Review 1：Great staff. Food was delicious and fresh. Pleasant walk downhill to the bus stop to go into the city. Room was quaint and quiet. Best view back across caldera to the cities.

Review 3：Everything there was amazing!! Sampson and Lefty were very helpful. It was nice a quite there. The drinks were amazing as well as the food no need to leave. If you like romantic and private this place is for you. It's not to far from Oia which is on the other side of the Island (Which is not very big). We ate at Asterias which was amazing food. Sampson had the owner come pick us up and take us to this quaint restaurant were the food was amazing. It was right on the water!! Best time to go is in July and September as August is tourist season.

Review 4：In our type of studio, the shower could be better, it is an open shower (no bath curtains) with some water evacuation issues, but nothing really important.

Review 6：This resort is stunning. Set high above the sea in the southern portion of Santorini you have perfect views of the entire island and its surroundings. This sunset was amazing and at night the towns of Thira &Oia are like jewels. Samson was an amazing host going out of his way to please. The wait staff was equally professional. The pool area is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The drive to get here is not for the faint of heart as the road is tiny in spots, but well worth the effort. Rooms are new and very nice.

Review 7：i would say that if you want to spend most of your time shopping or exploring the towns of Fira and Oia then this is probably not the ideal place to base yourself, but if you want to completely relax and unwind but still be within easy reach of these towns (Fira is 25 mins away, Oia 45 mins) then this place is highly recommended.

Review 8：staff were amazing and helpful with every request. hotel itself is stunning and very modern, set in a peaceful and quiet part of Santorini away from the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia. both towns are easily accessible via hire car which was easy to arrange once we were there. but lounging by the pool was my favourite activity, as well as watching the sun set from the lighthouse on the southern tip of the island - this is a must! it's only 5 mins drive from the hotel and is a completely different experience to watching from Oia. both are worthwhile but we preferred the lighthouse.

Review 9：The sheets on the bed were too starchy and therefore noisy. Also,there were a couple of hours on the first day of our stay where there was no electricity and water which was quite uncomfortable as it was quite warm. The wifi was also a bit slow but this is something we faced all over Greece so may not be something that is due to the hotel.

Review 15：Everything! Our stay was amazing in Kalestesia! They have everything for a good leisure. The property is not big, so it's very quiet and romantic. Sun beds are very comfortable, actually everything in Kalestesia is done with the soul! The receptionist was VERY helpful! All he was suggesting to us was exactly what we need, especially restaurants hint.

Review 16：You cannot go anywhere from the Hotel without a car. The number of staff should be increased in order to guarantee a four star-level service. The food quality could be improved.

A little off the beaten track, with stunning views and staff for whom nothing is too much to ask, it is a perfect venue for a relaxed break. You probably do need your own transport if you plan to stay more than a few days though.

Review 19：It is a bit remote. Although the akrotiri village is close by, it is a winding, steep walk in the extreme summer heat. However, the staff happily carted us around the local village and arranged taxis outside of it.

Review 20：After having travelled Greece for a month, this was the best accommodation we stayed at. The staff were not only exceptionally professional and helpful, they anticipated our needs. Their were appreciated small touches such as impromptu fruit served at the pool, the gift of desserts, soap that looked like volcanic pebbles and the free use of the Hammam and lovely jacuzzi. The breakfast was good - much like what we had in other establishments but on hearing that we don't eat pork, etc, we were served with especially made treats like Nutella pancakes. The pool is lovely, the decor the white and blue colors you expect from Santorini. On leaving the staff presented us with a lovely bottle of gourmet olive oil. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Review 22：My family (5 of us) stayed in July 2015 in a family suite. It was perfect for our needs and we got a great discount by booking on Booking.com. The place is stunning and peaceful - absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway or for a family as it is not too big. The pool area is stunning and there are no words for the uninterrupted view of the caldera and sunset. It is about 5km from town but that is perfect as "town" is a bit of a madhouse. The staff are absolute professionals and know how to look after the guests. Thank you for the beautiful memories.

Review 24：We stayed in Kalestasia for 3 nights for our honeymoon and it was 3 nights in heaven!!! We made this reservation through booking with a 54% discount on our way to the airport after our booking got cancelled from another Hotel... and was the best thing that happened to us!!! we checked in late took a bus from the airport called the hotel on our way and they came to take us from where the driver dropped us on time because the bus couldnt get there as the road to the hotel is narrow. cars can get through of course but not buses. Lefty who's the jocker man there came to take us.He had the room ready for us and what a dreamy room it is!!!! we booked the luxury suite and everything was amazing. Amazing view overlooking the Caldera, wide room with the sun coming in from every window, excellent WI-FI, heavenly made breakfast, excellent room service.Everything we needed was provided by the hotel, Scooter rental, taxi transportation to the airport, there is a near supermarket where u can buy all you need from there. the location is almost in the highest spot in Akrotiri where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the caldera on the way down and of course the hotel will provide all the facilities you need to make everything feels near you. Stay there and do not hesiate! we really wished we stayed longer and we're definetly staying there next time :)

There are little and medium white houses - these r the accommodations. Some houses had 3 floors some with 1..We stayed at number four, which is nice and small. No bath, only a shower - water will splash into other areas if the bathroom into the toilet if ur not facing the right way. Had breakfast delivered to the room - ate outside facing the beautiful pool . Can see sunrise and sunset from this high location. Oh and the cats that come for food is a bonus!!

