Review 1：Avoid this property if you're looking for a 4-star hotel, it is nowhere near (except for price). Internet does not work; even the hotel acknowledged this in the end (after denying it initially), but they said they could do nothing about it. Reception staff are very unhelpful, occasionally rude; we were made to change rooms twice in 6 days with no explanation, only because the hotel wanted to accommodate other clients; door handle in the second room was not working, staff told us we shouldn't have a problem with this (instead of trying to fix it); breakfast is rudimental for the price; parking is not controlled hence clients may struggle for a place, as others leave their cars; room sound-proofing is non existing, you can hear every whisper of your neighbours. The beach is, practically, a surfer's beach; if one wants to swim only, they will find it difficult. We'll definitely return to Lefkada, it will not be to Grand Nefeli.

Review 5：- Walls between rooms are made of paper, you can hear every single voice from the other room. No privacy at all. - Absolutely no Mediterranean atmosphere, purpose built for windsurfers. Go to Aigos Nikitas or Sivota, if you want to catch some good Greek atmosphere. - Constant very bad smell from the bathroom - Dishes are not washed up during the daily cleaning - No privacy on the balcony as there is literally no separation between the balconies (you can easily climb over to the neighbour) - Absolutely no value for money. Very expensive compared to the experience. I don't understand how other people rate this hotel very high. There are much nicer places on the island.

Review 7：It really isnt 4 star and for the price you pay in August breakfast should be included. The lady recommended a cruise which was way too much on one day, i had already paid and should have questioned her more before I booked it in.

The manager surprised us with a room upgrade to the junior seaview suite which was huge and had (as you can imagine) a beautiful view. We took advantage of the equipment rental to do some stand-up paddling and wish we had time for more!

Review 15：We went for the second time at Grand Nefeli and every time we have the feeling that we are at home or we are visiting best old friends. You have all the opportunities to practice water sports, soak up the sun or take a stroll on the famous beaches of Lefkada if you stay at this hotel. You can dine in the hotel, at the taverns that are really close or you can manage your own taste in the room. In the night you can listen the sea from your bed and you can take in the morning a rich and quiet breakfast. Enjoy your stay in this hotel!

Review 16：I would of liked a kettle in my room.

Review 17：I stayed on my own at this hotel for two days one night whilst waiting for a connection to a sailing holiday. Theo and his team couldn't do enough for you. I was emailed prior to my visit to assist with airport transfers. On arrival I recieved an upgrade to a gorgeous suite and a complimentary drink. The hotel is staffed by extremely helpful and pleasant staff. It over looks a beautiful beach and has complimentary sunbeds. The hotel has a good varied beach bar menu which is varied enough to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. However you are only a 2minute walk from local restaurants- which offer traditional Greek dishes and other dishes etc fish, steak, pasta and pizza. The hotel does offer breakfast but I didn't try it on this occasion. There is a shop across the road if you wish to cook yourself in your kitchenette. I never had the chance to learn to paddle board or windsurf but I did listen to the instructors whilst sunbathing. They were fantastic, friendly and good fun! I would definitely go back to this hotel and learn to do the water activities. This hotel sorts solo, couples, families young or old. A fantastic stay which got my holiday off to a great start. Theo personally greets all his guests by name- very special and rare these days. Lovely bar staff- who will happily serve you on the beach so you don't even have to move! Luxury at it's best!

Review 18：Clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Very friendly staff. Great facilities regarding windsurfing. Good location, two steps from the beach. Tastefull lunches.

Review 19：The location of the hotel is on the beach, very convenient for water sports or just chillin' under the sunbed. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Big balcony. Staff is excellent, so polite and helpful, always there for you, without being pushy. Even though they remember what you drink. Very nice surfing school and super friendly coach.

Review 20：The bathroom and the balcony were dirty although we asked to be cleaned. The bed was old and the matress cheap and uncomfortable. The breakfast price was 6 euros per person through booking.com but only 5 when booked at check in. It was noisy due to the children at the pool and due to bad insulation in general. The parking provided was 150 meters away from the hotel and the parking spaces not in shadow. The condition of the room is not representative of a 4 star hotel (!); the mosquito fense and electric wall sockets at bad state, the jacuzzi was poluting the water with black dirt, the electric door lock was broken, no internet access at the room.

