Reviews for Mountainview B&B

Review 1:Too far from Western Way even though it claims to be 'on the Western Way!' No pick up from Leenaun, no possibility of evening meal even though there is nowhere else to eat in the area.

Review 2:Accommodation was fine. Nice views

Review 3:Charge 10 Euro per day for internet and disconnect the internet in the evening. The internet was not working most of the time. Breakfast was not very inspired. Some variety or baking (scones?) would be nice--not just the "full Irish" every day. A bit of a drive from town/restaurants.

Review 4:Wonderfully friendly host, made us feel like part of the family. Beautiful big room and bathroom, spotless, shining wood floors, tastefully furnished, very new building (so no musty odors). Great view of the mountains. Perfect place to spend our one rainy day in Ireland. Thanks for the afternoon tea.

Review 5:My bed was uncomfortable - I could feel the springs. The price was higher than other places where we stayed, and for the price, there were not as many amenities as other B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland. We didn't have milk or cream in our room for our tea; there was no soap or shampoo, nor Kleenex in our room. The rooms were very Spartan. And we weren't sure if there was a lounge where we could sit in the evening.

Review 6:The rural location with wonderful views of the mountains of County Mayo!

Review 7:This family friendly home was way up in the beautiful mountains of Galway/Westport area. Owners were friendly and welcoming. If you want to 'get away' from the tourist landings, this is the place to do it!

Review 8:The friendly welcome from Cathy and Niamh. The wonderful view,
