Hotel Marina is set in an over 300-year-old house on the waterfront of Fažana, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Renovated in 2011, all rooms are air conditioned and have free Wi-Fi.
The modern furnished rooms are all equipped with a work desk, a safe and satellite TV. Each private bathroom has a modern hydro massage shower.

Review 7：It was a well kept small hotel (only 9 rooms!) with a quaint and homey feel. We were very impressed with the staff service, all very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was a highlight, a range of food and drinks for no extra price as some hotels might add. The location was lovely, right on the Marina where beaches, restaurants, etc. are right on your doorstep. Very reasonable price for such a lovely short stay.

Review 8：Small rooms. The seawiew is not worth paying for because the windows are small and high up on the wall. The security was not good, the back door was often open and it was nobody in the reseption. Keys to all the rooms were lying there. We told them once and it was just the same the next day.

Review 11：The location, staff and food. A large leisurely breakfast outdoors overlooking the little harbour is a great start to the day. The staff are exceptional! They are very welcoming and are quietly efficient and funny, nothing is a problem to them even when very busy. The food is particularly good, the fish dishes are highly recommended. This is a great little hotel but don't tell anyone as we might not get a room next time we are hope to be in Fazana!!

Review 12：I was disappointed with the room, given the reviews. It was at the back, rather dark with a small window opening on to a kitchen extractor. Sea front rooms may be different. The room was also very bare - no pictures, nowhere to put suitcase (so on floor), no table lamp for the small desk that was against a wall etc. Bathroom fittings didn't work properly and to get assistance took a long time - I was told people were busy serving in the restaurant. That tells a story really, essentially this place is a restaurant with rooms.

Review 19：Fazana is a great little town, packed with tourist, close to a national park, with blue flag beaches. Perfect spot for a vacation. Hotel Marina was in the heart of the town, literally 3 steps from the waterfront. The hotel has a great reastaurant on the front floor, always full woth people, so it can be a bit noisy. We got a room on the top (third) floor, facing a back alley, but it was still a littlebit noisy. The rooom was not thatspacious but it was comfy enough, the bed was good, the bathroom was very clean, packed with amenities, although the hydromassage shower is a joke. The staff knew at least four languages, and they were very friendly. The Wifi connection was strong and easy to connect to, fast as well. The breakfast was very nice, it included coffee, eggs, croissant, bread, salami, friuts, orange juice etc. Always had a great breakfast just on the marina watching the boats and the birds and people walking by. All in all, a very nice experience, and would recommend it to anyone.

Review 24：Given that the "hotel" is simply a busy restaurant on the quayside with just nine guest bedrooms on three floors above, and doesn't pretend to be anything else, there was really nothing to dislike. In fact we stayed for 4 nights and returned for another 3 nights a week later which perhaps says it all. Just one word of warning the stairs are steep and there is no lift.

Review 25：Our room was comfortable, albeit small and sparsely furnished, and we particularly enjoyed the view over the busy little working harbour and to the islands across the water. The en-suite bathroom was adequate and the shower notable for pressure and constant hot water 24/7. Standard breakfast, served at table, was wholesome and although it was the same every day extra cooked items to choice were always offered at no extra charge. Invariably busy, all staff were friendly and helpful and seemed happy to go the extra mile. Public car park close by is free to hotel guests.

Review 57：While it appeared ultra-modern and multi-functional, our shower was difficult to use. We were glad to hear that the units are due to be replaced next year. In addition, if you find climbing stairs difficult, you might ask for a room on a lower floor, as there is no elevator.

Review 58：Hotel Marina is a real find! As its description says, it's right on the harbor and just a few steps from where you board the boat for the Brijuni Islands. We had an idyllic view out over the harbor and the islands. Breakfast was generous and was served on the terrace at the harbor's edge. Staff were very helpful. Should we visit Fazana again we will definitely stay here.

Review 68：Both our and other hotel rooms was a bit to small and furnished to simply – unfortunately they are not worth of their rates. Fortunately they are clean and the sea view from the window is beautiful.

Review 69：Hotel Marina is situated in the center of the little port-town Fazana. One step and You are in one of the restaurants on the boardwalk, few steps and You are on the one of the nice beaches surrounding Fazana. If You do not like to walk this is the place for You. I really recommend the hotel restaurant. They have short and simple menu and really nice, fresh and not overpriced food, wine and drinks. The waiters (apart from cleaning ladies there is no real hotel service in this hotel – sic!) are very nice, smiling and helpful people. They speak fluently in few languages, so no one should have problems with communication in this hotel. The parking place is free and situated few meters from the hotel.

