cleanliness Pint and the good oul irish breakfast.

Review 43:Shower didn't work in ensuite and renovations to the pub continued outside our window until 10pm when asked to stop they said they would see! Really poor customer service. Expensive for what we ended up getting. Good for young backpackers who don't care but expensive at £110/night for a bed for 8 hours.

Review 44:None

Review 45:The Bed..Wow.. I was given a Double bedroom, talk about comfy, so Luxurious, their to be commended for having expensive Beds which you wouldn't get in a top class hotel. And the room was spotless as was throughout..The Breakfast was first class, great choice of cereals, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, plus an array of cooked breakfast . The poached eggs, " gosh " done to perfection and very quick service too. To top it all off they give you proper percolated Coffee.... I was truly amazed by such quality, it's a credit to them, and the lovely " Girl's " who were both welcoming, helpful and Pleasant !! especially, the one who cook's breakfast as good as her.. Well done and proud I'm sure are your Parent's on raising such lovely mannered girls !! Very rare these days. value for money ? I say big yes, but, You should ask abit more.. Thank you.

Review 46:The lock on the entrance door off the street was very insecure looking. First room offered was over the street and was very unwelcoming. No bedside light.

Review 47:Was able to view available rooms and choose one I preferred over the one I was allocated and was allowed to move into the one I preferred. Bed there was comfortable.

Review 48:The little personal touches i.e. shower gel in the bathroom, amounts to so much, nothing to much for very friendly staff as a family run business we met Brendan, Carmel and the lovely Justin

Review 49:Freshly cooked breakfast was lovely. 2 ladies doing breakfast were very helpful. Extra coffee, toast etc was no problem. Lovely clean room. Staff in pub attached to b&b lovely too.

Review 54:Pretty much everything. Natalie was brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Justin was able to accommodate a 2nd guest in our party in the same room with zero fuss at short notice. Carmel made us a great breakfast the next morning and was great to chat with. Top class family run business - 5 stars.

Review 59:Breakfast was really good. Bed was comfortable. Having a parking space was great.

Review 60:On hindsight might be best to request a room at the back if you're not used to the sound of constant traffic and the noise from the traffic lights.

Review 61:Lovely room, clean, nicely presented with a good proper shower, not a shower curtain in sight

Review 62:Bathroom could do with a touch over. Shower door not run smooth on close.

Review 63:Staff were brillant, friendly & made us feel welcome. Tv stations was great to have a selection of channels.

Review 64:The only bad thing was the bathroom! The shower had only cold water and it didn't drain off correctly! Also the flush on the toilet didn't work properly and the WiFi was REALLY BAD in our room!

Review 65:The room was amazing and the staff was really nice. Also the breakfast was incredible. They even made extra scrabbled eggs with lactose milk for me.

Review 66:The stairs up to the rooms are quite steep, and could be a problem for older people, or if like us if you were at a party and had a few drinks, the room was nice but very basic, no iron and no drawers to put anything in. The fan in the bathroom took ages to go off after use quite noisy and annoying
