Review 2:Comfortable bed excellent breakfast and shower was to die for and Margaret very helpful if your attending wedding at ferrycarrig hotel this is ideal at a snippet of price

Review 3:Couldn't get wifi reception

Review 4:Very nice b&b, breakfast was good & bed was very comfortable. We went to a wedding at the Ferrycarrig Hotel so this was only a 10 minute walk away. Lovely views.

Review 5:The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hostess was so friendly and happy to provide us with good information about the area and recommendations where to dine.

Review 6:Owner was very welcoming, accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good choice of breakfast.Would not hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

Review 7:The en suite was a little on the tight side but most importantly it was very clean.

Review 8:We got a very friendly welcome from the owner and a super freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. We could also help ourselves to gorgeous eating apples in the garden!

Review 9:It's not for the younger generation. Also the hot water kept going. And the electric kept going. And as the younger generation likes internet it was bad network there.

Review 10:I like how friendly the lady was and how she made sure we were ok.

Review 11:We got an upstairs room 5. Floorboards were really creaky, every time you walked. Bathroom was fairly small. We did book online, but told the lady on arrival we wouldn't be having breakfast. Thought possibly may not of charged as much but hey that's our own fault for not ringing first.

Review 12:Very close to hotel where we were at a wedding day before.

Review 13:The room we were given offered a meadow view. Yes the room did face the meadow however one needed to stand on the bed to look over the wall and fence that was located about three feet away to see the meadow.

Review 14:Located close to various sight seeing attractions. Lots of parking. Close to highway. Room was clean although a little on the small size

Review 15:On a very busy road, watch out pulling out!

Review 16:Countryside was beautiful, overlooks an old Norman tower. Hostess was a lovely woman who was very gracious.

Review 17:Margaret was very friendly and made us feel very welcome, never saw such red apples on her apple tree. The plums were delicious. Breakfast was excellent and coffee great. Would stay again.

Review 18:Was woken early by the very noisy floor boards upstairs when people were walking around. Wouldn't normally bother me but had a late night, the night before. It was very noisy in our room ( which was lovely) and the people upstairs were only walking around.

Review 19:Lovely and homely with very friendly staff. Lovely views of the river from our room and balcony.

Review 20:It was hard to find something I didn't like but the WiFi for the kids was hit and miss but all it needs is an upgrade and it would keep everyone happy.

Review 21:The friendliness of Monica and Margaret made this a 'home away from home' experience. The place was welcoming and spotless and the breakfast was an event that all the family enjoyed. Plenty to see around the area and beautiful beaches nearby.

Review 22:we had a attic room and couldn't move as every move made noise on floorboards creaking etc, tiny en suite,no latch on toilet door, the single bed had zero view of tv as chimney in its way ,double bed had headboard hanging off and all to one side,,very uncomfortable im afraid

Review 23:Very pleasant owner and staff

Review 24:Didn't sleep well. Cooked breakfast not available due to early departure for ferry.

Review 25:Friendly welcome, very helpful. Clean and well kept accommodation in a lovely setting.

Review 26:Bed should be throwing in the a Skip a number of small Shower old fashion and not very good. Glasses on tray in Bedroom and should be Bathroom

Review 27:House is a lovely House

Review 28:Everything from squeaky floorboards and bed. Shower big enough for a child and we're not big. The fact we only seen the owner when it came to collecting the money as we left without breakfast and no offer of a discount.

Review 29:Nothing

Review 30:the internet wasnt great, the tele in the room was only comfortable from the single bed and the breakfast wasn't great.

Review 31:the staff were nice and it was very clean.

Review 32:The bed was not the most comfortable and the coffee at breakfast was not very strong but I'm sure if we had asked to have stronger coffee this would not have been any trouble.

Review 33:Warm, friendly welcome. Helpful staff.

Review 34:It was warm, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and clean. Margaret was nice. Compared to the the place we stayed in the night before it was heaven. Cotton, white bedding. Just very nice.

Review 35:Lovely stay here, both the house & Margaret are warm & welcoming. Lovely time here, would definitely stay again. So comfortable it felt like a home away from home.

Review 36:None.

Review 37:The lodge is situated 5 minute drive to Wexford town. Staff is very accomodating and friendly. Clean rooms and toilet. A continental breaksfast is served promptly. Very quiet place and it feels like home away from home.

Review 38:room very small bed creaky - not the best matress

Review 39:Margaret was very welcoming and friendly. House in a beautiful setting and close to town and lovely dining room lovely breakfast very clean

Review 40:Nothing to dislike.

Review 41:Clean comfortable and welcoming B&B. Obliged to book at the last minute, arrived early evening, made welcome and looked after. Excellent coffee in the morning, which is a lifesaver.

Review 42:worst place ive been to, stayed in loads of hotels booked out early couldn't handle the thought of being there for a night didn't find the lodge owner helpful at all rather spend the night in portlaoise jail

Review 43:nothing

Review 44:beautiful location, very friendly and nice owners, good choice of breakfast, rooms where spotless, very clean and tidy, great value for money. i would gladly stay here again, recommended.

