Review 5：We had room 110 with the seaview. What a room. The lady who booked us in and took care of our needs throughout the night in the restaurant and bar was excellent. The staff were very helpful and very well trained in the methods of service. The atmosphere and ambience was first class and very relaxed.

Review 6：The only down side was a leaking radiator that gave an expanding wet patch on the carpet - soggy socks when you forgot to stride over it!!

Review 16：Great Lunch on the terrace. Really good food. Turret room very roomy, and excellent views. Very friendly staff (Lost my phone in a taxi) Receptionist said don't worry you will get it back. She confirmed that people had lost wallets before and had them handed in by taxi firms)!

Review 20：Traditional hotel which has been modernised throughout. Excellent situation with activities for families within walking distance. Nice walks along the front. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was good and the 'continental' breakfast included cooked meats, cheeses etc with option for bacon and scrambled eggs cooked to order. Fridge with water, soft drinks and snacks.

Review 31：We stayed in room 110 which was the best room in the hotel, which we got on a deal with booking .com. I've scored good for value as we found the food and drinks expensive. Although we found the food in the restaurant to be really good. We hope to stay again soon. We will be recommending the Grand Hotel to all our family and friends

Review 36：Steaks in the restaurant were overpriced compared to the rest of the menu. Coffee but no tea making facilities in the room. Elevator was being repaired so had to walk up to the rooms. Bedroom decor was a little dated.

Review 37：Good parking, a good sized room, and a first class breakfast cooked for you, not sitting around in trays waiting. In a great location that is far enough away from the crass commercialism of Blackpool to be nice, while still being close enough to allow you to dip into it easily when you want.

Review 38：poor room (bath in the middle); no real restaurant of any description - a tapas bar; no dvd player in room as promised and no help give when asked for it; not very clean and fraying at the edges; a very limited breakfast menu other than continental which was unchanged - bacon and scrambled eggs was the only cooked item on offer; the hotel public relations dept. overhype the facilities and it is time they listened to comments.

Review 41：We loved the room, location, leisure facilities and the food. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was a perfect stay. We will be returning soon I hope. We loved room 117, floor to ceiling windows, a huge bed and fabulous bathroom with a walk in wet room shower and Molton Brown toiletries.

Review 57：The room was swelteringly hot on arrival, with the only means to cool it was to open the balcony door around four inches because of the restrictor, which was not ideal. Upon asking reception about the lack of air conditioning and if they had any fans we could use the reply was "You won't find many uk hotels with air conditioning, as it is not cost effective to install. We don't have the weather to justify the cost of installing it." They only had a couple of fans which were already borrowed. The receptionist was a bit abrupt and left my query as a "like it or lump it" feel. For a "Luxury" room costing £160 a night (discounted) I would have thought air con was a basic requirement, as in De Vere hotels we have stayed in.

Review 58：The hotel has excellent sea views and our room was very clean. The look of the hotel from the outside is decieving as the interior is modern and stylish. The check in staff were friendly and smiled while pointing out the facilities. The bed was large and super comfortable.
