Review 1:Beautifully renovated tasteful accommodation on a working farm. Room was cosy, warm and welcoming with all amenities. En suite with power shower. Host was friendly and interesting. Breakfast was delicious.

Review 2:Wifi was weak in the rooms, but if you are there to enjoy web access this is not the place for you.

Review 3:The proprietor was incredible! Very friendly and a great cook!

Review 4:No bad experiences at all. The SatNav post code gets you there though it can be difficult to see the "Common Barn Farm" signs in the dark (as they are not allowed to be lit up in a National Park!).

Review 5:A very homely B&B. The hearty breakfast was really excellent. Very conveniently located for visiting AstraZeneca in Macclesfield (and also for visiting the peak district had we wanted to). Lovely views across the countryside on waking up in the morning.

Review 6:We came in and was astounding to see a great little gem like this. The owners were friendly it was clean and the breakfast is the best .. All in all a great find and we will go back.

Review 32:Feel welcomed since arrived with a freedom to explore and admire a view from the fields

Review 33:The facilities are of very high quality. We can feel that the owners have put their heart in when designing the B & B because everything is well taken care of.

Review 34:No mobile signal. The photograph from the website implied the farm was by a lake. There is a reservoir near but only visible from one of the fields so the location was not quite what we had expected.

Review 35:Bedroom was fine. Nice lounge to sit in if you wanted. Wifi good particularly as we had no mobile signal at the farm. Good breakfast. Stunning views of the countryside.

Review 77:Poor hygiene in the room and bathroom Uncomfortable beds and pillows Poor breakfast

Review 78:friendly landlady

Review 79:location old style buildings breakfast owner

Review 80:The attitude of the owner. I asked for a different kettle as the one provided was dirty inside and aged. It was replaced by a broken one and then one that had mould in it. Eventually after complaining we received the original kettle cleaned. The attitude of the owner was terrible. She made it clear that asking for a clean kettle was an inconvenience to her. Shame as the b&b has real potential.

Review 81:The area is beautiful. Lots of walks. Some nice local pubs and restaurants.

Review 86:only one bedside locker otherwise perfect

Review 87:friendly but not intrusive service beautiful location excellent breakfast separate sitting room for guest use

Review 88:What's not to like about Common Barn Farm? Only a minor one, but if possible Rona could veggie sausages be added to the delicious & already extensive breakfast menu selection. Thanks

Review 89:The stunning location & superb hospitality/flexibility. Perfect escape from urban life within easy reach of the city. A good mixture of international & local guests. The little touches/surprises were well thought out too such as chocolates left in room for valentines weekend.

Review 90:More something to be aware of than anything. The post code if you are using a Satnav takes you to the next farmhouse. I arrived at night to with little street lighting in the vicinity, it can be a little awkward to find.

Review 91:It was exactly as expected. Quaint and homely farm house surrounded by wonderfully scenery. The breakfast was fantastic.

Review 92:I've stayed at many B&Bs, for work and for holidays, but I felt more comfortable here than anywhere else. Great breakfast, great location. I will be going back!

Review 93:I like it because it's bedroom is nice and the breakfast is very tasty. we also visited the farm where we saw sheep and cows. Kids like them a lot.

Review 94:The access road is a challenge for vehicles with low ground clearance, although we managed, albeit slowly, in our Aston Martin without damage!

Review 95:Quiet, isolated farm environment set in beautiful scenery with excellent accommodation. We were made very welcome by Rona, the hostess, who also prepared the wonderful farmhouse breakfasts.

Review 96:A Rustic farm situated in a beautiful location. The owner is lovely, very friendly and treats you to a well cooked breakfast. There are some nice pubs in the surrounding villages to eat and great walks to go on. Definately reccomend

Review 97:This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and everything is thought of and provided. Mrs Rona Cooper is very pleasant and produces a lovely, healthy breakfast (with choices) every morning. The area around the farm is breathtaking, the air is fresh and it is an idyll of quietness and peace. There are lots of places to visit in the area, from stately homes to museums and wonderful walks and hikes in the Peaks. I highly recommend Common Barn Farm for a long weekend or a full holiday.

Review 98:Quiet [place with beautiful views in a spectacular setting. Very friendly indeed and we were made very welcome. Excellent breakfast. Clean comfortable and adequate room.

Review 99:What a wonderful chance find! We'd booked for travelling to RHS Tatton Park but with the beautiful weather and scenery we enjoyed exploring the locality just as much.

Review 100:We didn't mind as we don't eat cooked breakfast but no cookedbreakfast until 7.30am but as we had to leave by 7.30 it was notpossible. So we had to help ourselves to breakfast which was fine forus! And see ourselves out!

Review 103:Lovely place to stay, great room, fantastic breakfast, and to top it all, we got to see a lamb being born! The kids loved it. Would definitely stay again.

Review 104:We spent 3 magnificent days at Common barn farm, enjoying walks in the fields around. The hotel was very comfortable and cosy, we were surprised by having a bath (not just a shower cabin) in our room. We liked the variety of meals for breakfast and it was delicious. There were lots of information materials about the district, the owner gave us a map of surroundings as well, and helped a lot with tips on the further travel. We felt very welcome at Common Barn Farm. Thank you!

Review 105:Common Barn Farm was a real home away from home!! It was in a lovely peaceful (and beautiful) location and Rona couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and meet our needs. It is also well located for access to the Peak District - 5/5.
