The restaurant served up a wide range of breakfast throughout the day and cocktails at night. A huge selection of local restaurants as well as supermarkets for daily provisions.

Breakfast excellent and really good service. went to the pool bar most nights fab cocktails, only €2.50 each. We also had lunch there once or twice and the food always really goog. The fresh orange juice is yummy. It is about 1km to the beach. You are in the centre of thing where food and shopping is concerned. Supermarket across road and loads of restaurant on the same street. Would definately go back

Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is good and the airport is only a few miles away. I highly recommend this Hotel, very good value for money.

Review 24：Very large 2 bedroom apartments. Good size shower. Kitchen perfect for all your needs with large fridge freezer. Internet connection absolutely perfect. Air condition works very well and is not loud compared to others. The staff is very friendly. The menu is very cheap and delicious. Kitchen is open from 8.00am till 17.00 pm. The hotel offers transport to the airport for 10 euros. Taxi costs 13 euros. The pool is nice for children and adults. I do prefer the sea. Right opposite of the hotel you just walk straight down to the beach. The beach is about 5-7 minutes walk. The sandy beach is perfect for the kids it goes very slow in to deep water. On the beach there are selling lovely large fruit salads ( contains pineapple, strawberry, cherries, apples, nectarines and melons) for 4 euros. All in all we had an absolutely great time. We will be coming back to Vanessa Hotel for definate.

Review 27：The only thing i can comment on this subject is that i found the bed slightly uncomfortable, probably because the frame was wooden with wood slats......therefore no give, otherwise the hotel is ideal.

Review 31：Located in the middle of the main road, this place is in a great location and only ten mins from the beach. The room (we had a one bedroom apt) was spacious and the shower was HUGE. Everything we needed was there and the staff were all very friendly. The pool area is clean, although it doesn't get all that much sun in the morning. We didn't mind, though, as we prefer the beach. I'd definitely recommend this place and stay there again.

Review 33：We stayed recently for a week in September, a little late for the season and thought that everything was just amazing. It is a pleasantly peaceful island with gorgeous scenery, private coves and beaches and quaint little villages. Zakynthos town is around a 10 minute drive. Our Hotel host/ owner is really helpful and can provide lots of helpful advice for the ferry crossing visit other areas and car rentals. His family are also extremely helpful. Thanks for a really great holiday. The Room is very clean and comfortable for big family. This was our favor family holiday and we give it a firm 10/10! All in all I would highly recommend this hotel because it is not just the place but the people who make it great. All our best wishes to the owners family! We hope to come back to your hotel next time!

Review 38：Well it's fair to say that Kalamki has become like a second home, and the same with Hotel Vanessa. The hotel is ideally placed, being in the heart of the resort, so there are many fabulous places to eat close by, and a short walk to the beach. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the air conditioning comes free, unlike many other places! So great resort, and a great hotel. I'll save the best for last, this is a family run hotel, and Fortis, Demtris, Gina and everyone else are so friendly and helpful, you could not wish for better hosts. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Kalamaki!

Review 55：I liked this hotel a lot and we have stayed here the second time with my friend! The room is big and also you can cook food there. But this time we stayed only 1day so we didnt use kitchen. I liked staff, because they are very kind and friendly, and last time they told me about the nicest places on the island, they helped us with taxi and bus, so we didnt have problems to get to airport in Patra. The sea is only about 10 min by walk, and in september last year we saw a baby-turtle on the beach! there are many nice restaurants near the hotel. we danced sirtaki in one of them and it was amazing! in the bar food and drinks are very cheap.

Review 109：Balcony view was an abandoned lot, bathroom appliances were towards the end of their lifespan, old & worn out furniture, dirty floors (we cleaned the room ourselves upon arrival), no wifi signal in the rooms (you could only get some signal at the reception), they charged our credit card for the complete stay when we arrived, saying they did it by mistake (I think this pissed me off the most). Included breakfast (Continental) consisted of two slices of bred, butter, marmalade, one coffee (not espresso) and one juice. But there were other breakfast options as well, at extra cost. Pool was fitted with rusted and worn-out sun beds and it didn't look attractive or clean enough for us to try it. Relatively quiet when the room-neighbors were sleeping or when the cleaning lady didn't decide to clean some rooms at midnight or at 2pm, when our baby was sleeping. So, all in all, for the paid price we could say it was acceptable, but there's room for improvement.
Review 110：Working air-conditioning, balcony, small kitchen fitted with several useful appliances, good location withing the center of Kalamaki. Due to our early booking we paid a fairly good price for our 10 days stay.

Review 113：The hotel has been one of four hotels we'd booked for our trip to Greece- and it had the best ratings of all- which we cannot understand at all. Except that it was very cheap and the staff was very young and friendly we have been very disappointed with the rest. The hotel lies directly at the main street in Kalamaki. You should know that Kalamaki and Laganas are the main spots for tourists from Great Britain- which in itself is not bad, we like the British people very much. It is just that you have to like their idea of holidays- and that we don't! The whole town is such a noisy place- music playing all day and long during the night in all hotels and restaurants - and you get the impression that every business tries to outplay the other. Lights all over the place and party people everywhere. Even at the hotel bar loud music all day and half of the night- not bad kind of music- but nothing if you like to relax a little and are seeking a quiet place. Luckily our room went to the back side because we requested a quiet room with the booking- so if you turned on the aircon at least you could sleep at night with the windows closed. The price for that was a very poor sight- mostly you could see all the trashbins of the surrounding bars and restaurants.Cleaning of the apartments should be every other day- thats what they tell you in your booking. After 2 days, we did get new towels and toilet paper- but that was all the "cleaning" we could see- no beds made, bathroom not cleaned. Under the bed we found dried raisins and a peach pit and some other trash (we moved the bed from the wall...). 2 days later we returned late at night- and found the apartment not cleaned at all- no new towels, no toilet paper. We did complain and the girl at the reception was very sorry and gave us new towels and paper. The next day they even gave us new linens (which we didn't expect, but was nice).

The hotel was in a good position, nice bar and other bar/food places and little shops on the door step - but still nice and quiet. Nice staff too.
