Review 1：Clean, airy room and friendly, welcoming hosts. Just across the road from Club Vass windsurf hire so you can keep an eye on how much the flags are fluttering and then make a quick dash when the wind starts to blow.

Review 3：The owner is nice and helpful, cleaning lady was replacing all sheets and towels every day and the room was crystal clean all the time. The hotel is nice, looks new, there's a pool in front, but we did not use it since we were on the beach every morning. We enjoyed every bit of it and I would recommend it as a holiday resort to anyone.

Review 4：The soundproofing of the rooms could be better; The sea view is not actually a "sea view". Yes, you can see the sea but the hotel is not on the first line;

Review 6：Kalias Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Vasiliki. The Politis Family runs this hotel and they put every ounce of care and love into their business. We felt comfortable from day one and were very saddened when our stay was over. I highly and proudly recommend the Kalias Hotel.

Review 7：At reception they codnt get us a taxi and I had to find one myself (very easy). The rooms in the ground floor are designed poorly - facing the pool and the garden but if you want to go there you have to come from the back which is a long way or jump over to the balcony. Internet was very slow and most of the time we couldn't connect.

Review 9：Spiros and Svetlana are wonderful hosts and people! They take a lot of care of their hotel and guests. The whole hotel was always kept clean and tidy, room cleaning was made every day. They helped us with all questions we had - transport, a visit to doctor, choosing the right beaches, restaurants and places to see. The hotel is quite near the beach where you can swim or windsurf anytime. Bars, restaurants, shops , everything you need you will reach on foot. A highly recommended place!

Review 11：We stayed 5 Days in Vassiki at Kalias Hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the pool after a long day at the beach. The beach is a 2 min walk. Spiro and his wife were super nice and very easy to deal with. Their breakfast was very good(loved the eggs). Will be back to see them because the beaches are one the best I have ever seen.

Review 14：The hotel is located close to the beach. The owners and personnel are amazing and helpful people. The breakfast is prepared by Svetlana, the owner, and includes a great variety. The room (of four) has enough space and is clean. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.

Review 15：Charming family run hotel in a great location - 50 m from the beach and windsurfing station as well as 5-10 min walki to either side of the village for tavernas / bars / seniors and etc. Svetlana and Spiros are amazing hosts making you feel instantly at home and ready to help with whatever questions you have (and home cooked delicious breakfasts are simply to die for!!!!)

Review 16：Only one issue: Maybe because of the location of the hotel (or maybe the room we had in particular), the noise produced by the vehicles on the main road was quite unpleasant. Bikers, large vehicles and garbage collectors were so noisy early in the morning in case you decide to sleep with the terrace door opened.

Review 20：Stavros and Svetlana are excellent hosts. The cleanness of the hotel, the convenient location by the beach, spacious rooms, friendly attitude and personal approach are a big value added of the place. Stavros is very helpful with all kinds of advice for places to visit, how to get there, weather forecast, etc. The breakfast is very reach, including fresh vegetables and fruit. The swimming pool by the hotel is a good attraction for the kids. Vassiliki is an excellent location to explore the island and to travel to the other Ionian islands. There is a big choice of tavernas around, there is a big supermarket that is open until late in the evening. There is a windsurfing school on the beach. Both the hotel and the location are very good value for the money. I would definitely recommend the hotel to other friends.

Review 21：Upon arrival we got a room looking much worse (especially the bathroom) than what we saw in the pics, we insisted and showed the pics from the site and our room was then changed with a good one. On the upper floor they were renovating the rooms and in the first 2 mornings the workers were making big noise starting 7-8 o'clock. I heard more people at the reception complaining about the situation, so the rest of the mornings were ok :) Bed was too short for a 1,80m guy, but yeah.. most hotels of this type have smaller beds (remember it's a 3 stars hotel) The thing from the balcony where you could dry your cloths was old and therefore painted with white paint -> all my cloths had some white stripes afterwards

Review 23：When we booked Kalias we didn't know much about Lefkada and Vassiliki at all, our first impression when we arrive was a pleasure of quickest and easiest entrance to our room, which is a blessing for a traveller ;) The hotel position, hosts hospitality and access to all place in southern Lefkada makes it a great place to stay. Whether you want to access surfing or go to the famous beaches of Porto Katsiki or Egremni.

Review 24：We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. We got a large room with beautiful scenery of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. The room and hotel very clean. Excellent breakfast at the hotel, with something new every day. Hotel owners are decent people and very nice. They were happy to help with any problem or request. Review 26：Of course not a problem of the hotel itself, but with the exception of Porto Katsiki, Egkremnoi and a couple of other beaches, Vasiliki is very isolated from the rest of the island. Vasiliki beach itself is mostly suitable for water sports (mainly windsurfing) and not so much swimming.

Review 27：If you opt for Vasiliki (main reasons being the proximity to the famous west-coast beaches and/or the windsurfing amenities of Vasiliki itself), this is an ideal hotel. I consider the very clean and comfortable rooms with a nice balcony and bathroom, the swimming pool and the parking lot as the principle advantages. A big supermarket is also located within 5'-10' walking distance.

Review 43：We stayed at Kalias Hotel in early September and we had a great experience. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We had asked them were we could wash our clothes that we had accumulated after 2 weeks of travel and they offered to wash them for free. The manager assisted us numerous times in our travel plans and always provided some good recommendations for local places to visit. The room was large with two large balconies with sea and mountain views and very clean. Breakfast was simple but very tasty with something different each day. Overall the hotel was great value for money, quiet and clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

Review 44：The bathroom was below expectations for a 3-star hotel - a number of things need to be replaced and organised in a more thoughtful way to ensure convenience.