Review 45:€85 was a bit steep but i think that may be because the Spiegel festival was on and accommodation was in short supply but asides from that no complaints.

Review 46:The owner is a nice lady who was friendly and chatty, nice homely type place and couldn't really fault it, little bit outside Wexford town around €7/8 in a taxi.

Review 47:Only small things - 1) It would have been helpful to have instructions in the room showing how to use the television - not as easy as it might seem. 2) We had a ground floor room, so could hear people walking about upstairs. It didn't disturb us too much though.

Review 48:We found the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent too. Taxis were readily available to/from the centre of town. All in all, highly recommended!

Review 49:We were in an attic type room and there was a humming noise all night like that from a fan or boiler. I wasn't sure where it was coming from but it kept me awake. The double matress was narrow and soft at the sides. I kept thinking I'm going to fall out of the bed.

Review 50:The breakfast was nice

Review 51:The matresses were too soft and there was a problem with the flashing tank in the toilet.

Review 52:Perfect location for travelling around in Co Wexford and only 5-7 minutes drive from Wexford city center. A very nice house and garden, quiet and peaceful.

Review 53:The room was lovely. It was a beautiful day when we were there and it was very nice sitting out on the deck( our room opened on to it) to have a cuppa.

Review 54:ound that the staff were a bit rude and ignorant.... We did not get a shout for breakfast, and when we were about to leave it seemed liked the lady was blocking the door so we could get out, then she mentioned the payment did nt go through on my card, which was not my fault, tho I was made feel like it was. Then my car had run out of battery and we were left to fend for our selves at the lodge, they did nt offer any help in calling a local mechanic... While we had to wait for an hour for the mechanic to arrive, we were left outside like we did nt exist..... Hospitality and welcoming was non existing with the owner and her son

Review 55:It was a nice area and location...

Review 56:Only one pillow per person - but I'm sure that I would have been given an extra one if I'd bothered to ask!

Review 57:Room was large and clean with ensuite shower room. Comfortable bed with nice duvet. Could order breakfast any time between 7.30 and 9.30 and there was plenty of choice - excellent breakfast. Easy to access wifi - no password needed!

Review 58:Nothing to not like!

Review 59:Travelling with my wife and grown-up daughter we were made very welcome and the cleanliness, comfort, and facilities were excellent.

Review 60:the continental breakfast is too poor. The floor is making noise, No living room reserved for the guest.

Review 61:The staff, the quality of the bed, the location.

Review 62:Was told by booking.com we would have a room with balcony, and this was not the case, we had a very small room!!

Review 63:Very friendly host. Requested a breakfast of egg and soldiers which was delivers to perfection!

Review 64:Hair dryer wasnt working in our room :-(

Review 65:It was friendly and quaint, I enjoyed the atmosphere at breakfast! Everyone around the main table joined in the conversation! Very helpful staff on hand who took an interest in you and your stay! Such a beautiful place :-)

Review 66:Breakfast was served very early, in my opinion it should be available until 10.30 not 9.30am. I also didn't like the early check out of 11am, 12 would be more preferable

Review 67:Location was great, views were beautiful, staff were lovely

Review 68:Stayed just one night on way down coast. Had beautifully done out room with balcony overlooking river. Ideal location for anyone looking for a quite location away from crowds.

Review 69:Room 1 was adjacent to road and passing traffic noise was a disturbance.

Review 70:Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Owner was friendly and attentive.

Review 71:Nothing to say in this space, it was really great!

Review 72:It is like joining a family, very warm welcome, lovely house, breakfast is home made, eggs from lucky chicken, free WLAN, nice room, what more would you want? Many thanks, Margaret!

Review 73:Breakfast was disappointing - no brown bread and fruit was withered ! Free range eggs good however !

Review 74:Location was good/accomadation was comfortable and clean.

Review 75:The floor boards were quite creaky but didn't ruin our experience. Wifi works but is a bit slow. I believe this is normal for any place that is outside the towns and cities, and is beyond the control of any property owner.

Review 76:Our host was very warm and friendly, and made us feel very welcome! Breakfast was wonderful and the dining area is just beautiful. We loved our time there.

Review 77:There was nothing to dislike. A brief electrical outage first thing one morning was not the fault of the B&B! And was quickly remedied.

Review 78:A lovely location and charming efficient service delivered with kindness. I would fully recommend this accommodation which is not only in a beautiful location on top of the Slaney and with fields and birdsong all around but is also very close to Wexford and Enniscorthy, which is where my family are, as well as the more touristy attractions such as Johnstown Castle, the Wildfowl Sanctuary, and the 1798 museum. Brilliant!

Review 79:Close to hotel, wexford and Rosslare. Quiet location - no traffic noise

Review 80:To far out of town.

Review 81:Breakfast was nice! Nice views from room, comfortable beds.

Review 82:Nothing everything fine

Review 83:Like the location. The staff were lovely. Room nice and big.

Review 84:Trees could be cut back a bit to give a view of the river.

Review 85:Homely, comfortable atmosphere with a good selection at breakfast time.
