Review 1：Wifi should be free in this day and age! The meat at dinner was of good quality but to serve with lettuce as an accompaniment was a disappointment. Food could have been better. No fruit available at the business lunch buffet which was a let down.

Review 19：Amazing setting in mature parkland with uninterrupted views of the Perthshire hills and countryside. The gardens are beautiful and the secluded rose garden most charming. The Suite, situated outwith the main hotel was comfortable, homely, decorated with Laura Ashley fabrics and so peaceful.

Review 28：The room service food was 90% inedible. The room was outdated and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and in terrible condition. Definitely didn't feel like a 4* suite.

Review 30：The room was very small. The ensuite was tiny. We only stayed one night it was poor. We checked with reception before we left for the day what the arrangements were for arriving back late. We were told it's no problem there is a night porter. When we got back late at night we had to knock for around 10 minutes and must have woke half the guests to be heard and eventually get in to our beds.

The area has fantastic nature walks to suit all capabilities and 2 golf courses. We walked regularly seeing red deer on each of our walks as well as a wide range of birds.

Review 43："Double" bed was clearly two singles pushed together, and each was on a fractionally different hight. Pillows were very flat, although there were 6 of them. TV had annoying lines burned into the screen.

Despite refurbishment of bathrooms in superior rooms the continuing old world ambiance standards have declined with turnover of staff and facilities are becoming worn. Didn't like the poor heating in the rooms and the lack of hot water or the restricted menu and high prices for more average cuisine. Expect more of superior rooms and might be better in future choosing a more modern hotel for stop-overs.

The hallway leading to our room was very well decorated and had a welcoming feel to it. The food was also acceptable. Review 59：Unbelievable - you are not permitted to wear round neck t-shirts, denims or trainers in the dining room! - What century is the hotel management living in? This sort of nonsense is not acceptable in a hotel which costs significantly more than £100 per night. It might be acceptable for a golf club - where you choose whether or not to join a club but in a hotel to arrive and find this written in the information pack in the bedroom is ridiculous. If I had arrived earlier in the afternoon I would have left immediately - I have no wish to support this sort of establishment and I suggest unless you support 'dress codes' in hotels you also avoid staying there.

Review 60：Eventhough the room we had was great it wasn't the one that we booked. We were under the impression we were getting a fridge and microwave.

The rooms, meals and staff were faultless. We cannot wait to return as soon as we can.