Review 45：The sewage smell in the bathroom was quite a nuisance for us. The room was poorly lit. Higher wattage bulbs would be an inexpensive solution. Although not an inherent problem of Kalias hotel, the resort of Vasiliki, Lefkada was rather a disappointment in terms of services, facilities and cleaness. For that matter, Kalias hotel is a good facility is a not-so-good resort.

Review 46：The hotel is well positioned in Vasiliki, within comfortable walking distance from the "useable" strip of the beach, and not too far away from downtown area. The breakfast is good to great, depending on your expectations. Anyway, consider that it's probably one of the best breakfasts you can get in a hotel in Vasiliki. Kudos to the staff, very friendly and positive. The rooms are large and cleaned daily. Overall, this hotel is a good option if you are looking for an accommodation in Vasiliki.

Review 50：We had a very good accommodation here. The owner was very nice and helped us a lot, especially since we arrived late at night because of a car accident. The place was very clean, towels were changed every day, sheets every two days. They were very nice and gave us a big-big room since we were during our honeymoon in Vasiliki. It’s true that it was a room intended for 3-4 persons and we were only two. The room had a good refrigerator, including a small and useful freezer. Wi-Fi worked fine, also in the room. The sun blackouts from the windows were great! We had 2 balconies and this made it very easy to let fresh chilly air enter the room every evening. One side of the room faced the mountain, the other side offered a lateral view of the sea. The hotel is not a luxurious one, it’s a medium family-owned hotel but the price was ok and we had a very good time there. A great thanks to the owners! They were very welcoming in every point of view. Vasiliki is a great place for sea sports. It also has a medium beach compared to others on the island. Beautiful beaches can be reached also by car but the final part of the roads (reaching some beaches) are not very car friendly. We took a 15 minutes car drive to the nearby port of Nidri where numerous boat trips around the island were available at very affordable costs.

Review 51：Some vegetables or salads and fruit can be added to the breakfast. Atleast Greec has tomato's in tones :-) Vasiliki is a bit far from thecity of Lefkas, so if you want to party at night there, or in closerNydri, consider an hour for driving.

Review 52：The Hotel: Has excellent location, if you are for adventure through theisland or windsurfing and other water sports, but still quiet as its ona 10 min walk to the old town center. The rooms were cleaned everyday,with discretion if you want to sleep till late, we were never botheredby the housekeeping stuff. The pool and the garden are always clean andyou can use it all day. There is a big oak shade in the garden so youcan keep yourself away from the sun. Usually in Greece, the breakfastis the same every day in most of the hotels, but considering there isno big cooking kitchen, this was fair enough and you have unlimitedresources, so its not that bad for quick snack meal before you go tobeach. You have homemade bread, butter, Greek yoghurt, cheese, ham,boiled eggs, cereals and cold and hot drinks The Stuff: Very friendly,the owner and his family are always polite and helpful, if you needanything. We were late for breakfast several times, they never refusedto serve us. Stavros, the owner is always of help to give you a guidewhere to go and how to get there. When we arrived earlier, our roomwasn't ready so he offered us one of the bigger apartments to stay.The Town: Vasiliki itself offers everything you need for a quiet andrelaxing vacation, several bars and many taverns with lots of foodchoice and for a good price. It is a family destination on the islandso if you want crowd and wild parties this is not the place, whichmakes it perfect for quiet vacation. West side coast is very close, soyou can access to the famous beaches really fast with a car. Very goodvalue for the money

Review 53：Regarding the hotel, the breakfast was very basic and without variations whatsoever. Regarding the location, Vasiliki is not the best beach (for sunbathing and kids' fun) in Lefkada, so we had to drive to other beaches nearby (there are exquisite beaches in Lefkada) nearly each day (20-40 minutes drive).

Review 54：Very comfortable rooms (we were in a triple room - quite spacious), with all furniture and accessories in good working order. Bathroom was reasonably large and well equipped. The owner is really friendly and helpful. The location (Vasiliki) is a windsurf/sailing friendly beach.

Review 57：The hotel was very close to the beach as it was across the road. The kids enjoyed the pool also. The wifi in the rooms was excellent. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which suited us perfectly. The shutters and doors of the apartment were very good in not letting in the morning light and was soundproof. The owners were extremely helpful in letting us know which beach we should visit if it's a windy day. They were also kind enough to allow us to have breakfast there after 10am as we woke up late.

Review 58：Kalias is a beautiful resort in the style of authentic Greek, located inthe bay of Vasiliki. Photoes of the hotel are real, nearby there are nohotels under construction. Sandy beach is across the street from thehotel. There is a lovely swimming pool with fresh water and tablesnearby convenient for families with children. At the entrance to thehotel has an atm machine, it is very helpful. Rooms are air-conditioned.There is fast Internet with Wi-Fi access, the rooms have a refrigeratorand a large clean bathroom. If you speak Greek, in English or in Russianyou will not have any problems in communicating with the hotel staff. Itoffers a great service, a cozy, comfortable rooms, a welcomingatmosphere and a quiet, relaxing vacation. This is a great choice forbusiness, family, romantic and beach holidays.

The hotel is very handy for the beach anddirectly behing Club Vass where were had rented windsurfing kit - Icould sit on my balcony and see when the afternoon cross wind came in.The room was cool and simple yet comfotable - and spotlessly clean. Also the bathroom looks like it has recently been refurbished - very nice and again VERY clean! The family that runs the hotel were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much for them. On our last day we checked out in the morning but wanted to windsurf before leaving. They took care of our stuff while we were at the beach and then gave us a room to change and shower in. What is more they even gave us a lift to the bus stop. We will definitely use this hotel again.