Review 71：An absolute fabulous staff ! Have never experienced a hotel were absolutely every member of the staff have been that good. Each and one of them made us feel that we were their ultimate guest! No better place for a vacation for romance or just relaxing by your own. And wonderful free from screaming kids and their stressing parents !

Review 72：The room was not good value for money. It was relatively small and expensive compared with other hotels that we stayed at in Istria, Zagorje, Zagreb, Zadar and Dubrovnik. Lighting in the room was poor. Entering and leaving the hotel was through the dining room and we had to 'run the gauntlet' of diners. There was no realistic way of relaxing in our room - we had to use the dining room or outdoor cafe.

Review 78：The only issue of the hotel is the fact that, having only 9 rooms and a very busy restaurant to run, at times the reception is unmanned. I noticed they are working hard to improve this: they have a dedicated member of staff who is in charge of checking guests in and out and making sure they are happy, so they are addressing the issue. I didn't see it as a problem at all for us but I realise it could be a weakness with demanding or hurried guests.

Review 83：We had a excellent stay in Hotel Marina!! We spend 10 days here. This small hotel is great! Location is perfect, right at the sea front, the restaurant in the hotel have the best food in whole Fazana, the sea food is fantastic, big and nice breakfast, very friendly staff! We have been in Hvar, Dubrovnik and Rovinj before - and we loved it! But after visit Fazana and Hotel Marina we have to come back! And thanks for the surprise - the past we got on the way home! :-)

Review 90：OK, so you could describe this as a Restaurant with Rooms, but if you're not looking for all of the big hotel "amenities" (how many people use them anyway?) this is perfect. The room was a decent size, with an excellent, modern bathroom, although the sea view is somewhat limited, due to the size of the window and the thickness of the walls, but nevertheless, a nice place to be. We kept the window closed and the aircon on any time we were in there, so noise was never a problem, but then Fazana isn't a rowdy place anyway. The location right on the harbourside was absolutely perfect: a good breakfast (more than just the usual "continental") on the terrace, just feet from the water's edge; what a way to start the day! Restaurant food was excellent, never had a bad meal, and every one of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We could have stayed forever, but all good things come to an end!

Review 91：Very nice view of the window to the marina and see. The hotel is well located right next to beach, in front of marina and in the center of all restaurants in Fazina. The hotel stuff is quite nice and speaking good English. Hotel rooms are nice and clean althougth little bit too tight. The hotel has very good kitchen (probably the best in Fazina).

Review 92：The only drawback was the room I stayed in (No 3 -avoid it if possible) which was situated over the back kitchen area of a restaurant next door. It was the source of noise and cooking smells at certain times of day. Luckily the room had air-conditioning so the double-glazed window could be shut to block these matters out. Stay in the more expensive front rooms if you can afford it - they overlook the harbour!

Review 93：The situation overlooking the inner harbour was delightful and being 200 metres from a beach where you can swim in crystal clear waters full of sealife was great. In addition boats leaving for tours around the islands were situated 200 metres away too. The breakfast was substantial and gave a variety of choices from fresh fruit and croissants to well- cooked ham and eggs in various forms. Taking it on the patio overlooking the harbour was very special. Lunch and dinner were equally pleasurable and well-cooked. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Review 94：Hotel Marina is right on a boat dock and above a noisy restaurant. It isnot the least bit peaceful or relaxing as represented on Booking.com.Our room stunk of fish from the restaurant and when we complained to theyoung manager, he was totally dismissive and condescending to my wife.There is no beach in the area except for a short manmade area coveredwith the large type of gravel you would find on a driveway or parkinglot. If it were priced at 50 Euro per night Hotel Marina might be goodfor young budget travelers but at the 100 Euro we paid it wasdrastically overpriced.

Review 96：This was a perfect stay for touring the Istrian peninsula. Rovinja is just a short drive. The restaurant was excellent, especially the fish and seafood. It was the most popular on the waterfront. The only problem was our room ont the top floor with no elevators. We are a mature couple and this was not an easy climb. Request a lower floor location. The staff were pleasant and the hotel was clean and in good condition for an older building. Would highly recommend.
