Review 1：It was not my first stay in this hotel, I was there 5 and 3 yearsago, but...There is no WiFi. Dirty and smelly rooms are for less than 2 star hotel. It is not enough to have 30 m2 to be an 5 star hotel. The selection of foodstuff was really insulting bad. In week when we was there, hotel was almost full with the guests which was not properly dressed for lunch or dinner, but nobody told them nothing. So the main restaurant was look like festival in poor village and like I have told before food selection was like in poor continental village. My wife was also poisoned with food.

Review 2：Golf course is just ok but Staff in Golf House was the onlyextraordinary helpful and kind.

Review 3：The idea of all inclusive packages is that you can access the facilities of the hotel anytime however the Hotel was offering 3 meals per day on their buffer hotel at reception plus you can visit in two intervals of day a kiosk for fruits, sweets and pies!!! You had more possibilities to won the Lottery rather to find an umbrella in the beach!!! The beach & pool bar closing at 19:00 while you can swim till 20:30 in that case if you would like to drink something you will have to walk till the reception or to pay for it!!!! The cold coffee "Frappe" was not part of the All Inclusive and was charging at 4 Euros!!!!!

Review 4：Staff trying to assist overcoming the horrible situation; the location of the hotel was fantastic

Review 5：The rooms and common areas need repairs, not just everyday housekeeping. The elevators insufficient for the hotel capacity (design error). "Guest relations" staff are a total loss - not helpful and mostly explaining how the advertised options can't really be used. Which is a problem by itself - serious discrepancy between ad impressions and reality, whereby you may actually have only one of the several options included in the advertisement and they explain how you can't use it because it is "already booked". After complain, things got better - and guess what - the plce was absolutely empty - so they just lied to get you not using your options. Anyway, one can't complain every day... I asked for visit to a winery in organised group (for a price) and they did nothing. I went there myself, and it turned out I've missed three tours in the meantime, because apparently personnel forgot about me. True, after complain (again) they offered excuses and compensation - and they offered it through - guess who? - the piccolo! That's insulting by itself. The wi-fi technically organised in such way that almost impossible to use, phone jumping from one router to another all the time, and requiring new log-in - even though it is a fenced huge territory and protection not really needed. Beach sand very coarse and sea starts deep - not good for small children. Food good and plenty but awful for Greece - not even once they serve grilled local fish or octopus, etc. - just international food with few 'local' specialities not really being the loved ones. On the third day my children requested we go outside to find proper Greek food - that tells you everything about the food. There were some entertainment options and animation for children - but almost nothing for grown-ups - generally, very dull place at night.

Review 9：The water in the pool with the slides and the bar was very dirty. Many of the guests were very unpolite and were pushing their way to the food in the all-inclusive restaurant. The all-inclusive wine is undrinkable.

Review 10：The location is great with a wonderful view from our balcony. The food is very good and astonishingly well made for an all-inclusive restaurant. The greek staff is excellent. We especially appreciated the nice tennis teacher (we have forgotten his name but he comes from Edessa in Greece). The system for changing the beach-towels every day is wery good.

Review 11：Wifi was non-existent for me, but the worse thing was how the staff treated me when I reached out. "There are many people in the hotel" and "it is not our problem" .. .this is even the manager! There is no path to the nearby village and the staff does NOT know that ...

Review 15：We have chosen this hotel since it claimed to provide sauna, hamam, indoor pool, thalasa therapy. However when we arrived in the hotel, we found out that hamam, indoor pool and the thalasa therapy were not ready to be used. The water of the indoor pool was just been filled and water was cold. When we were trying to ask about the sauna, hamam etc, the manager of the spa insisted on selling us a stone massage. We already paid a big amount of money for one night which we thought we would have hamam, sauna, indoor pool. Not only that we found out most of these facilities are not available, they were also trying to take more money out of us for massage... When we brought the issue to the management and requested compansation, they said they will contact us but they never did... Finally our room was cold and we had to go down to reception couple of times to complain. And towards 12-midnight, they changed our room to a suite.... Yet, i find the management not professional. It wasnt our fault that they were not prepared to open the hotel for the season. They could have at least be willing to compansate for what they claimed to offer but failed to do so.

Review 21：Everything was very excellent. Room was clean, big & comfortable. Food was very good & various, all inclusive menu too. Aqua park is good, beach also. We enjoyed all inclusive drinks & snacks everywere, on the pool, on the beach, in the hotel. Our kids loved aqua park & children disco on the beach in the evening. Staff was very friendly.

Review 22：Rooms can be better fitted with pictures, better carpets..... also morning chasing for the beach sun lounger. All outside premises can be used also by all other beach/resort intruders, no control at all, same for foods, beverages, sun loungers ....... There is a common known secret in the Neos Marmaras town, stay here and eat and swim in Porto Carras.

Review 32：A real 'has-been' resort riding upon past glory. Poor experience if not Russian. Loud club music audible until 12.30 and later. Queues for everthing- battles to enter lifts. Children without nappies in pool. Poor internet. no amount of good weather would make me stay here again. Definitely not worthy of 5* at most 3* experience. Would not return as a family ever.

