Reviews for Willowbrook Accommodation
Review 1:The room was superb with views across the countryside. Everything you could possibly need in the little kitchenette including a toaster, pots and pans and a fridge just in case you fancy a cheeky bottle of wine and some light bites. Sarah is an absolute darling. Full of fun and nothing was too much to ask for. Will definitely book again.. :-)
Review 2:A bit hard to find, even with GPS. This is not a four star property, much less three star. Bathroom and shower very small.
Review 3:Friendly and helpful innkeeper. Conveniently located, once found.
Review 4:The room was excellent and the view over the brook and the fields tranquil. It was just over a mile into Chepstow. Our host was excellent - chatty and helpful and her full welsh breakfast was superb and set us up for the day.
Review 5:Lovely little b'n'b in a beautiful setting, and the room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and being able to have a little kitchenette was ideal. Sarah and her family were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly, and she cooks a mean breakfast! Just wish I could have stayed a bit longer but I will definitely come back here if I visit the area again. Lots of information also available on the local area for walks and attractions, they have thought of everything here to make their guests feel welcome, thanks Sarah.
Review 6:The road is a little busy, but our room was quiet and we weren't bothered by road noise, thanks to the double glazed windows.
Review 7:We were warmly welcomed by the friendly host, everything was lovely, clean, fresh, comfortable. Our room overlooked a lovely little brook and green meadow. The freshly cooked breakfast was scrumptious.
Review 8:Could not fault the stay.
Review 9:The hostess was very good friendly and cheerful. The breakfast was very good top quality produce well cooked and presented. Would use this BB again if in the area.
Review 10:The bed was super comfortable and the rooms were spacious with good facilities. Had a lovely walk along the gurgling brook through a buttercup filled picturesque meadow right behind the house.
Review 11:Our room was very comfortable and well maintained and plenty of choice for breakfast-good portions and beautifully cooked. Sarah is very caring and attentive host.
Review 12:It is on the A48, handy to find but a bit of road noise
Review 13:Great welcome., We didn't need but like the facilities fridge and microwave in room. Nice view onto fields at the back
Review 14:The apartment style in room wasnt to my taste or necessary but I can seeit would be useful to others. It also meant the shower room was a littleon the small side, Sara had been inventive with the design but it wasntto my personal taste. Due to it being a business trip wifi is veryimportant and the signal in my room was terrible which was veryfrustrating. A booster box would solve this and was a minor issue.
Review 15:Sara, the owner, could not be more accommodating. She was fabulous. Fromthe point of booking she assisted me in my every need, including latecheck in (I arrived at 11:30pm). Her cheery personae and excellentbreakfast made the stay delightful. I had a conference to attend thefollowing day at St Pierre Golf Club so the location was perfect. Pleasenote it is cash payment only. This is made clear on arrival butbookings.com need to make it clearer.
Review 16:The location and facilities were perfect for our visit. The breakfast was excellent, with locally sourced produce and traditional local dishes (gran's recipe for the laverbread).
Review 17:Very comfortable room and the breakfasts were fantastic. The family who own the property are at the top of the scale for their Welsh hospitality. Bob and Valerie - Waterdown, Ontario Canada
Review 18:The guesthouse is in a lovely location with great views of the countryside from the room. We were greeted with a very warm welcome, the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Great breakfast. Highly recommend.
Review 19:Location of bed & sloping ceiling of room meant that it was impossible to sit up in bed to read or watch TV.
Review 20:Excellent friendly & welcoming hostess. Great Breakfast. Room well furnished & clean. Good location. Excellent pub/restaurant across road.
Review 21:Nothing
Review 22:Stayed here for one night on business as a lone female on business and what a pleasure it was. Sarah is wonderful, completely accommodating and the rooms are beautiful clean and nicely furnished, the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, I couldn't recommend this place enough.
Review 23:The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we only booked for one night, we didn't want to leave such a gorgeous little place in a very picturesque area
Review 24:From the offset we were made welcome, we arrived very early as intended on walking around the local area, we were only there for two days and one night so wanted to get as much in as possible we were told we were welcome to park up even though we weren't due there til later on that afternoon. Sarah was absolutely amazing, so welcoming and down to earth, really putting us at our ease, the room was immaculate and everything we needed was to hand.Breakfast the following morning was great quality and very good value for money. We enjoyed it so much we have booked the family room for the summer to bring the children :)
Review 25:Accommodation of main room with adjoining 2 single bed room was perfect for our family of four. Clean, comfortable and hassle free. Sarah was super lovely, made a delicious breakfast and pancakes for our children. So much better than staying in a hotel. Highly recommend.
Review 26:- Nothing.... everything was perfect.
Review 27:- Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, with its own private entrance. - The hostess was charming and very welcoming. - Breakfast served in the sun lounge was very filling. - Our 10 month puppy was welcomed with a secure garden in which to exercise.
Review 28:Only issue we had was the wet room leaked into the kitchen area when both of us had had a shower. WiFi was poor too if you needed it but that wasn't such a issue for us. Lastly you could hear alot from the people upstairs even them only walking about.
Review 29:Sarah the host was lovely. Made us feel so welcome. The room was lovely and clean. Kitchen facilities were very good & the breakfast on a morning was top notch. Will be visiting again in the New Year! Thankyou Sarah!

Review 31:Felt at home here lovely lady was having stressful time with relatives in hospital but she still made time for us nothing seemed like too much trouble it was a great base
Review 32:The breakfast was amazing. The 'blurb' says that everything is locally sourced, but it really is! It's far and away the best B & B breakfast I have had. Also, the hostess is really friendly, welcoming and flexible.

Review 47:The only minor thing was that my room was in the front of the Guesthouse on a semi-main road & it was a little noisy.
Review 48:Friendliness & kindness of the owner. Large room. Good facilities including bottled water in the fridge. The room was very clean and the morning breakfast was very tasty. Altogether a good place to stay particuklarly if you want to get to the Golf Course or Horseracing in Chepstow.
Review 49:Shame about the proximity to the main road because it was a bit noisy. Couldn't fault the view out the back though. Also with the only Pub in the village closed for a refurb at the time it was a bit of a long leg to go anywhere else.

Review 113:Everything else
Review 114:Couldn't fault this place!
Review 115:We received the warmest welcome upon arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for host Sarah. Breakfasts were magnificent and kept us going until dinner time! A comfortable bed, hot shower, lots of room to spread out our suitcases and real milk in the fridge for a cuppa were much appreciated. We felt we were really in the country as we ate our breakfast looking across a bubbling brook to the contented cows in the field beyond. We were delighted to have chosen this lovely guesthouse for our 4 night stay (loved it so much we extended) and wholeheartedly recommend Willowbrook to others. Good car Parking too. Thank you Sarah and Rhys for making us so welcome and for providing a service above and beyond that expected of a BnB.
