Reviews for The Old Mill
Review 1:Bit gutted I couldn't get breakfast but understandable due to it being new years day haha
Review 2:The location and how clean the new rooms are on the barn conversion.
Review 3:I had booked a larger family room but on arrival was given a standard room with no explanation. Whilst unpacking I dropped something on the floor and got down on my knees to retrieve it. What I saw was the bed being held up on wood and brick. Under the bed was a toilet roll inner and under the sofa was a used water bottle so the cleanliness and attention to detail of this establishment was instantly in question. All in all a place with potential but falling short of true high quality standard Im afraid.
Review 4:It's easy to pass the turning in from the main road to the lane the Mill is on! I did (twice.)
Review 5:The room was clean tidy etc, lovely en-suite. Only a 2 min walk to a pub with good food and beers. Good breakfast and friendly hosts.
Review 6:Lovely mill building in secluded spot. Great breakfast with friendly host. If you require wifi best ask for it as some of the rooms at the back don't receive it.
Review 7:Great Breakfast, Good Staff, No Bar but complimentary free drinks and a superb old English Pub on the doorstep Would stay there again taxi to Yarm Centre £7.50 (Nov 2015)
Review 8:Only a little moan. No wi-fi in my room (room 2) and TV reception was poor but it is a rural location.
Review 9:Hosts lovely. Room fab. Quiet. Great location. Overall FAB!
Review 10:We loved the quirky venue, it's rustic, but the rooms are quite modern, very clean, comfortable and homely. This really is a one off B&B and we're glad that we found it. Andy and Zoe provide a warm Northern welcome, the fact that everything was as it was when we last stayed is also great. Breakfast and the quality control was excellent and sitting round a big scrubbed pine dining-room table for a meal with other guests is lovely - home from home.
Review 11:Hand basin is to small, difficult to fill kettle. Little room for toiletries, needs a shelve.
Review 12:Pleasant staff, good location
Review 13:Noisy pipes (central heating)
Review 14:Fabulous unique building
Review 15:How quiet the location was considering how near it was to the A19
Review 16:as a B&B breakfast was a little steep at £8 ,room was small
Review 17:Close to the pub for meals
Review 18:Not applicable
Review 19:Friendly host, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, beautiful gardens & surrounding countryside.excellent value for money.
Review 20:nice big en-suite room.
