Review 1：Some people at the reception were rude most part of the time, which made us uncomfortable to ask questions about our staying or the island.

Review 2：I really liked the food and staff of the restaurant. The bedrooms were confortables. The location was really good, as well. They are close to a nice little beach, that is worth visiting. Next time I come to Zakynthos (hopefully, really soon!), I will definitely stay at Palatino's Hotel.

Review 4：The location is really close to the nicest area of Zakinthos town (St Marco Square) and a 5-minute drive from the beautiful dining area of Bouhali (where the castle is). It is gloriously retired from the hustle and bustle of the port area, so the location is a plus. It is also very close to this tiny little traditional tavern Kanela me Garufallo, which is an authentic gem serving delicious authentic home-made Greek food.

Review 5：The staff had no idea about times of the ferries or what was the best directions to go to another island. They were very limited in knowledge about the easiest way to get there and gave wrong information. Waited for ages for a taxi!!

Review 9：The room was very dated and musty. The bed was not comfortable, and the bathroom was tiny with a very strange tub. Half the tub was lower then the rest. Very dangerous! I wouldn't stay here again. Better modern options for the same money.

Review 18：We booked a sea view room . We got a room above a school with partial sea view behind another hotel. We were given a quieter room but with even less of a sea view.

Review 19：We had a family room consisting of two rooms. Both rooms were very small and dark, which was certainly a drawback for the family with a toddler. The tapestry was somewhat dirty and all in all one could see that the rooms do need renovation.

Review 20：The location is good, very close to the quiet local beach and the open air cinema, as well as to numerous cafes and shops (incl.2 supermarkets). At the same time, far enough from the town center to be quiet. Excellent and helpful staff.

Review 26：Nice location within walking distance (3minutes) from center, nice breakfast buffet with different deserts every day, excellent restaurant for lunch with very nice food and prices, great wifi reception with repeaters on every floor. However some things were locked (for example torrents). Would go there again, for the price we paid. Can't tell about buses and transportation, we had a car. I think rental is easy in Zante. You can arrange a cruise to Navagio at 25€/person. They pick u up at the hotel!

Review 31：The Palatino is a beautiful hotel in a delightful part of Zante. The facilities were truly excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful or courteous. A hotel to revisit without doubt and I will not hesitate in returning.

Review 32：The picture on the website about the beach is a bit misleading. Expect a narrow strip with small/large pabbles. The nearest sandy beach (Tsilivi) is 3-4km away.

Review 79：There are so many things that were wrong with this '4 star' hotel, that I think it would be easier to simply write them down in a list.- The Hotel is in a rather busy location. It feels as though you're staying in Central Athens.- The bathroom was the smallest I have ever used in a hotel... That's saying something, as I've travelled quite a lot in Greece, and have stayed in hotels of various ratings. Not only was it very difficult to move around, but the shower your dreadful, with the curtain barely stopping the water from flooding the entire floor.-The room was very small (way too small for a double bed).- The WiFi changed every now and then (I can't remember if it was every 12 or 24 hours), making it very inconvenient, as we kept having to go downstairs to reception and get the new password.- This might be the only hotel in Greece that I've been in, where the person working at the reception wouldn't even say hello to us when we entered the lobby from outside.- The bed and pillows were horrible. I spent nine months sleeping on a military bunk-bed when I was drafted back in 2010, and I can safely say that this bed was much more uncomfortable. The pillows were made for giants, not human beings, I woke up every single morning with neck pain. I could have asked for new pillows, but I seriously didn't feel like talking to the staff downstairs unless absolutely necessary (it wasn't very pleasant).- Parking wasn't a problem for me, since I had rented a Quad. But the little 4X5 metre plot of land that they have across the hotel, can't seriously be considered a 'parking lot'. They accommodate for this problem by having a parking attendant who keeps shifting vehicles around outside the hotel (poor guy).-If you plan on watching television, forget about it. The signal is atrocious everywhere in the hotel (not just our room, but downstairs in the dining area too).

Review 80：-The breakfast was good. -Three staff members were quite friendly. -The cleaning staff did a good job. -They have some pamphlets on the reception desk, that are worth looking at (yeah, I'm trying hard to find something positive to say).

Review 86：In the hotel only that there is a construction next to it now. The so called beach is very close but very small. There is only about 6 chairs, but on the other hand it was usually not crowded. You can rent a car or scooter and drive to a nicer one (f.e. Porto Limnionas Bay was AMAZING) in the hotel but the company which cooperates with the hotel is not reliable. We rent a scooter, and it was really old one and when we came back the receptionist told us that the guy from rental company think we had an accident! Which was not true. We even didn't made a scratch to it. And the scooter cost 25E per day plus 3E insurance and when we went to the city and found another rental company, there old scooter cost 15E and new 20E. But on the other hand their "new" scooter had 41000 km driven.