Review 40：The location was on top of the hill at Akrotiri which provided incredible views. the Staff was incredible. Any questions or requests were answered immediately and to the best of their ability. our room was number 7 and it was huge with a balcony and our own private spot on the roof we could tan naked if we wanted to as there are high walls blocking the view. The distance from the rest of the other towns was both a curse and blessing seeing as we had so much piece and quiet but it took around 30 minutes to drive to our favorite town of Oia. the location is good though because it is real close to Red Beach, the lighthouse, and Ancient Akrotiri. I loved our stay here and this hotel was our comfortable home away from home. Order some room service especially the Greek hamburger and you wont be disappointed..

Review 41：It's great! I left a ring in the room. When I called them the next day, they offered to send it to my hotel in Athens by courier and it was waiting for me when I got to Athens! The view is amazing! I could see the caldera from the balcony. It's so much more quiet and serene compared to Oia. If I had known of such a view at the hotel, I may have skipped Oia completely!

After three trips we were looking for the peace and quiet you find in Akoritiri...plus some closeness to the authentic way of life on the island..we were not disappointed. From Kalestesia you view both sides of the island.....it is amazing. The standard of accommodation is brilliant and the staff are just great. Add to that the excellent breakfasts and the top quality evening meals I don't think you could ask for more. The restaurant has excellent food and unparalleled service with a great view. My server Lefteris was very friendly and unparalleled service. He made it clear he cared and wanted to be sure you enjoyed the service and food. The Chef Jimmy attended to every detail and was most courteous. The hotel room service was excellent. The server Lefteris was prompt, courteous, and gave a great presentation of the food which had a different specialty each day. The pool setting had a perfect view with a poolside bar. The design gave a tranquil and serene feeling. I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there each day. This was especially beautiful at night with the lights. It was very welcoming for the guests to come together and enjoy delicious drinks in a quiet setting. Review 63：As other reviewers mentioned.. it does sit high up in a private area.. but hard to get that view otherwise! finding anything on these roads is tricky.. so we took a cab and it was fine.. once you are there, you do need to either plan to stay there or have a car. the people are so helpful and friendly..they will help you figure out anything you need to do.

Review 102：The location of this hotel is quite far away from anything tourist-ish. If you like that, then this place is for you. However, it is on the opposite end of the island and is very far from Oia and Fira, so far that it doesn't make much sense to cab there so a car rental is a must. If you want something very secluded, then that's great but we're a young couple and were looking for a few more things around the hotel to do. The food is the only complaint that I have. There are quite literally no restaurants near the hotel, not walking distance anyways. So we had to eat at the hotel a few times. The breakfast was great, but the dinners were quite bland, burnt, etc. and were pretty expensive for what you got!

SUNSET CANNOT be seen from there as it's on the back side that's a field with a wall that blocks the view. Was so upset that I couldn't see it. Last 100m towards there looked like they weren't accessible by car.

Review 112：The location of the hotel is too remote. It is way on top of a hill andthere is no sign from the bottom signalling the way to the hotel. Taxisalso hate to go there which meant we had to walk when the taxi driversdid not want to drive us further up the hill. It was pitch dark and wegot lost...I Suggested to the receptionist to do a lit trail startingfrom the bottom of the hill all the way up to the hotel so that guestscan find their way quickly (it can get very scary at night when it ispitch dark).

Review 113：The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was ok I guess, the viewis amazing. I also liked the breakfast although the hotel could opt tovary a bit instead of offering always the same breakfast.

Review 114：Be avere that it is fare away from fira and the other cityes. You have to hire a car el. If you don`t like to drive, you have to take a taxi for the prise of 25 euro ONE way. It's fare from supermarked etc We like the hotel, but we will nevner stay here again besauce of the location,

Review 117：No ice in the ice tray was the only fault I could find if I need tosay something here, however ... ice was sent up to my room in an icebucket within a minute. This is still the nicest hotel I have everever stayed in!

All the staff were excellent especially Stella,Valentina and Yianni the barman was super friendly and will help youlearn Greek if you want!!
