Review 6：The restaurant is a mess! 1. Rude waiters,especially the greeks.The only nice guy was Alex. 2.There is a dressing code for gents at dinner,they have to wear long trousers! I wouldn't mind if someone had told me in advance,not at the dinner in front of everyone!Thank you George for making me go back to my room and change! We left Avalon a bit disappointed,we felt unwelcome,confused .Nobody told us about the greek show and that the tables outside were reserved at dinner,we didn't know about the rules they have regarding the half board or all inclusive. Oh,I almost forgot,the worst wifi I ever seen...3 days incredible slow and 3 days didn't worked.

Review 8：There are too many rules that the guests need to follow. Personnel is actually not very friendly and the hospitality of the hotel in general has to be worked on! The only person that was really amazing is the maître/headwaiter Georgio. Good job Georgio!!

Review 12：Food is typical "All Inclusive" style. Several items (including juice during breakfast) is for "All Inclusive" guests only(!). Strict time policy on meals is not what I look for during holidays. There are still not finished works. Wifi is dreadful. Super slow if it works.

Review 16：I was there for a week and it waa really good. .staff were great and food was excellent. The only thing was internet was bad and no entertainment. ..nothing to do except drink at night time

Often staff were un-aware that food had run out with guest stood about waiting as often no one around to ask !. Needs a staff presence during meal times. Likewise only one bar in the hotel often with no one behind it.

Review 21：Unfortunately I have a big list of thigs we did not enjoy: This is definitely not a real 3 star hotel. Really bad food, which was re-used; Drinks were low quality: for example If you require a lemonade, you will not receive one as they do not offer fresh juice drinks at all; bad wine and beer; Flies all over the restaurant; We did not manage to sleep: dogs were barking all the night; Clearly the worst place we ever selected and I am not recommending it if you are looking for a great vacation; The owners of the hotel have 0 client orientation and act in an arrogant way. All inclusive at this hotel is a joke...we had much better food at local tavernas than what they offer. For eaxmple they offer chips every day (this is not healthy food!), unlabeled food, fruits are not riped: an example is the honeymelon which was always not riped...and the list could go on. It was a huge disappointment!

Review 23：The rooms were not clean & we had to remind the staff to take care with regards to the cleaniness of our room. This was the only downfall of this property. But suprisingly the hotel general grounds were clean.

Review 41：We saw many ships, fantastic view, owned by a lovely family and their very friendly fellow staff, fresh rooms, no kids, buffet, birthday cake (THANKS!), Luna & Snow White. If you're going to Zante town, the hotel is the best option!

Review 42：Staff were really friendly, professional and accommodating and had a pick up and drop off service to and from the airport. The high up position of the hotel means the balcony views are AMAZING - mountains, town and sea view. Good proximity to Zakynthos town. The hotel was very clean and bright and newly renovated. It's quite an uphill hike to get to the hotel by foot (which takes about 20 minutes), especially as there aren't many pavements and the road is winding, so a car is useful. However, a taxi from town only cost 7 Euros.
