Reviews for Zistelberghof
Review 1:Would have loved to eat at the restaurant cause it's supposed to be good - alas we arrived to late (our fault) towels are b&b style (mix and match and not the newest) but everything is very clean
Review 2:We stayed 1 night, breaking our road trip in half and were able to park one car on the way to Italy at Zistelberghof 2 days earlier (very nice and fast e-mail correspondance), arriving a lil later than official check-in wasn't a problem after calling ahead, altough the restaurant was closed by that time (Sunday late at night is not the best time to eat in Werfenweng ;-) - totally our fault though), comfy bed, clean facilities, my boyfriend even got a perfect vegetable omlette upon request (not always easy in Europe), good breakfast buffet with plenty of choices, close to Hohewerfen fortress, Hotel is recently renovated with good facilities and excellent staff
Review 3:We loved everything: - The rooms and bathrooms are new, big and comfortable. - The breakfast and dinner were delicious. - The location is beautiful. - The staff was really nice!
Review 4:The atmosphere just didn't feel right. There was no one at reception in the evening so we had to wander around looking for a staff member with every question we had. Only one staff member spoke English, and the rest of them treated us like a nuisance. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. To sum up, this was the most expensive place we stayed at during our trip and we would have expected much more for that price.
Review 5:the facilities are at a high level
Review 6:This little hotel is a gem and was an absolute highlight (in terms of accommodation) on our tour through Austria. It is situated a little bit out of Werfenweng and a few kilometers from Werfen which didn't bother us, since we were travelling by car. The view is absolutely stunning - you can't get enough of the beauty you see from the large windows of the hotel room. Our room was modern, very spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Very good wifi and excellent breakfasts. We also enjoyed supper every evening at the hotel's restaurant - and it was very good! The hosts (owners of the hotel) are kind and very helpful and certainly contributed to a wonderful stay we will always remember. We highly recommend Zistelberghof to anyone. You will certainly have a very special stay just as we had!
Review 7:No Wi-Fi signal in the first room. No heating overnight in the first room and no heating at all in the second room. The interior design of the second room was poor and the light of the appliances was also poor in the second room. The curtains of the second room were less than a half the width required of the window. The electric heater it was given to me to replace the lack of heating in the room was making a short-circuit at the resistor and also burning smell, so it was not safe at all for a room completely built of wood. So if the hotel staff will fix above issues the comfort will be higher.
Review 8:The location was pretty even if a little difficult to get there.
Review 9:The wifi connection worked in some corners of the room but not everywhere.
Review 10:The room was very large, nice and with an overwhelming view to the mountains.
Review 11:a bit difficult to drive up to the hotel, through a small narrow road, WIFI was sometimes very slow, I could hear the couple from next room talking
Review 12:Great view, very big and nicely decored rooms, high standard of the whole hotel, good breakfast, no problems with later check-in, friendly staff
Review 13:Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good, room was spacious, clean and overall nice.
Review 14:The locatoin and the wiew were excellent. The surround of the hotel wunderful. Hotel personal was very friendly and helpfull.
Review 15:Very authentic, good value for money.
Review 16:We were There in july and IT Was Very hot outside and no aircondition in the Room. But Very Nice view.