Review 34：The quality of the services decreases (seems it's a trend of last years in Greece). This downgrades it from the 5* level. 1 example: they spread water on the terase ("Pergola" bar) and alleys, water spots last for hours...not nice view, and it's slippery, one kid has got injured slipping on it. The interior of the building, providing a nice spacious lobby, with opened space for 3 floors vertically is the victim of ecomony of resources, less than half of the lights are lighting...in contrast with Porto Carras Meliton Hotel, where the light defines the atmosphere. Due to "All inclusive" program (I think), the main bar ("Purple" bar) serves espresso as a self service from a Nescafe machine in polystyrene cups...it's ok on the beach, where glass and porcelain is prohibited for security reasons, but in the main bar...5*... :( .The same for drinks in plastic goblets. I prefer porcelain and glass there. Wi-Fi... :( we are in 2014... Free only on the main bar area, but it is under dimensioned. 25 minutes waiting time on iPhone to get connected.

Review 35：Location is great. Architecture of the building. The resort provides many facilities. Room was clean and very comfortable. Good quality of food. Enjoyable theme evenings organized. Good entertainment programs for kids. Overall you will enjoy the vacation there.

Review 61：You need to get organised better in several things a. you need to have some flyers or informations for 7 days or so, because its easier for guests to check whats happening, rather than go to reception or guest relations and ask every day. And not just in front of elevator. b. Its too much people in restaurant and its absurd to wait like 10-15 to take food because 30-40 people is in line. Resort like this should solve this. c. In beach bar / snack bar is same thing, when it opens in 11.00 you need to wait 10-15 or even more to get coffee. You need more stuff there.

Review 62：We have received junior suite sea side view instead of standard room which was great from staff. Location is perfect, food was really good, and animation were interesting especially for kids. Rooms were clean except carpet which lucks a bit dirty.

Review 63：Wifi problems and not clear signal. I was not able to watch tv the first night due to technical problems. Just one big towel in bathroom? The normal rate for this hotel should be 50% cheaper for what it offers.

Review 65：Due to end of season some services were limited - mainly transport. Only 1/2 of journeys of resort bus-train. No boat connection with nearby town. Stay without car is less confortable. The restrictions were fully compensated by price. Water in tap is potable but is not tasty. Ofcourse, drinks were free.

Review 66：The hotel is located in large resort with 2 big hotels, marina, beaches, golf course, winery, hiking tracks. Only 20m from hotel pool to beach with beach bar. Golf course is in walk distance from hotel. All drinks and food is included in "all inclusive". During the end of season, all facilities were occupied only little. It was easy to find place on beach at pool. Great for family with golfer.

Review 78：The sunbeds and buffet aren't what you would expect to find in a 5 Star resort. The food is variety is very limited and the fruit is very standard. The sunbeds are old and worn. Although the water in the pools look clean, the linings are stained. The room and beach towels are old & worn and all need replacing. The toiletries in the room are very limited. No conditioner or shower caps, no flannels either. No water is replaced in your room after you arrive. This is the poorest 5* all inclusive I have ever been to and will never return or recommend. Our veranda was never swept and our room was hoovered once during our stay.

Review 85：Great beach and garden, amazing room and excellent staff. They even upgraded our room to suite with same price. The food was amazing and also because of an injury we had, i can say that they also have an experienced doctor.

Review 86：The trip like a horror movie. There was complete lack of concern about safety. Hotel is full of hazards. Slippery floors, life guards reading books instead of looking at people. My friend broke an arm first day slipping in a wet floor going into the pool. I noticed several other guests where in cast and slipped in different parts of the hotel. Despite this rate of accident, nobody was there to maintain the slippery wet floors nor did they put any warning signs.

Review 88：The food was poor, to say it nicely, the coffee served at th meals was awfull, and that payed in the bar (5,5€ for a double espresso!!!) not much better, the service in the restaurant was inexistent, the restaurant had the aspect of a students' mensa, and we had to ask at the reception for our room to be made up! All these in a 5 stars AI resort and not for a low price! The breakfast in Meliton was exactly the same, but the restaurant looked a bit better and there was some service (the awfull coffee was brought to your table). All in all the price-quality ratio was totallydisproportioned for this resort!

Review 89：The Grand Resort Porto Carras in itself is great: the two big hotels have well appointed rooms and suits ( Meliton is better than Sithonia), the views to the see and the marina are great, the choice of activities is very broad: from great golfing to surprisingly good diving, going through hiking and horse back riding and fun water sports! It is a great place for small children, with a special pool and activities for children. But unfortunately, the activities are the only reason to return to Porto Carras because...

Review 94：The food in the all-inclusive restaurant was absolutely inedible. It was disgusting, and the exact same for lunch and dinner. The bathroom in the reception area was filthy; there was urine all over the toilets and floor, and the smell reached the reception area. The room itself was clean enough, if you could get past the stains on the carpet and the wall. Honestly, this was not anywhere near 5 star (nor 4 star, nor 3 star). The guest relations representatives didn't know what was going on, and the bike rental guy showed up more than an hour late.