Review 40：I left on the reception a print with booking dates and I had the surprise that the staff used to change the reservetiond on Booking site withat my consenting. At the end they try to extracharge with 60 euro, comparig with the reservations prince. The brekfat was symbolic, it does not warth to pay 6euro for it.

Review 43：Our experience at the Grand Nefeli was wonderful! The hotel itself is beautiful and very welcoming. The location is ideal with easy access to spectacular beaches like Porto Katsiki. The owners are warm and gracious. The lovely Mrs. Anna and her delightful son Theodore made us feel like part of their family. They were most accommodating and eager to help us make our visit as enjoyable as possible. Our spacious and spotless room was well furnished and very comfortable. Our large veranda overlooked a beautiful swimming pool and enchanting ocean. The panoramic view of the mountains and the ocean was breathtaking. My husband and I very highly recommend the Grand Nefeli and very much look forward to our next visit!

Review 44：The over emphasis on family which does not cater for the relaxing break a couple would be expecting in this location. Noisy families allowing their children to yell in the stairwell which echoes throughout the place, continual slamming of doors and generally not a quiet place for couples & management perhaps needing to be a little firmer with the fact that this establishment doesn't deserve the caravan type of guest staying here.

Review 49：We have had a very nice stayat Grand Nefeli. Location is perfect with a sandy beach fit for all levels of windsurfing. Accomodation is very comfy and food very tasty. Review 50：1. В сезон дороговато. Понятно, что переплачиваешь за кайф жить прямо на пляже, но разница все же очень ощутима. Это ни как не 4* 2. Ни в коем случае не берите номера с окнами "на горы"., кроме гор они выходят на довольно шумную дорогу, которая по ночам служит трассой для местных мотогонщиков. 3. Серф станция при отеле не лучшая в классе. Оборудование сильно замученное. выбор не большой. Школа годится только для новичков первого уровня (встать на доску и поднять парус из воды).

Review 51：Расположение - лучшее в Василиках. Отличный пляж для детей. Идеальные условия для виндсерфинга. Учитывая небольшую площадь, территория благоустроена очень грамотно и компактно. Потрясающие виды из окон "на море". До лучших пляжей Левкады ехать значительно ближе и удобнее чем из Нидри и других турцентров восточного побережья. В шаговой доступности несколько хороших таверн. Персонал очень дружелюбный, и если немного переключить мозги на Греческий ритм, то сервис вызывает только положительные эмоции.

Review 56：The hotel is very noisy - soundproofing is a joke - I think the rooms have very thin walls - you get disturbed by the noise from the hotel stairs, neighbouring rooms or the street cars. The bathroom sink was pushing outside sewage during a simple shower. The refrigerator and the air conditioner are old and need upgrades. The outside pool is quite small. I believe the hotel should not be rated as a 4-stars hotel. The hotel is also very crowded during the season.

The staff(family run business) learned my entire families names by the end ofthe first day and remained friendly and polite through out our staywithout being overbearing. Hadreal fun learning how to windsurf and just playing around in the seaand by the pool.Vasilliki beach is pretty basic, but it is sandy and the mostly calm waters and soft sea floor stretch gently out for long way before getting deep, which was ideal for my kids who were new swimmers. The village and port itself is a nice enough, but we had some good meals and days out in Sivota and at other neighbouring beaches. Clearly the area is a windsurfers Mecca, and although we only dabbled we still had a huge amount of family fun. We've stayed in many different hotels, but for one reason or another both our children maintain the Grand Nefeli was the best one ever!

Review 75：We have enjoyed a lot our vacation at Grand Nefeli. The hotel is brilliantly located right on the Ponti beach - - very conveniently for both windsurfing, which my 12-year old son enjoyed a lot, as well as for sunbathing and sea swimming. Great beach for kids of all ages. The hotel room was very clean and modern. Meals were delicious. Hosts and staff are very friendly and service-oriented. We had a great time!

Review 76：The air conditioning was noisy when on and didn't always work despite having all the windows and doors closed. Upon our arrival there was no kettle in the room although there was a kitchenette area; however this was rectified as so many other guests asked about a kettle in their rooms that the owner/manager supplied them within hours of the request.

Review 77：The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The fact the hotel was on the beach was superb and it had a windsurfing school attached to it. It was very quiet and relaxing. Buffet breakfast had so much variety that you could choose a different option/combination each day. The part of the hotel we stayed in was clean and modern.

So while it was 37 degreescelcius and guests were in the direct sun, she refuses to do anythingabout this. This was just one of the examples......
