Review 1：The room was a bit noisy. Where we were (Room 429) we could hear people walking and talking in the rooms around us. Stairs were also squicky and noisy on our floor.

Review 2：Staff were very friendly and helpful with our various inquiries or needs at the desk. Check-in and check-out was swift. Breakfast staff was also very accommodating and did everything with a smile.

Review 3：We really enjoyed the location and the beautiful, historic setting. There was an enormous car park. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and courteous polite service in the bar and restaurant. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and had a lovely lake view. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Review 24：what needs attention is a member of staff in the bar area who needs some customer facing training he is over zealous in carrying out his duties. He cleaned and sprayed the table next to us with a strong smelling chemical he also used the hoover close by and addressed his colleagues in public behind the bar and at one stage disappeared from behind the bar without notice which necessitated going to reception for service. Otherwise he is mannerly a good worker who needs training and needs to be more discreet.

Review 28：The whole atmosphere in the hotel was homely. The staff were all veryhelpful and friendly. There was many places to go within the hotel andyou felt you were in a different place. There was a wedding on one ofthe day's/night that we were staying there and you wouldn'tnotice a thing, but there were nice little effects put around the hotelof the occasion, which was a lovely gesture. We didn't leave thehotel one of the days, enjoying the atmosphere, the homely feel, theleisure centre, the food (which was delicious and plentiful). The bestthing ever was being able to sit in a hotel and eat a 99 cone......yes awhipped ice-cream 99. It was the best idea ever, never saw it before ina hotel. There was a kids camp going on too and you wouldn't evennotice they were there!!!

Review 29：View out the window was disgusting, filthy dirty roof/balcony. Windows were also dirty inside and out. Only two sockets, both of which were beside each other and were far away from the beds. Toiletries were very basic.

Review 37：We loved the food! The restaurant was elegant but not overbearing even though we had a child of 3 in our party. The bar food was delicious and great value and the staff excellent. We were very well looked after and felt they went the extra mile. We had dessert out in the gardens so our young daughter could play on the bouncy castle. I can't say enough about the food it was really yummy and memorable and the breakfast were delicious traditional Irish fare with gorgeous fresh breads! We can't wait to go back!!

Review 38：We were in a family room which was great but it meant that other rooms around us were filled with families. At midnight screaming children running along the corridors making the lights come on is not funny.

Review 39：It seemed to be activities for all members of our family, age between 2 and 50. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night (strictly planned, so we could not adjust this), but we still had a great afternoon, evening and morning at Bloomfield House Hotel. Extraordinary helpful and smiling staff!

Review 40：Ordered breakfast in bed and had already paid for the room with reception so my partner paid the waiter in cash and we were also charged by card, better communication needed for issues like this. But other than that we had a lovely stay.

The hotel staff were excellent through all phases from the initial organising meetings to the room layout, quality of food and efficient bar staff. The room itself was spacious and Breakfast the following morning was a pleasant experience.

Review 49：Rooms were very small. On our second night the bar manager accused us of not paying for two of our groups bar meals. We produced a visa receipt showing our payment, however we felt the bar manager did not believe us and felt like he still wanted us to pay. No apology was offered for what was in essence their mistake entirely. It really put a damper on our weekend as we felt like we were being accused of stealing and obviously we're not happy with this. If the manager had to ask us nicely did we forget to pay and apologise when he realised his and his staffs mistake instead of the accusatory tone which he used and the general feeling he portrayed of not believing us everything would have been fine.

Review 51：I think the hotel could do with a little bit of a 'facelift', while maintaining it's 'relaxed charm', as carpet and furnishings were somewhat 'worn and jaded'. I would have appreciated a bit more selection at breakfast particularly on the cold counter, though the home made brown bread was a tasty bonus.

Review 52：I liked the relaxed ambience and delightful lake view from the bedroom window and at breakfast. The hotel offered the best value for money in the location, i.e. in and around Mullingar, on that day. I had a very relaxing and exhilarating hour availing of the leisure centre facilities including swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which, along with a brisk walk in the gardens, gave my tired spirits a much needed uplift..

Review 53：We had a huge room but it only had one double mains socket - very poor. Also although it had free wifi which is great, the connection was dropped every time your device went to sleep. - quite annoying.

Review 54：Wonderful setting, loved the lake and fields. The building is like a stately home but very open and welcoming. We were there for a wedding which was done wonderfully and the food was delicious.

Review 65：We just went down for Life Festival at the end of May and although we didn't spend that much time using the hotel and it's facilities, the hotel/rooms itself and the cleaners/hotel staff were very nice and also very understanding in terms of the times we would arrive back from the festival! The pool is lovely and the food and drinks were nice also so will defo be back again!

Review 131：We had a wedding afters in this hotel and the staff are so courteous and the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. The bedrooms were a great size for our guests as was our suite. Great views too! We were recommended a local DJ Kevin Matthews and Celtic Dance Fusion by the hotel and both were outstanding! All our guests had a great night! Many thanks to Marie, and Sharon for assisting in our celebrations and making everyone feel welcome! :)

Review 134：I did not like the room I stayed with my two friends because it was very dark. Rooms were hard to find them and we did need to drag our cases over few steps. It was not easy!
